0.8 - Looking Into The Past
Lilac kept the book locked in her arms, not wanting it to get into anyone's clutches. She couldn't afford to have someone find out about her.
To sum it up she was an Original, as crazy as it seems, she was turned my Michael himself. Torture was a word to describe her transformation. She struggled to decide either to die or become a vampire.
Hillary was human, they both were when they'd met. Hillary was the one to make Lilac change by using her own blood to convince her, along with her love. When that had been done Lilac was inseparable from Hillary, wanting to protect from any danger nessecary.
In the end Hillary died, but that's another story.
Waking up with the book in her arms she smirked to herself, glad she'd protected it. She got up and hid it between books so it wouldn't seem so suspicious before leaving her room.
Katherine was in the living room, thinking about herself and how she felt. She was nervous to see Lilac, knowing she would most likely not rememeber the kiss that had happened last night.
Her face always went red whenever she thought about it, even though it wasn't Lilac's choice, it meant something to her. Drunk words are sober thoughts as the saying goes.
When Lilac placed herself beside Katherine, she instantly knew something was up, but didn't care at the moment. All she wanted was to be alone for the day.
"Would you mind leaving for the day Katherine? I want to be alone for the day." Lilac asked deadpanned. Katherine was surprised but got up without a word and left Lilac in the house alone.
Lilac waiting before check the cameras she'd set up around the house, just in case something had happened. And something did.
She watched as her and Katherine kissed. But the worst part? She didn't regret it, feelings weren't apart of her but she didn't feel any different.

Katherine was in the Salvatore Boarding house, with nothing else to do but drink and think about Lilac. Elena soon entered the house and was surprised by Katherine's presence.
"Surprise little doppëlganger. Miss me?" Katherine teased.
"Not in the slightest." Elena rolled her eyes. "Have you seen Stefan?"
"Nope, been here all this morning." Katherine answered truthfully. Elena frowned.
"Where does Lilac live?" Elena found herself asking.
Katherine looked at her doppëlganger confused. She wanted to know where Lilac lived, for a particular purpose of course, but why?.
"Why exactly?" Elena thought for a moment.
"To see if the boys are there."
"Why would the Salvatore brothers be there?" Katherine rose from the couch, slowly catching on to whatever Elena was planning.
"Just a guess. Might want to ask her about the book." Elena internally smacked herself for blurting out something Lilac probably didn't want her hearing.
"What book?" Katherine asked. Elena kept her mouth shut, not wanting to say ask by thing for the sake of being killed.
"Nothing, it's Lilac's privacy." Elena said and turned to leave, only to be stopped by Katherine.
"Since when did you ever care about her privacy?" Katherine said almost angrily.
"Since yesterday." And with that Katherine let Elena walk out the door. Not expecting to hear that from her she said on the floor, leaning against the door frame of the living door.

Elena figured out from others where Lilac lived and made her way over to her place. Surprisingly it was just at the edge of town. She entered the house and was shocked to see Lilac chained up to a chair by Damon, Stefan was standing in front of her.
"Oh look, my saviour!" Lilac called out sarcastically. Elena rushed over to her boyfriend and his brother with an angered look.
"What are you doing?!" She shouted and Lilac laughed.
"What does it look like sweetheart, they're torturing me." Lilac said. Damon tightened the chains and Lilac groaned in pain as the vervain entered her skin.
"But I'd love to know why." She said through gritted teeth. Elena looked and Stefan for answers. Stefan looked andtt Damon to explain.
"She's hiding something from us and I want to know." Lilac rolled her eyes.
"This was nessecary for a simple question?!" Elena shouted.
"Would you have told me." Damon asked Lilac.
"Probably not." Lilac smirked, Damon held an open hand in her direction. "See!"
Elena went over and began loosening the chains before she was pushed back rather roughly by Damon.
"Don't Elena, I need answers."
"Then leave me with her for five minutes. Please." She begged.
"I'd listen to your girlfriend." Lilac intervened. Both brothers sighed before both walking out and shutting the door.
Elena sat infront of Lilac, crossing her legs she admired her features for a minute. The way her hair cascaded down her face, that mischievous glint in her eyes, the unmistakable smirk that never left her face. Lilac soon coughed bringing Elena out of her trance.
"I see the admiration in your eyes. Is that for me?" Lilac teased. Elena shook her head before scooting closer.
"What are you keeping from us? You can trust me." Elena said making Lilac scoff.
"How can I trust you?" Lilac sneered.
"You told me about your past, I haven't told anyone." Elena said honestly. She would never tell a secret given to her unless it was putting that person in harm.
"Fine. If you really need to know." Lilac moved around in the chair a little bit before speaking. "I'm an Original."
Lilac spoke proud of her past, yet that was the only thing she was proud of. She despised herself and a human, weak and pathetic, just like any other human.
Elena was surely surprised at this twist in events. She never thought there was any other Originals besides the Mikealson's. Guess she was wrong.
"Now that I've told you, will you please let me go." Elena wasted no time in unwrapping Lilac from the vervain soaked chains.
She rose form the chair and shook herself as if to dispose of the vervain still on her skin. Yes she was weak, but not as weak as others would be.
"Thank you. Now I rewarding you with letting those two live." Elena looked at her grateful before rushing towards the door.
"Hey Elena." Lilac called out. Elena whisked around to face the vampire.
"Before, I thought you were in love with the both of them. It's all different now isn't it." Elena gulped, only nodded before leaving the house.
Lilac smirked once more before throwing the chair into the fire. She was slowly getting into the doppëlgangers skin, and that was part of the plan.
