I lay there on the bed at 3 am on the verge to cry. I looked over at my husband who was snoring away.

I kicked him.

"What happened to all the help you were going to offer me, dumbass?" I asked him.

"Tomorrow I will... Anu.. Prom.... Lub y...." He mumbled and dozed off.

My 3 months old son looked at me and cried a little more.

"Please tell me what happened. I am here. But you have to tell me. You don't want more milk. You don't have a dirty diaper. Your stomach looks fine. You are not hot or cold. What am I not getting?" I asked him. He stared at me for a few seconds trying to grasp my words and cried again.

"Amma!" I cried for my mother. Who was back at her home.

I kicked my husband again, this time he didn't even look. "You started this, and now it's your duty to help me till the end!" I hissed at him.

My mother-in-law peeped in just then to see me hassled.

"Is Ishaan not sleeping?" She asked me.
