I have read from a random book as me, Val and Kou were waiting for the annual "Whodunit" event to begin. It was an event where fake murders are committed and the guests have to try and solve them. The money that the guests pay go to a special charity too!
What's also really fun about this event is that you can dress as anything you want! So I came dressed as Indiana Jones, Val came dressed as Claude Faustus and Kou came dressed as Kou Mukami...how ironic.
Everyone else in the crowded dining room were all dressed fancy, in their tuxedos and silky drapes. Doesn't any of these people know the definition of fun?
Val looks around the room before whispering in my ear.

"Where's Juno?"
( ・◇・)？

"He said he's going to be late...he had something to do for school"

Kou sighs deeply as he rapidly taps his finger on the wooden table, resting his face on the palm of his hand.

"When is this thing going to start? I want to win that prize!"

"Uhhh Kou, there is no prize, there are no winners or losers in this event"
(¬_¬)

"What?! Oh what the hell, why did I even come here then if there's no prize?!"

"What were you expecting Kou, a Cracker Jack prize?"

I sarcastically replied as I then heard the host making an announcement in the middle of the dining room. It appeared that the murder mystery was about to begin. I smiled as I then turn to the others.

"Alright guys, good luck and remember, be on the lookout for actors pretending to be guests and actual guests. It can definitely help when solving the mystery~"

"Okay!"

"I'm going to show you two that I have more skill in solving cases than in bed~"

Kou winked as me and Val ignored him, waiting for the first murder to be committed...

"And there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. The Who, How, and Why!"

The fake detective declared as everyone in the dining room applauds for the young man who solved the case without hesitation.
Kou growls as he grips the table cloth in anger.

"I can't believe that man solved it first...I was so close to figuring it out!"

"Kou, you weren't even CLOSE to solving the case, you kept saying that the butler did it..."

"Hey! In every murder mystery movie I have watched, it was always the butler!"

Kou protested as Val kept staring at the young man who solved the case. I then turn to her, puzzled, then I smirked as I got the idea of what's going on.
I place a hand on her shoulder, smiling.

"Val~ Is that man catching your eye?~"

"M-Mackenzie, do you know who that is?!"

Val asked as her eyes were big like saucers. I stared at her with confusion as I take a good look at the man again. I didn't recognize him at all, he just looked like another cute korean stranger.

"Umm...no?"

"T-T-That's Tao! From EXO!"

I have heard about EXO but don't hate me readers, I really don't know them...
I will admit though, he's handsome.
But then again...Juno was more handsome in my eyes...
It's these thoughts again, I have been having these thoughts for awhile now.
Whenever I see an idol or someone good looking, I keep thinking about Juno.
I kept thinking that he was a lot more handsome than all the idols I knew combined.
Was this just a side effect of falling in love with someone...?
Val pinches my cheek, waking me up from my inner thoughts.

"Mackenzie! W-What should I do?! My idol is standing right there!"

"O-Oh, umm...just go talk to him, congratulate him for solving the mystery"

I advised as Val nods to me with approval before going up to this Tao guy, leaving me and Kou behind.
Kou stares at her for awhile, not looking at any of the other women in the room that were gossiping.
Was that jealousy showing on his face?
I then smirked at him.

"Hey Kou, are you perhaps jealous that my friend Val is talking to another man?~"

"W-What?! N-No way! I'm just angry at him for winning the first case! Besides, there's plenty of beautiful women out there for me to see!"

Kou stuttered as he then looks away with red cheeks.
Kou. Just. Stuttered.
This man who has always flirted with everyone just stuttered for the very first time...
I think I just found his weak spot~
Just then, Val comes running back, her face filled with excitement as she jumps up and down, squealing.

"Guys! Tao just told me that he wants to be alone with me! Tao! From EXO! Wants to be alone with me!"

"Oh! Well congrats Val, what did you do?"

"Well what else?! I gave him the my key to our room! Now please give me yours Mackenzie, you can bunk in Kou's room tonight!"

"What?! Val! Me and Juno were supposed to sleep in the room with you!"

"Either you bunk with Kou or you can sleep in the closet!"

Val offered as she stares at me with a serous expression on her face. I look back at Kou, then to her, then back to him and then back to her.

"Closet!"

"Gimme that key Mackenzie!"

Val then snatched the key out of my hand as she then quickly goes upstairs, following Tao as she giggles with excitement. I sighed with annoyance as I then felt Kou pinch my cheek, smiling.

"Don't worry, you and Juno will enjoy hanging out with me tonight~"

"No way in Asgard that me and Juno are staying in the same room as you!"

I replied as I quickly run to the front desk to order another room...Val, you're lucky we're best friends.

[9:45pm]

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"Coming!"

Val replies as she walks to the door and opens it, revealing a young butler holding a plate of chocolate cake.
At first he was smiling, but then, that bright smile disappeared and his cheerful eyes were replaced with fear as he stares at something in the room.

"Oh my god..."

"What?"

Val then looks to see what the butler was staring at and then screamed.

"OH MY GOD!"

On the bed was the body of Tao, who had a knife plunged in his chest! Oh who could have done such a thing?!
