It’s sad, y’know, how the little things can affect the heart in miraculous ways. Eijiro Kirishima and Denki Kaminari learned that the hard way when their best friend was at a true crossroads. (Y/n) was a man with firmly built walls around himself. Nothing could knock him down! Words had no effect on him, he’d happily face any challenge brought his way, the concept of fear wasn’t even in his vocabulary. Little did Kirishima and Kaminari know, was that (Y/n) had a singular weakness and that was them. (Y/n), despite being the most scary guy you could meet besides Bakugou, was sensitive to romance. That’s why, (Y/n) tends to keep to himself whenever the subject comes around. (Y/n) loved someone enough to put his own happiness on the line just for his deeply rooted romantic interest and paid the price. Luckily, someone came around when (Y/n) least expected it and before he knew it, (Y/n) was calling Kaminari his other half. They made a plan to pretend to be lovers to help (Y/n) score the feelings of Eijiro Kirishima. Along the way, Kaminari and (Y/n) grew true feelings for one another and that’s when (Y/n) was faced with a crossroads once more.

(Y/n) couldn’t decide who he wanted to be with more and it drove him mad. To chase after his first love or to stay with the guy he knows will return his feelings.

When Kirishima really hit it home to (Y/n) that he couldn’t read the air and that (Y/n) was in the wrong to date his friend, that’s when (Y/n) realized his time was wasted and succumbed to his own broken heart. When (Y/n) lied and waited for Kaminari to offer his support, Kaminari too rejected (Y/n)’s advances.

Was (Y/n) truly alone? The man couldn’t handle it and just… Dropped. Love may not be little, but it really did make its mark on (Y/n)’s fragile heart. Or, what’s left of it anyways.

It’s been hours since (Y/n) fell unconscious thanks to his mental battle. He was beginning to awake only to find himself in Recovery Girl’s office all nicely tucked into a thin bed’s wired frame. (Y/n) could only groan as a subtle pain ate away at the back of his skull but it only began to hurt more as he found Kaminari sleeping soundly within a chair beside the bed.

“As if I wanna be near you,” (Y/n) hissed as he progressed to slip out from the bed. The springs whined loudly to the sudden exchange of weight and much to (Y/n)’s dismay, Kaminari too had awoken.

“(Y/n)?” Kaminari began to rub the drowsiness from his amber eyes. His vision was spotted with white stars that eventually cleared to make out the sight of his friend attempting to make a get away. “Hey dude… I’m sorry about earlier but please don’t leave.”

“Sorry?” (Y/n) tuts. “If you really loved me, you wouldn’t have rejected me you fuckin’ dimwit!”

“What else was I supposed to do?” Kaminari remained in his seat taking the rational approach compared to his series of previous half baked plans. “You were ignoring everybody, holding yourself up in your room then suddenly you’re like ‘Hey let’s have sex!’ Yeah F NO!!! I knew you weren’t okay dude. That’s why I rejected you. I didn’t reject you because I didn’t love you,” even now, Kaminari still wasn’t sure what exactly was going on through (Y/n)’s head. If his assumptions are correct, it’s all about (Y/n)’s fight with Kirishima that caused his slump but even now things still haven’t come to light.

“Dimwit…” (Y/n) frowned yet he continued to allow his back to face the blonde. “You rejected me. Period. You told me to go after Kirishima. How else was that supposed to make me feel?”

“I only told you that because I had no idea you no longer wanted to be his boyfriend.”

“Why…” (Y/n)’s chest filled with air past it’s limit and released with an overbearing sigh. “Why would I get myself attached to you if I still wanted to date Kiri?” If I didn’t like you, why would I kiss, hug, sleep and devote myself to you Kaminari? “If I never liked you in some way shape or form, I wouldn’t have agreed to be your ‘fake’ boyfriend at all.”

“You know,” Kaminari too found himself sighing. “I was pulling the same exact thing you did for Kirishima. Don’t tell me that I was leading you on, cause I never did.”

(Y/n) could feel his heart ramp up, “Same exact thing… That I did?”

Kaminari could finally meet (Y/n)’s gaze as the man peered behind himself at the blonde beauty. “The longer we dated, the less I wanted to be with Ashido in the end. I grew to love you (Y/n) but I also knew that you still had feelings for Kirishima. I was sending you his way knowing that there was a good chance that we’d never…” Throughout everything, Kaminari was having a hard time bringing himself to finish his sentence. He cursed how his heart was beating in his ears. “Knowing how great of a guy Kirishima is, I knew that there’s a slim chance you’d choose me over him…”

“You really were pulling the same stunt that I did,” (Y/n)’s heart was hurting thanks to that all too familiar feeling of handing the one you love over to someone else. Jealousy, regret, sadness, rage, everything.

“I was never leading you on (Y/n)... I really do love you. It killed me when you ran out of the room earlier crying an-and… I caused you that pain.”

“You said it yourself, I wasn’t in the right place,” (Y/n) stepped on over to Kaminari and ran his hand through Kaminari’s silky blonde locks just as he enjoyed most. “Can we just… Forget everything that happened earlier? Put a ring on our fingers and go back to normal?”

“A ring?” Kaminari smirked. “I think you’re jumping the shark a little bit.”

(Y/n)’s shoulders bobbed, “It is… But I at least wanna date you. For real. No holding back anymore. We become official-official and I’ll even step up and be the dom just like you’ve been begging me since how long ago?”

The boys laughed together, “just call me babe like you always do and maybe we can pick up where we left off earlier.”

“Oh hell yeah,” (Y/n) snickered. “Then I’ll definitely step up and be the dom.”

“Just take it easy on me dude, you know we’re both new to all of this.”

“Gay sex can’t be that much different than straight.”

“You’d be surprised…”

There you all go! Kaminari ending is done!!! Kirishima ending should be up soon and since SO MANY OF YOU keep asking for an ending where the Reader ends up with them both, I guess I’ll pull something together.
