I hate roller coasters. A lot.
Why do people love them so much?
I mean, what's so fun and enjoyable about a roller coaster?
It's tall, it has steep drops and sharp turns...it looks more like a nope coaster to me.
TaKe ThE RollEr CoAsTeR, they said!
It'll Be FuN, they said!
I rather get sick off the tea cup ride...okay, maybe not.
After I turn off the Discovery channel, Juno suddenly enters the living room, smiling as he held something behind his back.

"Mackenzie~ Guess what I got~"

"If it's coupons for free food, I'll take some~"

I giggled as I wait for his surprise.
Juno shakes his head before showing me what he had:
Two tickets to...huh?

"I got us two tickets to Lotte World! Surprise!"
(*^▽^*)

"Eh?! Those must've been very expensive! How'd you get them?"
(。･o･｡)

"Don't worry about it, all I want is to make you happy! Come on! You're going to love it!"

Juno urges as he pulls my hand, dragging me out the door and soon, we were on a subway going straight to the amusement park.
While Juno was gazing out the window as we wait for our stop, I then received a notification on my phone.
I glance down and my eyes then narrowed at the message on the screen:

Happy Birthday buddy buddy buddy!

Ah yes, I had forgotten that it was already September...and it was my birthday today.
But Juno didn't know that.
Because I didn't tell him.
I quickly turn off my phone before Juno turns to me, smiling.

"We're almost there!"
(*^▽^*)

"Ah...okay okay"

I replied with a sad smile that Juno didn't seem to notice.
Few minutes later, we got off the subway and followed the signs showing the directions to Lotte World. We then stop by the counter to turn in our tickets.
Once me and Juno passed the turnstiles and go up the escalator, I felt my legs turn to jelly as my heart began to race the more farther we went up the escalator to get to our destination.
I was only excited because I haven't been to an amusement park in so long...not because coincidentally today was my birthday.
We then see a bright light on the other end, we were getting close...I brace myself, waiting to see what kind of place I was getting myself into.
Juno then covered my eyes with his hands, causing me to gasp at his sudden actions.

"J-Juno?!"

"Get ready to have some fun Mackenzie~ I promise you that I'm going to make this the best day ever!"

I gulp as I wait a few seconds which felt like hours as I felt the escalator continuing up and up. I then felt Juno's breath in my ear, causing me to shudder.

"On the count of three...one...two...three!"

He then takes his hands off my eyes and I quickly cover them back up again due to the bright light that hit me. Then when I opened them, I gasped at the beautiful sight in front of me...
I have always thought that Lotte World was a small amusement park.
Was I so wrong.
Lotte World was actually HUGE, like a sports arena!
A glass dome covered most of the ceiling above the park, the sun's rays shining down upon us as it casted a natural light for the park.
Because it was decent weather today, some of the glass panels were opened to let a cool breeze flowing into the park.
There were many attractions in the park like a carousel and bumper cars and in the middle was an ornamental castle floating above an ice-skating rink two floors below!
This honestly had to be the most coolest park I have ever seen, maybe even better than Disneyland.
Scratch that, it IS better than Disneyland because Juno had told me that the tickets were actually cheap!
Disneyland, you better take good notes on pricing because this place has more visitors than you!
Juno smiles as he then grabs my hand, our fingers intertwining.

"Okay! What do you want to do first?There's a lot of different attractions here to do! We can go on Pharaoh's Fury, Atlantis, Comet Express...whatever you want since this is your first time here"

"A-Ah, umm...honestly I'm hungry"

Juno giggles as he pinches both my cheeks, causing me to blush.
His adorable-ness is super effective!

"Awww I knew that you looked hungry because I heard you sniffing the air like crazy~"

"H-Hey hey, it's because it's smells so good in here, geez!"

We then go to some of the restaurants in the park to get snacks like ice cream and churros.
After we ate some of those, we then go on several rides that Juno mentions.
Some rides were fun, some of them...not so much.
I was scared most of the time and I kept screaming,

"GET ME OFF! GET ME OFF! GET ME OFF!"

Hey, I told you readers before that I hate roller coasters. Juno hates them too, but all he did was keep his eyes shut as he squeezed my hand tightly.
Few rides later, I had to take a bathroom break so I told Juno to wait outside for me while I did my business.
After I washed my hands, I was about to walk out until I heard someone call my name.

"Mackenzie?!"

"Eh?! Val?! What are you doing here?!"

I replied as I saw Val standing in front of me in the bathroom. Then Kou comes out of one of the stalls, smirking at me.

"Hey~"
(¬ω¬)

"Oh go choke on a watermelon!"

I threatened the man before turning back to Val, who now took a seat on the bathroom counter, folding her arms.

"What are you doing here?"
( ・◇・)？

"Juno is the one who brought me here!"

"Oh wow, that explains a lot because I was at your apartment earlier today to give you your gift...which was two tickets to Lotte World!"

Val explained as Kou washed his hands, chuckling.

"But you weren't home and I couldn't let the tickets go to waste so..."
(^^ゞ

"So you had to invite HIM?"
(¬､¬)

I asked as I pointed to Kou, who holds his hands up in surrender.

"Hey! I have a life too, you know! Flirting with girls can be tiresome work..."

"Yeah yeah whatever..."

"But that is very sweet of him to bring you here for your birthday~"
(*^^*)

I then leaned against the counter, sighing deeply as I fold my arms over my chest.

"Umm yeah, about that..."

Val then gasped as she stared at me with disbelief.

"You didn't tell him, did you?!"

"Tell him what? That it's her birthday today? Mackenzie, you should've told me, I would've given you some birthday se-"

"YOU TOLD KOU?!"

Val nervously giggles as she shrugs both her shoulders while Kou was smirking at me.

"I-It just slipped..."

"Val, you traitor"

"It doesn't matter! Why didn't you tell Juno it was your birthday today? I mean, do you know when his birthday is?"

"Yes, it's in April..."

"Okay so you know when his birthday is, but he doesn't know when your birthday is?! I mean, didn't he ask you?!"

"Yes, but I avoided the question, so no, he doesn't know when exactly my birthday is. He does constantly ask me once in awhile though...look, I don't want to celebrate my birthday and that is that, end of story"

"So why did he bring you to this place then if he didn't know it was your birthday today? It was fate!"

"It was just coincidence...now if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to him before he starts to worry. You and Kou can go enjoy your little date, but you two better not tell Juno, okay?"

I strictly say before leaving the bathroom and walking back to Juno, who was sitting on the bench, waiting for my return. He smiles as he gets up.

"All better?"

"Yep, perfect..."

I lied as I then fake my smile, hoping that Val and Kou weren't following us as we then made our way to the gift shop.
Time for our adventure in Lotte World to continue...
