1.4 - Original Problems

Days later after the little moment between Elena and Lilac, both of them had not stopped thinking about it. People wondered why Elena was so happy now with all the smiling.

Katherine was happy Lilac was happy, but was still frightened of saying the wrong thing, so was still cautious with her words.

Lilac found herself wondering around the town, simply smiling at everyone she'd come across, luckily they'd smile back. But, that smile didn't last.

She was suddenly pulled into an alley and pushed against a wall. Judging by the smell and the iron grip, she knew exactly who is was.

"Hello Klaus." She greeted sweetly. Being kind to Niklaus always softened him in some ways.

"Lilac dear, I've heard you're humanity has switched." Klaus chuckled but didn't loosen his grip.

"I blame a parcel point on you. You pushed me a little. I thank you for bring up my past." Lilac said sarcastically.

"Glad I could help, but I like you better without it." Klaus smirked, his plan going into action.

Lilac was confused, that is until she finally caught on. Before she could say anything her neck was snapped and Klaus whisked her away, continuing his plan.

No one really noticed she'd been gone that day, not even Katherine. Elena was way too happy to notice, even if she was constantly thinking about her.

In the afternoon, near yhe evening Elena made her way to Lilac's place, hoping to see her again. She knocked on the door and Katherine opened it.

"What do you want?" She asked. Elena felt a little embarrassed that Lilac wasn't the one to open it.

"Is Lilac in? I wanted to see her." Elena played with her fingers.

"She's been out all day. I assumed you'd taken her." Katherine placed a hand on her hip.

"No one's seen her all day." Elena said slowly. "I assumed she stayed home."

Both knew something was wrong. Though they hated each other, they both cared about the newly feeling vampire and got into Elena's car and drove to Mystic Falls again.

The doppëlgangers crashed into the Salvatores house and managed to find Stefan and Damon in the house. By the expressions on the identical girls faces the boys could tell something was wrong.

"Lilac's missing." Elena blurted out. Damon clenched his hands to fists. He'd began to really like her, as a friend of course.

"Where was she last?" Damon asked through gritted teeth.

"She went to town for a while." Katherine answered. Stefan was thinking about the situation, a question coming to mind.

"Any enemies we should know about?" Katherine wanted to laugh.

"She has no enemies, unless you count-" Katherine stopped talking, realization in her eyes.

"Shit!" She shouted and grabbed her phone, typing in Lilac's number before pressing it to her ear. She bit her nail nervously, hoping it wasn't true and Lilac would pick up.

The other looked at her expectantly, wanting to know what she found out but waited for the call to be answered. After the third ring the phone was picked up and Katherine's eyes shone with relief.

"Lilac?! Oh god are you okay?!" Katherine rushed, waiting for an answer.

"Oh she's fine, just a few scratches, nothing a little bit of heal won't fix." A thick British accent filled her ear and her blood boiled.

"What did you do with her?" Katherine growled.

Klaus chuckled, "just fixing her up. Can't have her loving anyone anymore. Too much trouble for me."

Damon grabbed the phone from Katherine and pressed it to his ear. "Give Lilac back and we won't kill you. Seem like a good idea?"

"Sorry. But no. If you'd like to see the show I'd be glad to send you the address." He hung up after that and Damon threw the phone to a wall, smashing it completely.

Everyone stood still. Elena's oh one binged and an a dress popped up. She raced out the door and got into her car, the others followed, knowing what to do and drove to the destination, hoping to save Lilac.

Lilac slowly opened her eyes, the darkness surrounding her. A small light was turned on and Klaus was standing there. Lilac stood up, surprisingly not tied to the chair.

"Klaus, why is it you want my humanity to be gone?" Klaus' smirk faltered.

"Because if you can't love someone who loved you for years then you shouldn't love anyone." He mumbled.

"You were in love with me?!" Lilac exclaimed. Klaus nodded.

"Oh I'm sorry my sexuality stopped your plans but it who I am Klaus! You can't just stop my from feeling just because I didn't love you!" Lilac shouted. Klaus raged and sent her flying into the darkness and smashing into a wall.

"You were too blinded by that girl yo see what was right in front of you." He growled.

"I wouldn't have liked you anyways. I still don't." Lilac groaned. Klaus threw her again, but this time Lilac held to Klaus, making him trip so they both ended up on the floor.

He was on top, using his arms to keep him above her body. Lilac smirked, knowing she shouldn't making Eben more mad.

"Bet you wish this position was in your bed." She teased and trailed a finger down his face. Distraction was one of her talents. He closed his eye, slowly falling for her trance.

"Wishing that for years darling." He whispered. She brought his face closer, smelling his breath mixing with her, knowing the move to possibly let her free.

Her lips pressed his, Lilac almost gagged at the movement. She hated him and wasn't even into him, but if this was what she had to do to get rid of him then she'd do anything.

His reaction was almost automatic, rolling them at round so she was ontop of his and his arms wrapped around her waist. Suddenly a door opened and Lilac sped away from Klaus. She wanted to laugh and vomit at the same time, not wanting to rememeber any of what had just happened.

"Klaus!" Stefan shouted. Happiness spread throughout Lilac's body; they'd come for her.

"Took you long enough." Klaus called. Four bodies came into view and Lilac's happiness exploded. Damon, Katherine and Elena were with Stefan.

She smiled before coming into view. Elena gasped, seeing Lilac look anynd perfect as she'd seen her days before. Katherine was shocked to see her still herself, thinking Klaus would have done something else.

"You just missed the beginning of the show. Oh well, act two is just starting." Klaus grabbed a hold of Lilac and broke a few bones, causing her to whimper.

The four stood still, knowing if they did something then something would happen to them as well. But Elena wouldn't have it.

She ran forward, as if to help in someway. Lilac cried out for her to stop, but Klaus had already thrown Elena to a wall, injuring her. Lilac's sudden anger caused her the push Klaus off her and grab ahold of his neck and snap it, not knowing why she didn't do that before.

She rushed to Elena and took her in her arms. Tears started pooling in her eyes as she watched Elena breath lightly. Lilac bit her wrist and gave Elena her blood, healing her completely.

Lilac knew their friendship was something more, so felt the need to do so. She kissed Elena softly, but pulled away too quickly for her liking.

She helped Elena up and handed her to the boys, and watched them take her to the car leaving may herne and Lilac alone. Lilac latched to Katherine away and felt her hug back.

Katherine could just hug her. Even if she just had a moment with Elena she knew this might be the last moment that have. Katherine pulled Lilac off but rushed her forward to capture her lips with her own.

Lilac found herself kissing back and holding Katherine closer. She began feeling something in her, she'd felt it before but it wasn't as strong. Lilac pulled away and hugged Katherine again.

"Thanks for coming." Katherine smiled widely, happy that Lilac hadn't entirely rejected her.

"Anything for you."

Half of this was deleted and I had to write it all over again! But I still liked how it turned out.

Katherine + Lilac = Kilac or Latherine
Elena + Lilac = Lilena or Elilac
