Ingredients

Rice flakes or chidwa 2 cups Potatoes 2 finely chopped
Onions 2 finely chopped Ground nuts 2tbsp or 15-20
Curry patta 15 leaves
Mustard seeds 1tsp
Green chillies 1 cut into 4 length wise
Oil 2tbsp
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Green coriander for garnishing

Method

• Wash chidwa and drain water properly.

• Heat oil in a kadhai, add mustard seeds to it. When they crackle, add ground nuts and stir fry.

• Add green chillies, curry patta. Fry for 10 sec.

• Add onions and stir fry till they are light brown in color.

• Add potatoes and salt. Cover it and cook till potatoes are soft. Add red chilli powder and stir fry for 1 min.

• Add soaked chirwa. Mix gently. Cook covered with a lid for 5 mins.

• Stir and mix well, cook covered for 2 mins. Turn off the gas.

• Add lemon juice. Mix well, serve, garnished with coriander leaves. Serve hot.

Tips you may add vegetables of your choice. Carrots and peas can be added along with potatoes.
