YAS!!! Kingdom Hearts Re Mind was released today. I prepared this update just for the occassion since it's been a year since KH3 came out. I'm so pumped, I literally got myself a KH tattoo almost a month ago. I've been following this series since I was five, approx. 14 Years. Great game series, highly recommend especially if you're a fan of Disney and Final Fantasy.

This update will talk about the MHA characters that are similar to Kingdom Heart characters. I have kept spoilers to a minimum, just in case any of you are playing/watching the series as we speak or plan to. However there are still spoilers so keep that in mind. The spoilers are really vague so you shouldn't have to worry about a thing.

Midoriya as Sora

Yeah, well all saw this one coming. The optimistic Sora is the less socially awkward Midoriya. Sora, the main character to most of the Kingdom Hearts series, is basically the ‘chosen one’ who always inevitably defeated evil much like how Midoriya has won every single fight he’s fought except for one which was against Todoroki. (Keep that in mind because This and Shoto’s entry tie in together). Sora and Midoriya have their rivals that they ultimately turn for the better through friendship alone. They also hold much more power over their peers as well as hold the ability to become friends with almost each and every person they meet. Like honestly, it’s really scary how easily they make friends. I’d also like to point out how Sora was knocked off the ladder quite a few times throughout his series and had to climb back up(Forgetting everything between KH1 & KH2 and being stripped of his powers in DDD). Midoriya too was knocked off the ladder quite a few times with his broken bones proving to be horrible obstacles to the point he had to completely change his fighting style. Let’s also not forget that Sora and Midoriya have that special someone that they love (Kairi and Uraraka) but Sora is one step ahead of Midoriya as he already has the girl.

Todoroki as Riku

This entry was previously mentioned on the part MHA x Disney but that explanation was really poor so here is an updated entry. Riku is Sora's rival and a respected Keyblade Master. Todoroki's introduction to the series painted him out to become a bad guy because he was drowning in anger and pressure from his own father resulting in Shoto to turn to competition and ultimately being a jackass to just about anyone who stood in his way. Same goes for Riku. Riku is very competitive and he even turned villain for an entire game because Sora was prioritizing others over himself. (Imagine your best friend going out and trying to save his own crush over you, his best friend, when you're in the same amount of trouble, if not more than the crush in question.) It took much determination from the likes of Sora and Midoriya to break Shoto and Riku out of their villainous ways and that's when Riku and Shoto become mirrors of each other. When Shoto and Riku turned hero, they found themselves treasuring Sora and Midoriya more than themselves and pulled ahead of the main characters. They both can be slow and awfully pessimistic but their bravery and determination makes up for such.

Kirishima as Axel

This entry was previously mentioned on MHA x Lookalikes & Video Games therefore, you're not gonna miss anything in this entry. But as always, I will still gladly explain their similarities.
Axel, who also goes by the name Lea, is a former member of Organization 13. Axel was a fiery wildcard in the Organization who prioritized his own schedule and friends over work. Right off the bat, Axel and Kirishima are practically twins as they both have fiery red spiky hair, similar facial structure, height and muscular body type. Their color schemes are red and black too. Personality wise, once again, pretty darn similar. Both Kirishima and Axel are strong spirited, playful and treasure their friend(s) above all else. Somehow, they both have that one blonde best friend who is pretty crotchety and violent so Axel and Kirishima are the angel to their devil. Lastly, both Axel and Kirishima went out and put themselves into a risky situation in order to save their best friend knowing full and well they'll most likely die. (Axel taking on hordes of Nobodies and dying for Roxas' sake and Kirishima entering a deadly battle between All for One and All Might for Bakugou)

Bakugou as Roxas

Once again, previously mentioned on MHA x Lookalikes but that entry was poor so I have a better written one here.
Roxas is Sora's Nobody and the former & final member of Organization 13 as No. 13. While Shoto is Riku, Bakugou is Roxas: Sora's Nobody. When someone dies, their heart and body split apart creating a Heartless and a Nobody. A Nobody is the mind and body of a deceased individual, an empty husk if you must as they aren't supposed to feel love and happiness. Roxas entered the world as a 'zombie' according to Axel since Roxas rarely spoke, showed any emotion and constantly questioned his existence. Later, when his personality was beginning to develop, he became ungodly strong as well as began taking on a welcoming and healthy relationship with Axel and a sour hateful one with just about everyone else, even his original self: Sora. Sound mighty familiar right? Bakugou has only ever shown Kirishima any sort of sign of friendship and remains cold towards everyone else. Bakugou remains on top of the class physically and academically and just like how Roxas is the dark side to Sora, Bakugou is the darker side of Midoriya. Lastly, their hair is the same.

Kaminari as Demyx

This entry was previously mentioned on MHA x Videogames and honestly, I just copied and pasted with minor edits.
Demyx is the somewhat childish and lovable yet air headed member of Organization 13 with a notable love for music. His signature weapon is a huge sitar that allows him to control water. Demyx acts like the child of the Organization (even more than Axel if that says anything) whose always on the shorter end of the stick when it comes to matters big boss Xemnas doesn't want to deal with. It really reminds me of how Bakugou tends to bully around Kaminari and how his literal nickname is 'Dunce Face' because Kaminari is a bit of an air head too alongside Demyx. Kaminari is a bit of a flirt and if Demyx could be able to love then Demyx too would be a flirt and love. I've seen so many fanart of Kaminari playing musical instruments as well as Kaminari's Hero uniform representing that of music leading me to believe Kaminari is a huge fan of music.
Two lovable bubble headed idiots who love music. Can't go wrong with that! Imagine if these two got together to play music and merge attacks. It’d be an electro water music spectacular!

Dabi as Xigbar

Xigbar, formerly known as Braig, is the big Number 2 of Organization 13. He’s known for being a gunslinger with an attitude as that attitude of his cost him an eye and that scar on his face. Dabi and Xigbar’s smartass mouths, body language and mysterious past are pretty reminiscent of each other which is why I feel they’re similar. While we do have theories on Dabi’s past, Xigbar however remained mysterious and we still don’t know his past  or true intentions. (Well actually we do, but I don’t want to throw in spoilers, it’s really vague and ties into the game that was released today.) Dabi and Xigbar aren’t afraid to backstab, edge people on, crack jokes be it for fun or to insult others and most importantly they have their own set of beliefs on heroes that make them both unique and one in the same

Shinsou as Terra

Terra (Gosh it’s so hard to describe him without spoiling everything!!!) is a strength driven keyblade user in training who never reached master status despite how hard he tried. Shinsou’s potential to become a hero was squandered time and time again because he had a ‘villainous’ quirk leaving him desperate to prove everyone wrong. Like Shinsou, Terra sort of fell behind his peers when it came to school because everyone thought he had the potential to become a villain. These assumptions came to as Terra always prefered strength over skill and we all know that when you want power you become thirsty for more and more power until you’re the strongest and yeah, that’s a sign of bad potential. Shinsou and Terra both did eventually find mentors that took them in and were taught in their ways. However, Shinsou and Terra refused to become bad and remained strong spirited heroes despite everything being thrown their way.

Tokoyami as Ansem

I think this one is pretty self explanatory lol. Ansem is the very first villain of the Kingdom Hearts series as he is Xehanort’s Heartless. Ansem likes to refer to himself as the ‘Seeker of Darkness’ who also has a shadowy familiar strapped to his backside who is quite simply named Guardian. Tokoyami loves darkness, has the dark vibe and tries to make everything dark if possible. Also, Tokoyami has Dark Shadow who acts as his personal familiar just like Guardian to Ansem. Lastly, their deep menacing voices. They sound the same to me and you can’t change my mind.

Momo as Aqua

Aqua is the very first keyblade master, timeline wise, in the Kingdom Hearts Series. Aqua is very selfless as throughout her playable gameplay she was almost always chasing after her troubled friends in order to lend them a hand. Momo and Aqua are very strong girls who shouldn’t be underestimated who also double as the sweetest girls you could ever meet. Really though, Aqua had this very motherly vibe going for her and Momo has that same vibe, or at least in my eyes I think so. Momo always knows the perfect thing to say, she’s always concerned for others and I find it cute and mother-like whenever she conjures up that one item that is perfect for the person or situation at hand (Like that time she gave Tsu a blanket). Not to forget that Aqua and Momo have this weird fixation/respect for a male character in their respected series. Momo was proven to have a thing for Shoto while Terra is almost always on Aqua’s mind. (Any Aqua x Terra shippers out there?)

Mr. Compress as Luxord

Luxord, a member of Organization 13 as No. 10, is a magical time bending gambler. Compress and Luxord have a really formal and sophisticated way of speaking not to forget their attacks/attack styles are one in the same. As mentioned, Compress and Luxord have a thing for magic/sleight of hand. Compress, as his name suggests, can ‘compress’ anything into small marbles and play tricks on his opponents by making them guess which marble holds the captured person in question. Luxord does the exact same except with playing cards and dice. He’ll trap a person within a card or dice, shuffle them up, and force the person who is saving the captive to figure out which card holds the captive. If the rescuer mistakes a card for their friend/wrong card the rescuer too gets injured. Not to forget that these two are both villains and never redeemed themselves as good guys.

Mei Hatsume as Vexen

Vexen, formerly known as Even, is No. 4 of Organization 13. He is a scientist who practically dedicated his entire life to science and he turned to some pretty extreme measures to test out his findings which ultimately resulted in his initial death. (Yeah, like literally nobody in this game series dies for good) It is Hatsume and Vexen’s pure dedication to science and selfish view on just about everyone that has me ranking them together. Vexen was putting his own pupils at risk for the sake of science while Hatsume was using everyone as a means for personal gain when it came to her inventions. Although, I’ll admit, Vexen is an annoying shit sometimes while Hatsume’s geeky personality is playful and ultimately bearable.

Aizawa as Saïx 

Saïx, also goes by Isa, is a former Organization 13 member who was always motivated by loyalty and his own anger. Saïx is and always was viewed as the second in charge for his sheer loyalty and remains a huge stickler for the rules. Aizawa is a teacher who too is a huge stickler for rules, known as being one of the strictest teachers around. and is quite a loyal fellow. For both Saïx and Aizawa, one you piss them off you really can't go back on their word. Also, apparently in Saïx's bio nothing can calm him down besides the moon which to me reminds me of how Aizawa loves his sleep more than anything.

Hope you all liked this update. I had fun with it. Not sure what MHA x character crossover is next but eh, only the future knows. Next update will either be a Bakugou x Reader for a ref winner or a Midoriya x Reader since I had an idea for an adult AU.
