As Dawn disappeared and the first ray of light hit the world spreading his brightness,lan mansion was all lively.
The lan's known for waking even before the sun , perfectly go with there pride.

But they were not  only one to be early today..An innocent soul ,on a command of some  heartless man  was standing with back straight as rod ...all attentive..face sparkled in the bright light.. though shades of darkness still appear below his eyes.

Tall handsome guy,black hair sparkling face ... focused eyes engaged with a pair of glasses gave him an elite look,.. someone of great knowledge.

Warm composure was comfortable....his gaze were sharp,not to leave a corner without being scanned ..a perfect definition of a cunningness...though he could be counted as an exception... he didn't had to wait to long ,when a familiar stotic face welcomed him..

Door opened with a flung ,and lan wangji as usual walked inside all refreshed.

" Good morning" greeted the man.

" God morning..." wangji replied, sitting at his place....." You did what I asked."

Man who was about to take his place on the bare chair halted,as his bottom stiffened just few inches above before touching the surface ..as his face turned all frustrated,eyes perching deep holes inside wangji ,who didn't even bother to raise his head... completely ignoring the gazes of the man...even if he could feel it.,all busy busy...in something only he could see

"Nope....I didn't.who's  going to waste his sleep over something useless." He denied,making himself comfortable on the chair.

" Why don't you simply give me the file ??"wangji replied without even giving any glance.

" I said I didn't do....." Before he could even continue wangji cutted him off..with a sharp tone...." You want to be kicked out..??"

As the man sighed  feeling his pride is in danger,he decided to step back..giving it up,a fake smile appeared on his and tone got dipped in sweethoneyoungh .

" Ok,fine..fine..." he opened his small office bag, bringing the file out of it.. extending it towards wangji with a desire of giving it to him,but pulled the second later before the other could even grab it....." At least, offer me a cup of coffee."

It wasn't a request, instead a cheap and bargained payment for his long lost sleepless night.Wangji didn't argued over a mere cup of coffee,... smirking over the victory,he placed an order.

And that it's..young man cursed himself for not asking something else together with it.it was clear he had just skipped his breakfast with how early he was here.

It had just been a second that the order was placed ,and coffee was already on the table....too fast...as wangji had already asked the kitchen staff to prepare it in advance Knowing exactly what the later will demand for.

Seeing the coffee cup on the table,young man frowned, getting the idea that he lost all his pieces.... slamming the table in anger he stood up.

" You punk...fuck you..... treating me like a shit...making me do work  at midnight..without even telling anything I am not your servent..... don't even think that you are my boss..just because I call you one....." he yelled .. huffing ,taking his anger and frustration .yes he was right,only he knew how hard it was for him to get his hand over all that information that he had just placed to the one he called as boss,...seeking someone's personal  information just by knowing that  he is  the brother of miss yanli how bold of wangji to make him do such a thing that too by waisting his sleep.yet this boss doesn't seems at all grateful.

" Yuexing  ....file." deep voice roared at the back of his ear,... bringing him back to reality.he look side ways  getting the grip over himself, realizing that it was all an imagination...that had scattered in pieces.

Passing the file to wangji ,yuexing lifted the cup in air , decided to gulp all those unspoken words with the sip of coffee down his throat.

" And all that  stuffs you just imagined...better keep it in your dreams,it's no  use regretting now,you were the one one to make that bet...and.."wangji words were cutted half way,by yuexing who had already raised his hand making him pause.....

" Don't make me remember that day... most unlucky,worst day of my life.."yuexing sighed,in full of regret and guilt.....why did he even bet ,over his freedom that day...if not for it he he wasn't bound to serve here,no wonder he had no power against his wicked friend.

A bet made between two college friend with a bottle of wine held in there hands four years ago was a biggest yet wonderful mistake yuexing had done in his life time, loosing his freedom against this demon in face of human...he still waited for that on day which he could finish his bet and finally get free.... hopefully

Taking few sips of his coffee, yuexing glanced wangji ..who was to enrolled going through the file...

" Were you planning to give his everyday every hour schedule to me.." wangji turned to face him, showing the file with ten to fifteen pages ..

" Yeah kindoff.."

Wangji sighed not so surprised knowing how perfect and complete are the work done by his assistant com manager com friend...

" Have you read it??" wangji asked.

" No,I came straight to you as soon as I got it.."

" hmm" single humm from the other, breaking the short conversation... ...seeing wangji engaged in the file too intimately, yuexing couldn't help giving a suspecious twitch on his lips.he had been working with him for yrs and to his knowledge wangji getting interested in something, could never bring anything good .He just hoped that doesn't involve him ....he already had many work to take care of .....he is already on his edge.

However he had no idea that a grown up trouble is waiting for him in the coming future,and his illegal boss was planning something quite big yet dangerous,.... feeling a chill in his throat,a crunched inside his stomach,he wished he could vomit the coffee out and give it back to wangji as it was before because he was sure he had to pay for it.but that wasn't the case, therefore he had to swallow it at the end only to find out that today's coffee tasted more bitter that the usual one's,even the dissolved sugar couldn't make any change.

Yuexing looked at him with a smile,sure enough wangji was not going to tell him anything...unable to live in suspense any longer..he decided to take the initiative.

" Now can care to tell me..how is this SEAN WUXIE...??" specially imphacising on the sweet name.

" Brother of miss yanli!!"

" Do hell with your brother of...." Yuexing frowned,his anger reaching the danger level.....taking a deep breath he calmed himself, before speaking again.

" I mean, something else then this....and why you need his information???"

At this wangji finally gave the honor of lifting his chin to face him...." He is the teacher by profession..his father is Mr. Sanxing..." Before he could any more details,..door was pushed a little revealing a small body leaning from the corner.

Wangji stopped his reading,and looked the little angle..who slowly yet softly tip topped inside the room with his small legs.

" Daddy let's go??" yuan said cheerfully.

" Go where my son!!"fast change in the voice..from cold demanding to soft Melody...

" To meet mumma!!"

" *Cough..." Yuexing choked on his coffee that was still in his mouth hearing the what the kid has just uttered...by any chance had he mistaken the word mumma to something else...or were they going on a trip to heaven.

But yuexing was not only the one shocked here.wangji who hasn't taken it seriously thinking that yuan would forget the last day meet..was s
now collapsing....only then he realized that his angel was looking different today.all dressed up...but just clothes were not only enough,his face that shined like a dazlling pearl ..was good enough to make one blind..the warmness that wangji had never noticed on his face..not till this right moment.

" No baby..we can't go..."

" Why??"  Yuan face dropped like a lifeless fish ,that had just left the water surface....

" Because mumma didn't called us..and it's not good to go uninvited!!" wangji tried manipulating him.

" But mumma promised....to meet today...and yuan always keep his promise....so yuan will go to mumma instead.".yuan asked again explaining,making wangji speechless.. how will he make him understand that was just a demand of time...even Sean wasn't at all serious when he just unconsciously said it.there so much difference in promise made by adult then between kids....

"I..i...." wangji shuttered .. unable to reply.meeting yuan's innocent eyes that were dropped down in sadness he could not force himself to lie ...to pollute.. poison his pure brain.... 

On the other hand yuexing was blank,his senses couldn't process this sudden change of event...he just left wangji side for a day,and this that had happened,his confusion reaching the hill,he felt this matter was truly as deep as the sea.....and surely he had to go through it seriously...very seriously.

Unable to keep his patience..he jumped in the middle..." What the hell is this???? what going on here.....and who..who is this mumma out of no where...."

Successfully gaining the attention of two... distracting his gaze from yuan,he looked up to him..." I will explain later!"

" What..I wan..."he stopped in middle getting the signal from wangji.it was not the right moment to discuss this.. specially infront of yuan....that had been patiently waiting for his father's reply

" Yuan...say hello to Uncle..!!" Wangji said,making yuan to turn towards the only person present there...

" Oh..hello yuan"yuexing greeted.But as usual no reply came from the kid,his kitten eyes were wide,and long lashes blinked twice...as his head tilted sideways showing that the other was a stranger....meant to be ignored.

There it goes again... yuexing mumbled heart broken." Hey wangji....does he ignore everyone ..or am I an exception.." it had been years and still yuan doesn't make any aqai stances with him.....seeing him brow taller and taller before his eyes,yet being a stranger..was little heartbreaking.

" No ,not everyone.....he recognizes his mumma...one he meet yesterday." hearing  his words his face sparkled lightly which soon faced getting the meaning behind them....a feeling of déjà vu stucked him....

It took yuexing few minutes to digest it..once getting the idea,a gasp escaped his lips,that were wide open..." Don't..don't tell me ,..it's Sean!!"

Reflex nod and blink from wangji satisfied it's consent.

" Daddy..will we go??" yuan asked hopefully.

" a..a...let me think,...go play with your toys.." wangji wishpered,... and an obdient child yuan made his way out of the room,if it had been any other child instead of yuan,a series of yelling..crying and tatrams could be expected,but here his son was far from it,which was the main concern for him.

Wangji don't want his only son to grow up so fast,... remaining child as long as he could was all he wanted, because he knew once he stepped foot in the conspiracy and fight of this family....an innocent yuan would no longer exist.

" Would you better explain??"
Yuexing voice echoed in wangji's ear bringing him back to present..

" I will........but not now!!"was all wangji replied before going mute..

Minutes passed neither of them spokeed a word ,an unexpected silence engulfed the surrounding......

One planning his own plan..and other just making his mind to go with his gusts,to believe his friend was would never do something to regret.

" You know ..yuan laughed ..he cried...just for an stranger!!!!"

" What...say again" gasp escaping his lips,as his picture started getting clear in his eyes he couldn't hold all sort of change on his face....a line of trouble marking over his forehead......" Don't tell me....Sean is that stranger.....wait did you got one more marriage proposal..!!"

" Kind off...."

" Ok.. okay....you want me settle this case..."

" Oh..oh you sound like an assassin!!"

" I'm better than that...." Yuexing eyed wangji, suggesting he is very serious,no more joke would be accepted.

" No...I will take this lead..."wangji replied as serious as the other was...his words were no more of fun...an unerased note.

Yuexing  shared few glances with wangji before opening his mouth again,and finally he asked the most difficult question...

" ok one last question.......Are you planning to use him as a BAIT..???"

Wangji gave a quick thought to it....and he said.

" If he is BAIT...them he would be the most precious one..."

" It's dangerous, one wrong step and all our yrs of work will be in vain.....are you sure about this!"

wangji smirked slightly.." I reassure you!"

" I don't need your freaking reassurance....I want your words!"

" You have my words..."

That a relief ... yuexing murmured, leaning his back against the chair..

" Want to meet??" wangji asked.

" Anytime!!"

" Prepare the car ready.......I need to make a call!" with these words, room wangji ;yuexing left his seat heading towards the door,...

His hand had just turn the knob,making a klitch sound...the body that was leaning against the door outside made a quick run avoiding the chances of getting caught.

" Be aware of cats.."wangji commented,..... other just gave a nod with a pleasant smile.... setting the foot out of the room.

Once outside he stretched his coat in properly.what a good runner he is...time to meet my cat.....he moved his way along the hallway..... decreasing the gap between his destination and him...with every step his excitement reaching his peak.

He had just crossed the door when a hand appeared out of nowhere..like a ghost pulling him behind the door and next moment he was inside the room with door closed.

" What the hell!!"

He yelled,but stopped once noticing the intruder who just dare to this disrespectful act towards him..

" Shizux.."

" Oh..hi xing ge..long time no see.."

" Hello....yeh long time..." he replied... didn't we met day before yesterday...he wishpered silently.

" So can come to business..??"shizux asked.

" Business what business..?"

" Nothing just tell me what was so important that bro called you at home... instead of office, that's also too early..."

" No,you know I can't do that...now if you don't mind can I go" yuexing moved forward ,but shizux was fast enough to block his way acting as a wall between hum and the door..." Not to fast ge".

Now yuexing panicked a little, seeing how shizux was smiling at him, scanning him from top to bottom......and next second he yelled over his lungs ,when shizux suddenly stromed towards him..c.

" Wait.. wait..social distancing... maintain gap..wait.." yuexing stepped back in terror, stopping shizux who was completing ignoring all his please.... moving closer and closer in reflex.

And next moment yuexing was pinned on the his back touching the cold wall..englufed between pair of hand.... although shizux had no comparison with the height of yuexing,but bending of one person out of terror and panicking had almost stabilised everything with there faces at equal level above the ground that's also too close.

" Now..now will my sweet ge ,care to tell me what I asked..." Shizux wishpered .

" N..no...i....I no I can..can't..."yuexing shuttered on his speech with the closeness, avoiding any eye contact.

Shizux pouted , moving a bit closer......

" ..no..no wait,it's..harreasement.. sexual harreasement.....it not good " yuexing screamed,his heart pounding faster and faster with increasing closeness...one could even see shades of pink on his eartip.

" Ok fine...fine I will tell..." he put down his weapon,then only did shizux moved back ..but didn't freeded him from his cage.

" He..I mean boss asked about Sean "... shizux cutted his words in middle " you mean Sean wuxie.."

" Yeah"

"What about him??"

" He..he asked me to get his personal details...."

" Only this.. nothing else..." Shizux asked on which yuexing nodded reflexively......as the grip beside him slowly loosened making him at ease,but before he could he could celebrate it tightneded again,this time more closer..

" Are you kidding me.."

" No..I am not!!"

" Then what about that cat you both talked about."

" wait..how do you know..were you spying us.." this time yuexing was one to ask...and the shizux face paled...did he just blow his cover..... yuexing very well knew shizux was the one eyedropping them ,but still pretended  not to notice as they were confident he hadn't heard word..all thanks to soundproof facility....a smirked curved on elder face.

" Wait..did you just questioned me...." Shizux getting that he was about to be caught tried escaping by wildness and authority...." Here only I am one two question...and you will answer" he gritted his teeth scaring his prey.

" Now spit it out..what was it..??"

" That.....that boss decided to bring a cat as a pet for yuan.." yuexing replied,pure lie......." Seriously" shizux was not at all convensed......" Believe me,...we both say one last week..and it was so adorable he at once decided to take it.."

" Oh, really...if it was that adorable why didn't you take it.."shizux crossed his hand over his chest finally freeing him... raising his eyebrows for an answer.

Taking a deep breath yuexing stabled his breath.... leaning forward closer to shizux with a warm smile he said..." I wish I could take it under my possession.....but it too delecat,I might harm it." with a regretfully voice....." And you know,first come first serve!!" he added ,

" Why does it feel like you're not talking about a animal but a baby!" Shizux commented.....

Yuexing smiled widely hearing him..." You bet!" with this he feared any change in situation and immediately turned and left the place , heading out ..to get the car ready.

Shizux who couldn't get what he meant stood still,seeing his swift leaving he became suspicious.....what was get just tricked.he thought but decided to let it go...as he had important information to report.

As decided wangji and yuexing were on there way heading to the decided place ,along with yuan ...who was eagerly waiting for this ride to come reach his finish line,so that he could meet his some one special.

Meanwhile wangji and the other were engaged in talk, discussing about the future plans....also reveling the incident happened last day.

" Sir,we have been followed!" Driver told them , disturbing ...as both turned back to confirm the truthness about the fact....."looks like lan family car.."

" Ahh..." wangji sighed shaking his head..." They took it seriously.....I think ..we have handle these stalker first.....

" Keep driving!..bit fast" wangji ordered the driver,who followed as commended.

" Sean what are you doing??"mr.san asked his son.... seeing what he was doing,since morning..he exceptionally had woken early today just to carry out his revenge plan.

" I will make them regret,for  tricking me......" Sean replied placing the last plate on the table,...he had been making lots of preparation to welcome his guest.

" Yeah sure sure....but don't come running to me if you get in trouble" mr.san advised turning the next page of newspaper....." Dad....are on my side  or there's!!" Sean pouted,whooing like a spoiled child.

Mr.san looked at his son,side ways sighing defeated.......his son always invites trouble..or trouble gets attached to him like magnet.

" Where are they,..how long will it take....call them?"mr.san asked him.

" I did....they are on there way....just some more...." Loud horn noise from outside made him stopped,Sean jumped in excitement from his chair....he ranned to the door with a big smile.

However his hand had just barely opned the door before his fingertips went numb.the entire door wide open with a loud rumble and wind swept in from outside like a hurricane...

His body  frozed at the spot, witnessing the scene.

" Dadddddd..." Sean scream as loud as his throat allowed him, till the tip of his limits....slam!!!!...and as fast as the door had opened,it was closed shut.
