The Menstrual Cycle is such a ridiculous thing. Why should I be punished for NOT being pregnant?!

Im telling you girl Readers out there, THIS is what I imagine how it would happen on Day One...

Mi Ovario: (Humming a happy tune as she just finished putting up new red wallpaper)

Random Red Blood Cell: (Flows by and then spots the busy organ) Hi Ovario! Whatcha doing?

Mi Ovario: Oh! Hey Red! I'm just getting ready for the arrival of the baby!

Random Red Blood Cell: (Sweatdrops)
O-Oh...umm about that...there's no baby this month.

Mi Ovario: ...What?

Random Red Blood Cell: T-There's no baby...we aren't having a baby anytime soon.

Mi Ovario: ( ⚆ _ ⚆ )
(Rips off the red wallpaper)
(Screams like a banshee)

Meanwhile...

"AHHHHH LORD HAVE MERCY ON ME! WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS?!"

I cried as I was stuck inside the bathroom, feeling my cramps punching my gut over and over again as I sat on the toilet, sweating as I took deep breaths.
I then put my hands together, praying that I would survive yet another torture filled week of my monthly cycle.
God I honestly hated being a girl...like, why go through this horrible punishment? Why can't Mother Nature just text me and be like "Sup girl! You're not pregnant! Have a great week! See you next month! Love ya!"
After relieving myself, I then opened the shoe box that was across the shelf from my porcelain throne, where I kept my "woman products."
But my eyes widened with horror and realization as I stared at the shoe box...that was empty.

"No no no no no...this isn't happening right now, this isn't happening right now!"

I repeated to myself as I shuffled through the box, hoping that I could find at least ONE life saver...but there was none.
Well f*ck me...
I felt my heart race as I tried figuring out what to do in a situation like this.
I don't want to be stuck in the bathroom all day! The season finale of Strong Girl Bong-Soon was coming on tonight and there was NO way in Hell I was going to miss it because of Mi Ovario's temper!
I then heard the front door open, signaling that Juno just got back from school. I gasped as I shifted in my seat.

"Juno? JUNO! GET IN HERE!"

"Huh?! Mackenzie?! Are you okay?! What's going on?!"

I heard Juno's voice as I then heard his footsteps approaching the bathroom door, the knob twisting and turning.
I had forgotten that I have locked it...f*ck.

"Juno! I need you to do me a huge favor and I mean SUPER HUGE like your di-dictionary!"

"W-What is it?! What do you need me to do?! Tell me Mackenzie!"

I heard Juno said before leaving the apartment. I sigh as I felt my legs cramp again.

"Ugh, damn you cramps..."

"Okay okay, pads, pads, pads...where could they be?"

Juno asked himself as he walks down the aisle at the grocery store, frantically searching for these mysterious pads for Mackenzie...
Juno was super worried about her, knowing that she was going through a tough time as of now and that she needed help...a lot of help.
He wasn't afraid or even annoyed of her for being angry very easily either, he knew that it was just her mood swings from the cycle...
One minute she would be her sweet self and then the next, she's really salty and bitter.
Oh and she kept crying because she couldn't make love to him.
Yep.
The thought made Juno shy and flustered.
Juno then spots what he was looking for and smiled as he quickly grabbed them and ran to the check out section, handing it to the cashier.

"I would like to pay for these please!"

"Okay...congratulations on having a baby sir..."

The cashier who sounded exactly like Squidward said as he scans the package, staring blankly at Juno.
Juno gasped as he blushed.

"W-Wait, these aren't pads?!"

"Umm...no sir...these are diapers...you got your products mixed up"

"Ah! This isn't what I need! Where's the pads?!"

"They're in the woman products aisle...you know, where the shaving cream and shampoos are"
(ーー;)

"I-I'll be right back!"

Juno stuttered as he then ran to the woman aisle, hoping that Mackenzie was okay...

I was definitely not okay.
The season finale has just started and I'm still stuck on the toilet, groaning in pain as I held my stomach.
I tried reaching for my phone that was near the door, but because of my short arms, I couldn't get it.
I even tried using my shark grabber toy and it STILL couldn't reach my phone!

"Come on come on...come to Mama..."

I begged as I tried multiple attempts to grab my phone with the toy shark...I then finally got it!

"YES!"

Only to accidentally drop it, causing it to slide under the door...

"OH GOD BLESS AMERICA! AHHHHHH!"

Juno said as he filled his arms with Snickers, Sour Patch Kids, Honey Butter Chips, Gummy Worms, chocolate milk and Milky Ways.
Just then, he heard giggling coming from behind him and he turns around, finding a trio of boys who were high schoolers, who were laughing at none other than him.

"Eww he's buying pads! Disgusting!"

"I wonder what the heck he's going to do with them~"

"Only girls buy their own pads, babo!"

They all teased as Juno stares at them with anger, grabbing the package without putting it in a bag and hugging it to his chest.
He then approached the trio, taking a deep breath before he spoke to them in a polite manner.

"Hey, don't you know that I'm buying these for the love of my life, who is at home withering in pain as I speak? Don't you know that she's crying right
now as she sits there, lonely and craving for my attention? Don't you know that every girl in this world has to suffer through this EVERY month and they can't do anything about it because that's how their life as a woman is...?"

"A-Ah, n-no-"

"I'm curious, do you have a girlfriend...?"

"Uhhh y-yeah..."

"Is she in the middle of her monthly cycle too...?"

"Umm...yeah"

"Have you ever bought her pads or sweets and took extra care of her?"

"N-No...it's too embarrassing to buy a girl pads if you're a man-"

"From the looks of it, you're not a man at all...you're just a boy who doesn't give a damn about his lover. Only real men take care of their lovers, even if they have to go out of their way to buy his lady pads...I'm not embarrassed, I'm proud because I'm helping my princess and no one else has the honor to do that, except me...now if you'll excuse me, I have to go back home so I could take care of Mackenzie and pray to God that she doesn't bleed to death by the time I get there..."

Juno said in a low voice as he then walks out of the grocery store, hoping that Mackenzie wasn't dead.

I lie there on the ground on the white towel, feeling so weak and cold.
The season finale was over and I have missed it...now I won't know what happened between the cutest couple in a korean drama ever!
I then heard Juno rush into the apartment, calling my name.

"Mackenzie! Mackenzie! Are you okay?! I'm back! I'm here!"

"I'm inside...I unlocked the door..."

I groaned as I then saw Juno enter the bathroom, gasping as he kneels beside me, holding me tightly in his arms.

"W-What are you doing on the floor?!"

"I'm willowing in pain and sadness..."

"Awww come on, let's get you cleaned up! Then we could watch that season finale of yours!"

"But it's over Juno...we missed it"

"Oh! Actually we didn't, I recorded it before I left!"

"...Oh my God Juno, I love you so much...thank you"

I softly smiled as Juno then smiles back. After getting cleaned up, Juno and I sat on the couch, watching the show as I stuffed my face with the candies Juno brought me while he hugs me tightly as I'm all wrapped in a blanket, placing kisses all over my face as I giggled.
I was so happy and grateful for having such a sweet boyfriend like Juno...I'll definitely have to pay him back later...right after I eat these sweets though.
