"NARINA!!! NARINA-CHAN!!!"

A voice exploded into Narina's ears.. a familiar one that was for sure. She was pretty used to it by now.. her Android attendant Bella constantly yelling at her to get up if she was sleeping in too late..

It was only a few weeks after Narina had graduated from the Academy, and Violet had come to live with her and her parents as her adopted sister... 

Narina had found a job relatively quick, starting in the Special Operations office as a rookie officer in training, basically for heroes who specialized in covert operations and special combat.. which meant waking early, and terribly tough training..

But after her week of basic training was up, and she began going on jobs that were more of a nighttime deal.. she began sleeping late and waking late..  Bella was just going to have to get used to that..

"Bella stop.. five more minutes.." Narina groaned, stuffing her face further into her pillow. 

"Narina something is VERY wrong.. VERY VERY VERY wrong!!"

"Did dad buy something from Ikea again? I swear they should've taken the hint about how to put stuff together when they were founded like..decades... or centuries... ago.. I dunno.." Narina moaned as she dimly opened her eyes. "When was Ikea invented again?"

"NARINA THIS IS AN EMERGENCY!!" Narina's android squealed into her face.. her green hair fluttering a little as Narina bolted up

"Hahhh?" Narina muttered, sitting up and rubbing her eyes. "What the heck are you.. wait a minute.."

Narina looked around the strange dilapidated looking apartment that she was in..  with the wallpaper sort of peeling off ... pictures of herself and people she never met before were sitting on the shelves..  and there was a mini fridge in the corner.. 

"This isn't my room!!" Narina stammered. "Oooo..kay.. who kidnapped us!?"

"I.. I don't know.. look.. " said Bella, quivering a little, her lower lip trembling with confusion. "I think I might be malfunctioning. Cause according to my logs, I only shut myself down for about 2 minutes before we suddenly woke up here.. and to top it off.."

Bella pointed at the window. "IT'S FREAKING DAY TIME!! AND THE CITY LOOKS SO OLD TIMEY!!!"

Narina looked out the window as Bella indicated. Rather then seeing the Roots and the massive Tree of our great city in the distance.. I saw what looked like a VERY normal metropolis.. and not just normal.. old..

No hover cars..  no holo-billboards, no magnetic hover trains.. not even a City Tree as was usually designated in all the big cities, with the branches being where the Nobles lived..   It all looked so... so... 21st century!!

And to top it off.. many of the famous people she could see on the billboards around were heroes alright.. but NONE of them were heroes I had ever heard of in my life.. in fact.. plenty of them were the GOOFIEST looking goddamn heroes Narina ever saw.

Best Jeanest!? What the hell!? Was that guy wearing pants over the bottom half of his face!? Kamui wood? A Ninja tree!? seriously!? 

Okay.. maybe Ms. Mountain.. a girl who could turn ginormous.. yeah.. that was cliche and not strange.. but still.. 

It all felt very... how to put it?

Anime... there she said it.. it felt like an Anime! I mean where ELSE do you find something like friggin' "Best Jeanest!?"

Narina backed away, and breathed in and out. "Okay.. obviously, something VERY weird is going on here.. we always learned in the Academy that when in a situational crisis like this, best thing to do is not to panic.. but to find clues.."

"Yeah.. well.. the clues are WEEEIRRRD!" Bella said, holding up a framed picture. "These all show you.. but.. as far as my databanks can tell.. NONE of these pictures ever happened!!"

Narina nodded as she took one of the framed pictures and eyed it carefully. It showed her smiling and holding up a diploma from a Teaching School, standing next to her mother and father..

Except.. there was something wrong with this too.. 

Her father Jin, always usually wore traditional Japanese clothing as a way of marking their family's heritage and relation to an old Ninja Clan and of course Manaka, Narina's Grandmother who was the original small time hero Shocker Girl... 

Except..

this Jin wore a business suit and glasses.. something Narina felt sure her father would never be caught dead in..

"This is freaky.." Narina muttered. "like.. Star Trek Freaky... or even Doctor Who Freaky.."

"I could never tell which freaky from which show was freakier." said Bella.  

"It depends on your taste in scifi." Narina said as she set the picture down.  "Least everything in this world isn't TOO different.. I mean.. living in the Roots I guess we've lived in a 21st century setting for a while now.. so we're used to it.. "

"Hey look.. this might hold answers!" said Bella, taking a sticky note off the mini fridge. "It's dated for today.. says.. don't forget.. new Job Starts today..  and there's an address.. it's your handwriting.."

New job.. right.. that actually reminded Narina..

Before she went to bed.. the other day she had received a letter from the Academy.

Apparently as one of the Emperors of the Academy, Narinaand Violet were well suited to receiving part time Teaching Positions in the Academy.

the moment Narina's mom saw the letter.. in fact the moment all her friends saw it.. and everyone else..  they were immensely proud. People rarely were ever vetted or asked to teach at the Academy at such a young ages. Teaching was considered the most honored among professions in that time period.

However... Narina that very night had decided she was going to refuse the offer.

No way could she teach kids.. much less guide them. This was the job for a professional, not somebody who just got out of school right?

Violet had shaken her head in disappointment and said. "I'm not going to say you're missing out on an opportunity.. because it's the other children who are really missing out on an opportunity  to learn from somebody I consider a true hero.."

That had actually stung.. but even so.. Narina didn't have to make her decision until around 2 weeks from the letter's arrival.. so.. she figured she had time to sort it out.

Teaching.. as if she'd be any good at it..  right?

"we have to head here.." Narina said, pointing at the address.."Whatever's going on.. maybe we'll learn more about this other 'me's' circumstances.. and why we're here."

Narina held up a hand, she then clenched her fist and electric energy crackled around.. 

"What are you doing?" Bella asked, blinking a little curiously. 

"Just checking." Narina muttered. "To make sure that there are still something things that are the same.."

Narina wiggled her hand again.. and dragon's scales made of diamond slid over her hand in a burst of electricity.

"Good... still working.." Narina muttered as the scales shattered and she opened the closet. "Now lets see what I have to wear in this world.."

It turned out the clothing in here was rather normal, with a good skirt and purple sweatshirt that fit her perfectly.  

"Well.. time to find this address.." Narina said as she and Bella headed out of the house for the first time. "Bella.. think you can do a GPS scan of this place?"

"Yep..already compiled data.. it's weird, it's like a complete replica of Tokyo Japan... with minor changes to the area..  the advances in technology are nowhere near Varus City, but they do have some greater advances than our technology in certain respects, such as how to manage humans with super human abilities... and that's not all.."

Bella closed her eyes as she compiled information from the internet using her own receptive signal. "It seems.. that .. Super Humans are fare more common place in this world than ours. In fact, it's rare for somebody to be Quirkless, as they call normal humans.. "

"Wait.. so quirkless? So they just call superhumans having a 'Quirk?'

"yep! Well it figures since superhumans became so common.. if they are, they wouldn't call em super humans anymore! Cause it's normal, and therefore it's for normal humans!" said Bella cheerily. "So.. I'd say if anything.. we won't stick out like a sore thumb in this place! OOOOH and by the way.."

Bella grinned in a way which Narina began to feel a little ominous, her eyes sparkling as she held up a some keys. "I found this out back.. WE HAVE A CAR!!... i'll drive-.."

"NOOOO!" Narina screamed. "NO! NO DRIVING! WE'LL WALK!"

"But I wanna dri-."

"NO DRIVING FOR YOU!" Narina stammered, going pink in the face. "Last time we drove we went into the mutant enclosure... AGAIN!!"

"What about if I-?"

"NOPE!"

"How about-?"

"NEVER!!"

"Awwww.. Narina-chan you're no fun." said Bella, giving Narina a pout. 

"I'd rather be alive than fun.." Narina muttered. "Now come on.. let's walk and see what we can find out about this place...

It was weird, seeing so many super powers frequented over so many places.. not mention, so many strangely useless powers.

There were some who had powers like, weird long necks that stretched.. or the ability to carry tiny objects without touching them... Narina suspected these were the people who tended not to carry themselves into the super hero profession... not all people with powers could be immensely special in a society where EVERYONE had powers.

And elderly people were far more present. Narina suspected that due to the lack of advancements in health and fitness, nobody was living till their 100s and still looking young like in her world.  And to her that kind of felt like a third world country. 

Finally, Narina and Bella found themselves standing at what appeared to be a High School building, labeled 'UA' at the front entrance.

"A high school?" Narina muttered. "Well I guess I am still school age technically.. but.. the note said I had a job.."

"Well maybe job in this place means.. you need more education!" said Bella. 

"HAHAHAHAHAHA I'M HERE GREETING YOU AT THE ENTRANCE!!!!" A booming voice exploded into the din.. as a massive shadow shot down from the sky, smashing into the road in front of Narina in a booming shockwave.

"UWWWWWAAAAHH!!" Narina screamed with fright, backing away fearfully. "WHAT THE HELL!?"

The most muscular man that Narina had EVER seen in her entire LIFE was there... and not only was he muscular.. like.. he was massive.. like.. the Incredible Hulk.. only.. crazier!! Cause that grin he had made him look like Juiced up Joker..

No seriously! He had on a MASSIVe perpetual grin that could freak out even the clown prince of crime himself.. his hair flung up into two tails like rabbit ears.. and his voice.. it was like stereotypical over jovial super hero.. like... like..

"OUTRAAAAGEOUS!!!" Yelled the man, putting on an Aquaman pose. 

"OH GOD HE'S AQUAMAN ON STEROIDS!!" Narina stammered. 

"NARINA!!! It is great to see that you made it to your first job here.. at the UA!! While you have not made it into any Hero Agencies... I know for a fact.. that you will be a GREAT asset to our students here.. helping them shine the best they can... being a teacher is in itself.. a sort of heroic deed you know!" said the massive man. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!"

"Do you ever stop grinning!? Doesn't it hurt your face!?" Narina stammered. "AND WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!?"

The man stared at Narina for a second, his perpetual grin still plastered on his face, freaking Narina out even more. 

"HAHAHAHAHAHHA! SURELY YOU JEST NARINA MY DEAR!!" said the man, his voice echoing as if he were in a long hallway, like they did in super hero movies. "HAHAHAHA! You and I only just spoke yesterday!! And how could anybody possibly forget the greatest of heroes!? The symbol of peace and Justice.... ALL MIGHT!!"

"I can see why he's not forgettable.." Bella squeaked, her eyes wide. "He seems like he might be a crazy loon.. should we call police?"

"HAHAHAH! I don't know you girl.. but that was a GLORIOUS joke!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!" All Might laughed. adjusting the tie on his manilla colored suit. "COME! THE STUDENTS ARE WAITING!!  I hope you don't mind.. but I was sent to do the greeting for you.. since it's the first time a position for such a YOUNG upcoming heroic girl like yourself has ever been opened! a chance for a Quirkless person to contribute to heroic society in their own special way.. you must be THRILLED!!"

"Wait.. quirkless?" Narina and Bella looked at each other. Perhaps Narina WOULD stick out like a sore thumb with her powers?

"I AM HERE SHOWING YOU TO YOUR CLASSROOMS!!" All Might yelled, grabbing Bella and Narina under his arms like footballs and dashing at super speed into the school building.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!" Bella and Narina screamed as they went at a blur.

Dang.. this guy.. he was almost as fast as Hypersonic Empress... well.. almost..

Narina suddenly found herself in front of a large door marked "class 1-A".. with a door that was definitely big enough to fit the massive All Might.

"Beyond these doors.. Narina Yukata! Former Only Quirkless Student of UA Academy!! Is the next generation of FIRST RATE heroes! With the growing amount of villainy emerging today.. we have brought in only our BEST tutor to make sure these young minds (though they are probably all your same age) succeed out there!"

"Wait.. I'M A TUTOR!?" Narina stammered. 

"HAHAHAHA!! THAT'S HILARIOUS! Once more you prove yourself a BRILLIANT joker young Narina! HAHAHAHAHAHA!" All Might laughed.

"I'M NOT JOKING!!" Narina screamed. "I CAN'T TEACH!!"

"HAHAHAHAHA!! YOUR JESTS ARE SO EXUBERANT!! I LOVE IT!! HAHAHA Now.. let us introduce you.. TO THE CLASS OF THE FUTURE!!"

All Might exploded through the door, laughing again. "I AM HERE INTRODUCING THE NEW TUTOR OF THE CLASS!!!!"

"HOW IS HIS VOICE ECHOING HEROICALLY!?" Narina squealed. 

"I DON'T KNOW!! IT BREAKS ALL KNOWN LAWS OF PHYSICS!!" screamed Bella. 

"NOW EVERYONE!!" All Might set Narina and Bella down in front of a podium in what appeared to be an ordinary classroom. "THIS IS MS. NARINA YUKATA!! Her odd name aside... She is the ONLY QUIRKLESS STUDENT to ever graduate from UA!! Using a combination of GUTS.. BRAINS.. and inherent MANLINESS!"

"I'm a girl.." Narina said awkwardly, wondering inside if All Might knew a little more about her than she thought. 

"All of you can learn a thing or two from her!" said All Might. "ALL of you.."

All Might looked in particular at one of the students seated.. a small boy who had black messy hair and freckles, and seemed to hang on to All Might's every single word.

"NOW! Narina.. I'm afraid our Homeroom Teacher is on leave for today.. his lesson plans are in the desk, so I trust you can pick up where he left off for today! HAHAHAHAHA! Don't worry, he will return tomorrow to give you the run around!" said All Might. "I AM HERE LEAVING THE ROOM TO YOU!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!"

All Might blitzed out of the room with his super speed, leaving Narina and Bella alone in the room with all the kids.

There was a silence as Narina and Bella stared at all the other kids.. 

And they stared back...

"Who are they all rebirthed from do you think?" Narina whispered.

"There is no such thing as Rebirthing in this world.." whispered Bella. 

"D.. Damn it.. I can't teach!!" Narina squealed with fright. 

"OI OI!!" roared a particularly aggressive looking student with light colored messed up hair and a murderous looking gaze. 

He gave Narina glare. "Are you jackasses gonna stand there just muttering to each other or are ya gonna do what yer paid to do!!!?"

"K.. Kachan.. don't be so rude to our teachers!" stammered the freckled boy.

"HAAAAH!?" the aggressive boy glared at his classmate. "Like hell I'll be respectful.. this is a class for HEROES.. and yet.. they freaking brought in a QUIRKLESS idiot to teach us!? What kind of STUPID joke is that!?"

The boy pointed at Narina. "Listen here ya piece of trash! I'm going to be the Number One Hero one day... AND I AIN'T LETTING SOME SECOND RATE QUIRKLESS IDIOT BRING ME THERE!! This is STUPID.. I'm out of here!!"

The boy made to stand up.. 

As he did.. Narina felt a fire light up in her that she never felt before... a sort of fire one gets if they're disrespected and told 'hey! you can't do that!'

"Hey! What's your name kid!" Narina exclaimed as the boy made to go out the door. 

"What's it to you!?" the boy growled, turning to look at Narina. "Trash white hair girl!?"

"I thought I might take roll.." Narina said, as a steely glint entered her eyes. " You know who else is quirkless?"

"Haaah?" said the boy. 

"Batman."

"Batman? Whose he? Some idiot?"

Bella gasped. "Oooooooh.. shizzle.."

Narina closed her eyes. "Oh... so you dared to take the name of Batman in vain hmmmm? ALRIGHT EVERYONE!! I'll be your tutor.. but of course.. if I am to tutor you all.... I must get a good gist of who you are... so... why don't we all head outside..? this will be a practical roll call ..

A few moments later, the entire class had headed outside.. and Narina stood there with a clipboard in hand, holding all of the student's names..

Narina yelled "ALRIGHT!! When I call your name.. you're going to step forward, say HERE, and then you... are going to try to take THIS from me.."

Narina held up a silver watch she got from Violet as a birthday present. "Take this from me.. and you won't have to do an extra two hours of lessons after school! You're free to use your quirks and go ALL out on me.."

"On a quirkless person? This is a bit too far isn't it?" muttered a student who had a large strange tail.

"HA!" the rude kid grinned. "She's asking for a beating!!"

"First... KATSUKI BAKUGO!" Narina exclaimed.

The rude boy stepped forward, still grinning. "HERE!"

"Well... gonna try it?" said Narina, holding out the watch and smirking snidely 

"HAHAHAHAHA!! DON'T COME TO ME IF YOU END UP HURT YOU IDIOT!!! DIE!!!!!!!"

Bakugo dashed at Narina.. as powerful explosions blasted around his hands like miniature grenades...

He lashed out a hand at Narina.. and a ginormous explosion blasted out, causing the ground to shake from the tremendous blasts..

"HAaaaaaahh? That's your ability? Explosions from your hands? Boring.."

Bakugo stared, stunned, as the smoke cleared to reveal that half Narina's body was covered in metal armor which disappeared.. shrinking away.

"Oh.. what's the matter?" Narina said, smirking. "I'm just a quirkless idiot remember?"

"DIE DIE DIE DIE!!!" Bakugo roared, throwing a massive set of explosions at his new tutor..

Narina shot into the air, as she shrouded her legs in electricity and propelled herself into the sky, avoiding the explosions. 

"Storm Art. ELECTRON FRENZY MISSILE!!" Narina thrust a hand downwards, and a powerful set of electrical beams blasted out in a scattershot sort of fashion before all directing themselves at Bakugo like a set of heat seeking missiles

Bakugo launched himself into the air, and used the explosions from his hands to propel himself out of the way..

"Good battle instinct.." Narina said, landing lightly behind Bakugo. "But really, is just delaying the inevitable going to help you get this watch?"

"STOP MOCKING ME!!!" Bakugo screamed furiously, whirling around and making a slashing explosion at Narina..

Narina tossed her watch to the side and dodged the explosion with ease, metal wrapping around her legs, increasing her leg strength and speed. "Magnet art.. Armored Leg Sprint!"

Narina propelled herself at enormous speeds.. the combination of increased strength and magnetic push from the metal itself allowing her to dodge the various explosions with ease.

"Oh dear.." said Narina. "Looks like I dropped my watch WAY over there.. whatever shall I do?"

Bakugo made a mad grab for the watch. "HAHAHA!! FATAL MISTAKE!!"

"Whoops!" Narina flicked her finger, and the watch flew away levitating in the air. 

"WHAT THE!?" Bakugo screamed

"Metal Watch.. deeeerrrr.." Narina said, laughing as she made the watch fly around Bakugo's head as he furiously tried to grab it.  "And in the meantime... you're... WIDE open."

Narina wrapped her fist in metal as electricity charged into it. "STORM MAGNET ART!! MAELSTORM IMPACT!!"

Narina rammed her fist straight into Bakugo's back, and he let out a shriek as he was shocked with a ton of voltage and sent smashing straight into the ground a distance away in a giant cloud of dust. 

"Guess it's extra class for you!! Shall we continue the roll call?" said Narina, smirking as she held up her clipboard. "Oh.. and.. uhh... by the way.. don't dis Batman... that clear?"

Everyone else nodded frantically.

"Good.. now.. lets see if I can actually teach you people something."
