"Grounded! You are grounded!" Mom yells while I run up stairs. She found out before I came home that I was suspended. Uh she doesn't understand.

"Yeah Yeah I hear ya," I slam my bedroom door shut and sit on my bed. "This sucks."

I look out my window and see a huge wolf run out of the forest. Panic rushes through me and I run out of my room and downstairs, falling in the process. "Where is Koda?!" I ask mom.

"Outside and why are you out of your room?" She asks and I cuss under my breath and run out the door.

"Doggie," Koda says and I run to him picking him up and backing away from the wolf slowly.

"Paul?" I ask. His eyes, only Paul's eyes look like that. Is it possible? Can werewolves be real? No I mean that's not possible, is it?

The wolf whimpers and crawls on its stomach and puts its head on my feet. "Is it really you?"

The wolf gets up and runs into the forest. Huh, I guess not. I sit Koda down and we both play in the grass. I was wondering if i should go inside or not. I mean a wolf did just appear in my back yard, It could come back and like attack us.

Moments later I saw Paul run out of the forest wearing only cut jean shorts. He runs to me and Koda yells, "Doggie!"

I gasp and put my hand over my mouth. "Are you really a werewolf? Wait how are they even real?!" I ask and he walks towards me.

"Yeah, so is Leah, Seth, Embry, Jacob, Sam, and Jared," He says and I nod. He takes my wrist in his hand and pulls my hand off of my mouth. Oops forgot it was on there. "You might be on too,"

"What?! That's ridiculous," I laugh and he had a serious face so I guess hes not lying.

"Your mother is not being honest with you," He says and looks at the porch. I follow his eyes and see my mom and she covers her mouth.

"MOM!" I shout and run to her. "Paul stay here, please," He nods and I run in after my mom.

"He's lying," She says.

"Mom how could you keep this from me?!" I yell.

"You don't understand im trying to protect you and Koda," She cries.

"Bull! You where scared of what I will become! Anything else?!" I yell and she takes a deep breath. "Go with Paul to see your father, he's in Sam's pack"

I gasp and throw a book on the floor and run outside. I run to Paul and pick up Koda. "Take me to my dad, his name is Jack, he's in your pack," I say and Paul nods.

"Follow me," He takes my hand in his but I pull my hand out of his. "Don't think im not mad at you," I say and he sighs.

"Im really sorry, I saw what happened when Leah was on patrol, I messed up," He sighs and I nod.

"You'll see if I forgive you,"
