Part 2...You're welcome.

Donnie's P.O.V.
Please be okay, please be okay, I thought as I pulled myself up, reaching for the crutch and finally managing to stand up, before racing over to April.
"D, what happened?" Raph hurried over, standing between Casey and I.
"Just help me carry her to the cot," I ordered, and we lifted April over-well, mostly Raph. I was trying to help as best as I could, with my stupid leg.
"Get me the first aid kit," I instructed as I brushed away April's disheveled hair to check the blow she'd recieved. It didn't look bad, but she could have a concussion from being thrown into a wall.
"Dude, is she gonna be alright?" Raph asked hesitantly as he saw the blood on April's forehead.
"I...I think so. But I don't have the equipment to properly check if she had any internal damage. I saw her... she hit her head on the corner of the table as she fell."
I dug through the first aid kit, before finding disinfectant and cleaning her cut, then wrapping her head in gauze. I searched hurriedly over her features, looking for something-anything-that would indicate her condition. But her face was blank.
I sighed unhappily, putting my head in my hands. This wasn't happening... I was over exaggerating. That, or this was some twisted nightmare, where my girlfriend had been knocked out and I was helpless to do anything.
Casey, meanwhile, had been standing in the middle of all this like an idiot, not seeming to notice April unconscious. He finally spoke, "Donnie, I-"
"Don't," I had never heard that much coldness in my voice, "Just don't. You hurt her. You hurt April!"
"Well, it's not like I meant to!" Casey yelled back, "She wasn't there one second, and then the next-"
"You whacked her across the room!"
"It was an accident!"
"That doesn't change that she could be seriously hurt, you-"
"Enough!" Raph shouted, "I can't handle you two! You guys are still playing your little blame game while April is out cold!"
Raph turned to Casey, "Jones, back off. It's not Donnie's fault he and April are together. You should be happy for him, not trying to rip his freaking head off!" He whirled around to face Donnie, "and D, it was an accident. You saw what happened. You both know that neither of you would do that to April on purpose. So get over yourselves and help her."
Both Casey and I were shocked. Raph had never actually broken up an argument... before now. However, my surprise turned back to anxiety as all three pairs of eyes darted back to April, who had begun to fidget.
I was back into action, checking the bandages on her forehead and reading her vital signs. Slowly, April began to open her eyes. I finally let out the breath I didn't even know I'd been holding.
April looked confused as she awakened, but as her vision seemed to come into focus, her crystal blue orbs widened.
"Donnie!" April tried to sit up, but groaned in discomfort as her hand flew to her head.
"Whoa," I said, helping her lay back down, "Take it easy, April."
"Yeah," Casey walked up behind me.
April turned her attention to Casey, and her brow furrowed in puzzlement. "Casey?"
"Look, before you say anything, I'm really sorry. I was an idiot. I wasn't thinking."
April sat up on her elbows, "Casey, it's ok. It was an accident. I forgive you."
Jones looked surprised, but he smiled and nodded. Then he turned to me. "D... take care of her."
I smiled. "I will."
"And if anything happens to her, I swear I'll-"
"I get it, Jones."
"Right," Casey put his hands in his pockets, "Well...see you guys later. Bye, Red."
April smiled. "Bye, Casey."
As Casey started walking out, Raph called out, "Hang on, Jones. Wanna play some video games? I gotta get away from all this sappiness."
"Sure thing, dude," Jones replied, and as they walked out, added, "But prepare to have your butt kicked!"
"Yeah, right," Raph exclaimed, and the door shut behind them.
As silence filled the lab, I turned and hugged April tightly. "Thank goodness you're okay. I was so worried."
April hugged me back, "I'm okay, D. There's no need to worry," she glanced at my crutch, "How's your leg?"
I sighed, "I'll survive."
April smiled, and cupped my face in her hand. I leaned slightly into it, and she reassured me, "You're gonna get better, Donnie. You just need time to recover."
I nodded, and peered deeply into her mesmerizing eyes. Her smile traveled to them as she leaned in and kissed me sweetly. As she pulled away, I brushed my hand across her cheek. She hugged me once more, whispering, "I love you."
I grinned, as she leaned her head on my shoulder. "I love you too."

Well, there it is.
Raph: Whoa, way too sappy for me.
Mikey: I think it was awesome! Annabeth, you did great!
Me: Aww, thanks Mikey.
Donnie and April: *walk in together*
Me: *raises eyebrow* Heeeeeyyyy, you two.
Donnie: *puts arm around April* Hey Annabeth.
Me: *to Mikey* Dude, you owe me ten bucks.
Mikey: For what?
Me: Remember, we made a bet about whether D would work up the nerve to ask April out.
Donnie: O///.\\\O
April: hehehe.
Mikey: *gives me ten bucks* Aw, man.
Me: Farewell, my lovelies!
