Kagami's  POV:

     She gasps when she notices all the zits are gone.

    She smiles at the thought. It is nice not to have to pop those things anymore.

     She does not notice her ears are different than usual.

   Luka's POV:

  He sees her and smirks. 

   Wow, her ears are more vampire-like today.

    He is glad. Perhaps, this meant he was wrong.

   Maybe, she will be a full vampire soon.

     Luka waits to see what happens.  He feels her press her lips against his soon after supper.

    He kisses her in return.  He bites her neck hard.  As his teeth sink into her smooth skin, the blood oozes out but dries quickly. 

    Kagami's  POV:

  She enjoys the time spent with him.

    She feels his teeth bit her.

     She sees the blood dry.

     She feels a sudden jolt in her stomach.

      She feels her gum lines become sore.

    Narrator's  POV:

        Suddenly without warning, Kagami passes out. Her eyes flutter closed.

      Luka panics. He fears she is dead.  

     Luka's  POV:

         "No!"  He screams.

    Luka picks up her limp body and carries her back to the room.

   He places her on the bed with tears in his eyes.

       "It is all my fault."

        "I never should have agreed to make you like me."

        "I   will never see you again, no!"

         "I  promise never to marry someone else. I love you."

             Luka felt pain as let go of her.  He does not know what to do.  He sobs in agony.

         Kagami's  POV:
         Kagami is unconscious. She does not know why she can not open her eyes.  What is holding her back?  She is afraid.  Is she dead?  She can not see anything.

          The last thing she recalls is kissing Luka, so why then is she alone?

          "Luka?"  She screams inside her head. 

          "Do not leave me."

            "Please, I beg you, do not give up on me."
