So Mission: Impress Juno's parents isn't going as smoothly as I thought it would be...

For starters, I embarrassed myself right when I first entered the restaurant, wobbling left and right as I try not to fall because of these high heels Val made me wear...
Damn stupid high heels.
Whoever made high heels wanted to be an ankle breaker...
I ain't getting my ankles broken today though, not today!
I kept clinging onto the wall as the people in the restaurant stared at me, some of them wondering what the hell I was doing and some of them watching quietly as they ate their food.
What am I, a free dinner show?!

I examine the room and then spot Juno in a table in the far back corner, sitting across from his parents.
That must be his mother and father!
Okay Mackenzie...deep breath.

Okay, now I feel like having In-N-Out...

"Oh! There you are Mackenzie! Me and my parents have been waiting for you! Come come! Sit next to me! My parents are so excited to finally meet you~"

Juno smiles brightly as he then drags me to the table, making me plop down on the red seat next to him.
I was now face to face with both his mother and father...oh God, please don't make me embarrass myself even more!
His father then speaks first.

"Nice to finally meet you, Mrs. Mackenzie! My son here has told me and my wife all about you!"

His father then smiles brightly at me as he slightly bows to me.
Him and Juno definitely had a huge resemblance...they both had the same smile.
Juno's mother then speaks to me.

"Nice to meet you too, Mrs. Mackenzie! My, Juno was right...you are very beautiful like a rose!"

Her dark eyes were gleaming with happiness...just like Juno's.
Yep, Juno definitely resembles his parents, but in a unique way!
And they were super nice too!
I smiled to both of them as I then slightly bow to them.

"It's a pleasure meeting you too, Mr and Mrs. S~"

"Ah! And she has wonderful manners too!"

"Indeed! Juno, you have chosen very wisely! Your girlfriend has more manners than the people at my work!"

Juno replied as his cheeks slowly turned red. I giggled as I then pinch his cheeks out of habit.
One hour and two platefuls of Japchae later, everyone was now laughing at the dinner table as we all took small sips of wine from our glasses.
I may have accidentally drank WAY too much wine though, because my eyesight was even more blurry than before...and I felt like I was high on euphoria.
Juno's father laughs as he slaps his hand on the table, causing the tableware to vibrate.

"Ah and that's why you shouldn't tell any jokes to your own boss, because in the end, he'll just turn it into a boring lecture that makes everyone sleep!"

I slurred as I accidentally hiccup, causing Juno to smile. Juno then stares at me for a few seconds before he suddenly starts to worry.

"Mackenzie? Why are your eyes opening and closing like that? Why are your cheeks so red? Are...you okay?"

"Of course Junnie!~ No problemo! I'm perfectly fineeee~"

I sang as I giggled, hugging Juno tightly as I sway back and forth like a little kid.
God, what is happening to me...?
Why am I acting like this?
I have never drank before, so is this what it really feels like to be drunk?
Honestly...it's a lot of fun.
But that's because my brain is MAKING it look like fun.
Don't ever drink, kids.

Juno then tries helping me up, along with his mother, who held me by my other arm.

"Oh dear, she's REALLY out of it! Will she be okay?"

Juno's mother then glances at her husband, who nervously giggles as he rubs the back of his neck.

"I told you not to order too much wine! Now look at what you've done!"

Honestly, I didn't like the bitter taste of the alcohol at all. I just drank whatever I had in my hands whenever I was super nervous...and when I mean drink, I mean GULP it down whole.
Juno stares at me worryingly before placing a kiss upon my forehead.

"Don't worry Mackenzie, I'll take you home...just stay with me, okay? Stay with me!"

"Sureeee~ Absolutelyyyy~ Affirmativeeee!~"

Wait...what is this sick feeling in my stomach? Is it...word vomit? Oh no...I'm about to say something that I'm going to deeply regret later on...
I turn to Juno, smiling at him as my sight got so blurry, Juno looked like a peach.

"Mackenzie?"

"Juno~ You're so cute, you know that? You know that, do you? Do youuuu?~"

"E-Eh?! M-Mackenzie!"

"Oh yes you doooo~ You're so cute that I just want to eat you all up~"

"E-EH?!"

Juno stuttered as he blushed. His mother and father just stared at us, very confused and wondering what the heck was happening in front of them right now. I didn't stop there however.

"Mhmm it's trueee~ I just want to take you home, strip you from those clothes and make so much love to you~ On the wall, on the couch, on the bed...everywhere, baby~"

Damn the drunk me...
I wish Val was here to save me, she's the only one who knew how to deal with drunk people properly and I definitely needed her help now.
Where's my phone...?
I search for my phone by taking off one of my high heels, believing that it was actually there.
Big mistake.
Because of that, I accidentally lost my balance and fell on the table, causing our bowls of Korean noodle soup to fly through the air and because I was so drunk, it looked like everything was now set in slow motion...
I heard "Ave Maria" slowly play as the bowls of the warm soup flew through the air like my grandmother's weave, about to rain down on none other than Juno's sweet and amazing parents...
I tried getting out of Juno's arms, screaming and kicking as my happiness was now replaced by anxiety as the soup inched closer and closer to the victims...
Please don't happen, please don't happen, please don't happen-
The soup then spills all over both Juno's parents, drenching their hair and clothes as the noodles slowly slide down their faces.
It happened.
My brown eyes widened in disbelief as I then fell to my knees, looking at what I have done...
I then felt tears slide down my cheeks as I began to sob.

"Noodles...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

I then felt another sick feeling in my stomach. Oh great, more word vomit...
No wait a minute, this is actual-
I then accidentally get sick, ruining the fancy white carpet before blacking out, hearing Juno's voice echo in my head as I closed my eyes...

"You drank too much, didn't you...?"

Val asked after she helped Juno get me back home, placing me on the couch as Juno wrapped a blanket around me, putting a cold wet rag on my head as I felt so dizzy.
I slowly nod to her as I gagged into the trash can, earning a sigh from her.
She then turns to Juno, handing him some medicine.

"Give these to her every few hours. Don't give her any sweets, no matter how much she begs.
And most importantly...don't let her watch Grey's Anatomy."

"Why can't she watch Grey's Anatomy?"

"Because she'll cry over McDreamy..."

"Umm...okay?"

"Tell me if you need any help. Bye Juno. Bye bye thot..."

"Bye Felicia..."

I groaned as I hide myself under the covers in shame as Juno lets Val out. After Juno comes back into the apartment, I feel him sit down next to me, petting my head like I was a cat.

"Mackenzie...it's okay, don't worry."

"Juno, it's not okay...I spilled soup all over your parents and then I embarrassed all of you in front of the whole restaurant...who knows, maybe even the whole Internet if someone posts a video...I was so stupid for drinking so much and not even knowing it until now...you don't deserve a girl like me Juno, your parents don't deserve to deal with a person like me either...so it's okay, if they don't approve of me, then I deserve it, really."

I admitted as I then stare up at Juno, who stared down at me. He then softly smiles as he pinched my cheek.

"Babo...my parents have approved of you the whole time~"

"What...?"

"When I first told them about you, they knew that you were a good person! They love how caring and kind and sweet you are to me and they're happy that I'm happy being with you! Also, don't worry about anyone posting anything on social media because me and my parents politely told everyone to delete the video and they did."

"Like you? They love you Mackenzie! You're apart of my life now! And you're apart of our family too!"

Juno said as he then hugs me, placing a gentle kiss on my lips.
He then pulls back, smiling as I blush, hiding back into the covers as I heard him giggle.
I'm apart of him and his family now...the thought made me so
happy that I could touch the sky...and it definitely wasn't from the alcohol.
