"What have I gotten myself into?" Hajime thought as he looks at the large, grey gate right in front of him while next to a bunch of students.

The young brunette looks around his surroundings, where he sees a bunch of students with their own unique appearances and quirks, while Hajime is standing there like an ugly duckling.
"... I... I'm the only quirkless one," Hajime thought, "Well, formally quirkless, but still!"

Suddenly, he gets bumps by a shorter boy, which he looks at the boy, who has blonde hair, baby-like face with rosy cheeks and green eyes while wears a black, sleeveless tank, olive green trousers and black boots. The blonde boy stands next to a silver-haired girl with braided pigtails, red eyes and wears a black suit.
"... Where have I seen those two before...?" Hajime thought.
"... Hey, hey..." Chiaki greeted as she walks up to him.
"Ah! Chiaki-san," Hajime said, "So... your quirk have to do with telekinesis, right?"
"... Yes," Chiaki replied, "But the longer I use it, I get more tired... I need to sleep in order to recover,"
"Makes sense," Hajime replied, "That explains why she's so sleepy,"
"...What about you?" Chiaki asked.

Hajime starts sweating and not sure how to respond. Hajime takes a deep breath while Chiaki tilts her head in confusion.
"..." Chiaki says, "... You don't have to tell me if you don't want to,"
"... Thanks..." Hajime said, "I-"

Suddenly, the gate is slowly opening up.
"Okay, you have to choose between destroying a robot or saving a civilian," The speaker explained, "The civilians are actors we hired for this exams. The passing score is twenty, so do not fail! Now go!"

The blonde hair boy rushes to the field at high speed while the others rush into the field. Hajime takes his deep breath and tightens his fists.
"This is it... I... I can do this!" Hajime thought, "I-I'm gonna be the hero I wanted to be! No matter what!"
