The Journal: Tetsutetsu x Reader

Ever since the Sport's Festival, I couldn't help but notice that Kiri has been spending more time with that guy in the other Hero Class that he were CONSTANTLY going up against. You'd think Kiri would avoid the guy, they practically had the same quirk, EVEN BEAT EACH OTHER OUT COLD!!! I swear I don't understand him...

Okay, now I know that guy's name. Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu. Who would give their child the same first AND last name? Really pathetic... Anyways, it's been rather calm at home, too calm. Without Kirishima here to play games with me or for me to help with his homework, I've had a little too much time on my hands. Maybe I should make some new friends, can't have my older bro walk me through everything right?

Yeah that friend thing didn't work out, I'm too boyish for the other girls in class besides Jirou and maybe Uraraka. Even then, their friend groups were too obnoxious for me. Looks like I'm stuck to my own friend group. Would it be wrong if I asked Kirishima to give me pointers on how to handle Bakugou? Or maybe should I ask to just tag along with him whenever he hangs out with Tetsutetsu? I must be an annoying sister...

I was too chicken to ask Kiri about hanging out with Tetsutetsu. Instead I went ahead and tried to make small talk with his other best friend, Bakugou. Didn't end very well at all, Deku put him into a bad mood and he came at me. Kirishima was an awesome big bro and saved me! Afterward he told me to never bother Bakugou alone, and introduced me Tetsutetsu saying that he'd rather have me messing around with him than Bakugou. Looks like everything is playing out in my favor.

Right after the whole Bakugou incident, Kiri started bringing Tetsutetsu to our house whenever they wanted to hang to make sure I didn't feel left out. Did I come off as that desperate for attention? They don't seem to mind which is a good thing, in fact Tetsutetsu seems to like it over at our house a lot. I can see why they get along so well though, they're practically the same.

"And it goes on and on and on," Kirishima rolled his eyes as Tetsutetsu finished up reading yet another entry from your personal journal. Your book were at the very least filled to three quarters of the way, top to bottom, with one entry per page and a date at the bottom of when each were completed.

Tetsutetsu couldn't read anymore of your personal journal, closing it, pulling the elastic to keep the book closed. "Why do you read (Y/n)'s diary? It feels a bit dirty, she's your sister," Kirishima shrugged since it were a valid point, weren't going to stop him though.

"In technicality she isn't my sister," Kirishima admits not feeling guilty about invading your privacy due to your sister status like Tetsutetsu had pointed out. "Her parents died when she was like five so my family adopted her. Since then, (Y/n) has really bad night terrors and can't remember things very well so a psychologist told her to start writing down important events of every day and every dream she has, even date them. They seem to help her out cause I can't remember the last time she's had a nightmare. And (Y/n) doesn't care if I read them, just lately her journal have been all about you," that was news to Tetsutetsu. He hadn't a clue you were adopted and that leather bound notebook must've meant the world to you. There were even a box sitting beside your desk with previously filled books from over the years.

"That explains how you and (Y/n) are in the same class..." Even with that fact on the mind, more seemed to linger. "Should I read on?" Tetsutetsu was sitting on the edge between reading more of your journal or leaving it be. It was an invasion of privacy, yet at the same time you allowed Kirishima to read it which meant what they're doing was completely fine right? The fact he were the topic of this journal in particular kept his interest.

"I mean you don't need to," Kirishima shrugged. "I'm basically telling you that (Y/n) developed a crush on you. What you read was just the beginning," long story short, Kirishima was setting his sister up with his best friend. It were a thoughtful and loving gesture, yet at the same time, Kirishima could just sit this out and let Tetsutetsu and yourself come together on your own.

"I'm down with it," Tetsutetsu smirked. "I don't need to read more of it. I feel weird looking through her stuff anyways-"

"Hey Kiri!" You called, the front door to the house closed rocking the home. Kirishima's eyes went large, he smacked Tetsutetsu in the chest. "Mom and dad are working overtime so I brought home dinner!" You sang, making way for his bedroom.

"Get out!" Kirishima shoved Tetsutetsu out of your bedroom with desperation behind every swing.

"D-dude why?" Tetsutetsu activated his quirk to avoid the pain of his swings.

"I may be allowed to read her journal, doesn't mean I'm allowed to be in her room without permission."

-----

"Dude, you look like a truck hit you," Kirishima pats you on the back while you had your head rested atop the desk. You hummed to his comment, ignoring him the best as possible. Kirishima knelt down, pouting. "You were just fine when we went to school, now you're out of nowhere-"

"I didn't sleep very well..." You groaned.

Kirishima tilted his head, "huh why?"

"I lost my journal..." You sighed.

"What do you mean you lost your journal?" Kirishima felt a bead of sweat form upon his forehead. "Couldn't you just start a new one? It shouldn't affect your sleep," Me and Tetsu were reading it yesterday. I could've sworn we left it right where we found it. Oh crap... Did Tetsu accidentally take it after I kicked him out? I'm sorry (Y/n).

You picked your head up from your arms, shooting a glare at the red head that could kill him if stared at for too long. "I was too busy ripping apart my room for the journal. Also, I can't just 'start a new one' I always reflect onto my journals to help me remember everything!" At this point you were mocking your brother. That journal consisted of about 50 days worth of memories and information, you can't just forget about it and start a new one. It'd be like a blank space on the mind.

Kirishima rolled his eyes "You say that even though that entire journal is about your crush on Tet-"

You overheard him speaking under his breath "It's more than that!" You squeaked, turning a light shade of pink. "Y-yes most of it is about Tetsu, but I still have lots of precious memories and reminders in there. Like our notes from class... They're on the backsides of my Tetsu rambling..." Your cheeks were puffed out. Overly embarrassed yet also dying on the inside due to such.

"I'll look for it when we get home," Kirishima felt guilty now, just as Tetsutetsu had yesterday. He not only lost the journal but you were suffering mentally because of it. This'll be a problem...

"Thank you," you eased, but not by all that much. You did sneak a nap in before, during, and after class, which gave Kirishima all the time he needed to set things back to normal. The second that bell rang to signal the end of the school day, Kirishima bolted right out the doors to the classroom and skidded to a halt just before the other Hero Class.

Kendo poked Tetsutetsu on the shoulder just as he stood up from his desk to collect his belongings. "I think your friend needs you," she pointed at the door of the classroom, Kirishima's panicked face filled the window on the door.

"Okay," Tetsutetsu shrugged, throwing his bag over his shoulder. The students filed out, and Kirishima snatched Tetsutetsu, dragging him off to the side. "What's up bro?" He asked all so casually.

"Problem!" Kirishima was sweating profusely. "Did you take (Y/n)'s journal? She's a mess right now!"

"Calm down bro! I only took it because you kicked me out of the house before I could give it back," Tetsutetsu dug through his bag, almost immediately pulling out your leather bound journal and held it out for the terrified redhead. "How's (Y/n) doing then? She's normally calm about everything but if you're saying she's a mess then-" A loud gasp interrupted the white haired male. Tetsutetsu and Kirishima both turned to find you standing a few feet away with your mouth agape and those baby doll eyes watering up.

"W-Why'd you take it?" You backed away slowly, it were clear you no longer had an interest in taking the journal back into possession.

Tetsutetsu choked on his words for a second, never had he ever seen you so terrified. He turned and offered the book back to you for a second time. "I didn't read a thing," that was a lie. He knew he were a horrible liar and you saw right through it. Because Tetsutetsu were left in charge of your book of personal secrets and such for one night, he went ahead and read it from where he left off. The curiosity was killing him, Tetsutetsu had to know what you felt for him and gained what he wanted after an hour of dedication and vivid reading. It were like every entry you wrote, he re-lived that day with you.

Like the day Kirishima introduced you both hand in hand, Kirishima was taking care of Bakugou, making sure the blonde doesn't explode anymore than he already has. Tetsutetsu took it upon himself to make sure you were alright, mentally and physically. That attack really shook you up. You even went as far as to ask for a hug, needing comfort more than anything else. How could Tetsutetsu ignore your request? He opened up his arms and you latched out for him, Tetsutetsu hissed feeling your fingernails dig into the flesh of his back. So he activated his metal quirk, you could still feel the warmth of his body even despite the transformation. Everything went fine, a memory that never fled his memory let alone your own for a girl with dementia.

"Like hell you didn't read my book," you shivered, wiping a tear that fled the corner of your eye. "How did you even get it in the first place? You know it's mostly about you Tetsu..."

Tetsutetsu pointed at your brother with large eyes, "he showed it to me yesterday."

"C'mon Bro thanks for selling me out!" Kirishima whined.

"Kiri!" You gasped, throwing a punch at Kirishima's face who gladly took it like a man, he deserved it After all. Your fist stung, imagine if you punched him and the quirk was on.

This was a normal, never would Kirishima activate his quirk towards you. Tetsutetsu has witnessed this scene easily dozens of times, sibling have their differences after all. Tetsutetsu offered the journal to you for a third time now, you took it this time around, not willingly though. "Go ahead," Tetsutetsu knelt down, bowing his head. "I deserve a punch too. I read your book without permission so give me your all..." You blinked, stalling like a scratched up disc in a game system. Not even a second later you uppercut the boy right in the jaw! Just for a pained whine to shake your chest.

"OW!" You jumped holding your hand. "No fair your quirk was on!"

"Actually," Tetsutetsu choked out. "It wasn't... And you got me right in the throat," he held his neck, eyes squeezed to a tight close.

"Omg I'm so sorry," you whimpered struggling to find some way to aid him.

"I'll be fine knowing if we're okay again. And, for your information, I liked you even before reading your journal," you remained quiet, turning twenty shades of red. Tetsutetsu can just imagine he'd be the topic of your journal for months maybe even years to come.
