Biology: Bakugou x Reader Part 1

Day 5 of x Reader Week.

"I've taken notice that some of you in class don't get along all so well with one another," Aizawa began the class with that statement. As expected, almost every student in class 1. A took a turn of their body, be it their entire body or just a twist of the head, towards the straight A student with messy blonde hair and crimson eyes spare for his two only friends Kirishima and Kaminari.

His name was Katsuki Bakugou, he comes off as the most destructive and heartless boy in the class if you haven't met him face to face before. He curses, he destroys, he intentionally starts fight; those may be the true but his better characteristics cancel out those facts leaving him to be a better man than most. Bakugou follows all rules, gets straight A's, willingly puts his own life on the line if it meant saving another in need. Even then, most don't look past his proclaimed 'bad boy' exterior...

"Quit staring at me if you know what's good for you," Bakugou threatened his classmates with a clenched jaw to grind his sharp pearly teeth. Upon request, most of the class returned their attention to their teacher who was annoyed greatly that his students thought so low of their rising star.

"Let's begin our class exercise..." Aizawa spoke up, grabbing at a sheet of paper upon his desk. The sheet was an off white compared to the white chrome of his computer monitor yet there was so much chicken scratch strewn across the page that next to no white peered through. The writing was primarily pencil, spare for a long list occupying the right side of the page in dull red ink that stood out like a traffic cone on a black asphalt road. "You all be randomly paired in teams of two for one week..." Aizawa lied one hand atop a large case of gunmetal silver that stood upon the face of his desk. The chest refused to open to just anyone as it had a fingerprint lock right where both sides of the chest conjoined to a close. "You and your partner will be bound to each other for the entirety of a week-"

"Do we get to choose our partners?" Midoriya uneasily asked without bothering to raise his hand for permission to speak. Bakugou was the last person he wants to be bound together with for a week. The blonde would happily commit murder during that time, and Midoriya doesn't want to be the victim.

"The purpose of this exercise is to determine if you want to be a hero who tackles crime in pairs like sidekicks. This'll help you decide if you want to start working alone or have a partner. Just like your fall exams I will be deciding your partners taking into account many different factors," Aizawa killed two birds with one stone. Midoriya felt uneasy, he'll be partnered up with Kacchan no doubt. They've barely made up since then, and he remains to be Bakugou's victim in everything.

Aizawa pressed his thumb to the electronic face of the lock on the steel case. It opened with a pop within the second revealing it to be filled to the brim with rounded silver bands, two in each set. "You have a five feet clearance. The bands are electromagnetically paired together and will only kick in once you exceed your limit... Now, to begin with the pairs," Aizawa spoke off the pairs, requiring them to sit next to their partner once informed. Most of the pairs were practically the same as the pairs from the exam, the only differences made this time around was that male and female pairs were uncommon and so far only Tsu and Tokoyami were the only male female pair. Some other teams consisted of Oijiro and Iida, Kirishima and Kaminari, Sero and Mineta, Momo and Jiro, and the most surprising was that Midoriya had a new partner this time around as he was paired with Todoroki. Which left dread as that meant someone else was stuck with Bakugou...

"Bakugou you will be paired with (Y/n)."

"What!?" Bakugou kicked his seat out from behind slamming his hands upon the desk. "Why am I paired with cat bitch!" The blonde turned to you suddenly, his eyes blazing with flames. You folded your perky canine ears down, glancing the opposite direction refusing to comment on the arrangement.

"She's not a cat today Bakugou," Kirishima glared at his friend.

"Fine she's a mutt," Bakugou corrects his own self with yet another degrading nickname towards you and you alone.

"Out of everyone in the class you haven't spoken to (Y/n) once. Therefore this will be your time to know each other better-" You raised your hand suddenly, Aizawa acknowledged you with a nod of his head.

"The class is uneven and I really shouldn't be paired with anyone because of my quirk. I ask kindly that you rethink this decision," it's bad enough you have to wear latex gloves for every second of every day to prevent you quirk from activating and affecting innocent people, and now you have to basically be handcuffed to a classmate for a week straight. This is a very bad idea...

"I appreciate your concern (Y/n)," Aizawa began. "But my decision stands."

"Crap..." You frowned, holding out your wrist as the teacher clasped a silver band around your wrist. The bangle form fitted itself to the limb for a snug fit. Bakugou dodged Aizawa multiple times, being as uncooperative as always, until Aizawa used his scarves to capture the blonde and forced the band onto him. Bakugou's band as well as your own illuminated a ghostly green as they paired together, and with the two of you on opposite sides of the classroom, an electric rope connected the two of you and forced you to be manually dragged towards the bigger being until the five foot limit was achieved and the bind disappeared. You were experimental and took a few steps back to test out the boundaries. At four feet away the green rope reappeared and ready to act.

This week will be... Fun.

"Hurry up god damn it!!!" Bakugou exceeded the limits of the electromagnetic band, you watched as the band around your wrist illuminated to its ghostly electric green color and the rope magically stretched from your band to Bakugou's. Pretty soon Bakugou were so far ahead, you were dragged behind as expected. Your heart began to pace, digging your heels into the floor like an instinct. The high pitched squeaky noise of your sneakers flooded the hallways, causing many heroes in training to force hands to their tortured piercing ears.

"Hey!" You growled, trying to fight against his influence but fell through. "I still haven't gotten my bag from my locker!"

"Well forget it!" Bakugou stomped, marching over to where you struggled. With the blonde within five feet in range, the force pulling at your wrist diminished. You fell backwards... "I'm already pissed off about this assignment as it is, but I'm not going to put up with your whiny dog ass either," Bakugou made his point clear as he grabbed you harshly by your sleeve, throwing you back upon your feet. However, Bakugou sighed out of the blue, slinging his backpack from his backside to his hands. "Forget about your damn bag. I already have mine. If anything I'll do the class homework and let you copy since you have to put up with my crap," a sort of sweet compromise. On a rare occasion Bakugou was this nice, and now you were technically the closest female to Bakugou within the class.

"Um, thank you," you wore a shallow smile. Maybe this week won't be as bad as you originally thought.

"Now lets leave!" Bakugou was back to his jerky self within the second much to your dismay. Once again, you were back to your usual resistance, tugging away in an attempt to overpower Bakugou's beastly strength.

"But we never decided who's room we're be crashing at!" You cried. Now way in hell are you sharing Bakugou's room.

"Mine!" Bakugou snapped.

"H-hey I never got a say!"

"Want to fight me bitch!?"

"Ah... I remember when we had to do this exercise," Mirio wore a smug smile as he watched the two underclassmen argue left and right.

"Worst week of my life..." Tamaki sighed.

"Huh?" Mirio cocked a brow. "But we were coincidentally stuck together."

"Yes I remember..." Tamaki's head hung low. "But every time you used your quirk the band fell off and we got in a lot of trouble..."

The rest of the day wasn't exactly cooperative. Just as Bakugou said, he dragged you to his dorm room and showed no signs on letting up from his decision. You were left with no choice but to succumb to his absolute power and sit in silence as he worked on the homework given from today. It was such a mistake to take on the form of a dog today, your patience was at it's all time low, you had to play or do something, anything.

"Do you have anything I can do?" You begged the male with a sigh.

"Just sit there and look pretty you damn furry," Bakugou grumbled without even glancing at you.

"Don't call me a furry," you deeply growled.

"Then what do you call your dog ears and tail and petty behavior?" Bakugou had the nerve to yank at the tail of bushy brown fur wagging at your behind. You yelped just as a dog would, just to turn around bite the male on the arm in return as if on instinct. Bakugou hissed, unlatching your jaw from his arm with great struggle and pulling at the hairs on your head. "You fucking bit me!" He shouted, throwing you across the room and took him with thanks to the paired bracelet. Bakugou landed on atop of you rendering you motionless. "What the hell is wrong with you? We're human not savages!" Bakugou remained over you, refusing to allow you freedom as such a decision might just get him injured more.

"You pulled my tail, I bite back," you whimpered, head pinned to the floor.

"You're a furry, just accept it," Bakugou won't refrain from the name calling.

"I'm not a furry it's just my quirk!"

"What about these gloves, they part of your quirk too," fear had ravaged your body once Bakugou snatched you by one wrist and peeled the clear latex glove from over your hand.

"I wouldn't do that!" You warned, a drop of sweat rolling down your face.

"As if you quirk is that dangerous-" Bakugou's hand brushed over your own, freezing in response. He pulled his hand away within the instant, hopping off your form to hunch over upon the floor. His body began to elevate in heat, as if his blood was boiling and cooking from the inside out. "W-What the hell!?" Bakugou grunted, slamming palms to the side of his head as a skull splitting pain pierced his brain. You sat back and watched with delight as the boy was getting a taste of his own medicine. The pain will wear off momentarily, more of a reason why you enjoyed his suffering as much as you were. Two tufts of pale yellow hair formed at the sides of Bakugou's head, another at his behind just before where his sagging pants sat upon his hips. That's when all the pain had diminished, leaving Bakugou exhausted and struggling to his feet with a new sense of smell and most of the color in the world dulled to blacks, whites, and pastels.

"What the hell just happened to me?" Bakugou was visually trembling, his hands couldn't stop shaking and it looked as if he was about to pass out. You jumped to your feet, catching the boy just as he fell forward like a dead weight.

"Don't say I didn't warn you," you sighed, lying the boy down upon his bed.

"Don't ignore me," Bakugou had just enough energy to grab at the collar of your uniform.

"Whatever animal I last touched is what I become," you held up your bare hand. "I pet Koda's dog this morning therefore I'm part dog."

"But what does this have to do with me?" He neglected to understand.

You manually unhinged Bakugou's grip from your shirt. "Unless I take safety precautions, whoever I touch with my bare hands also become the animal I last touched," you watched as Bakugou's crimson eyes went large to your words. "Hope you enjoy being a dog for the next twenty four hours," Bakugou grunted as you invaded his space, stroking the soft pointed ears atop his head. You just had to pet him, payback for everything else he's done to upset you today. Luckily he didn't have the energy to fight back.

"Transforming takes it out of you," you finally retracted from Bakugou's fluffy ears. "You'll be unable to move for a few hours. Again... I'm sorry. Though you brought this upon yourself so why am I apologizing?" Still, you wear gloves for a reason and Bakugou had to suffer the consequences. The fact that you hurt him with your quirk alone left a bad taste in your mouth, the satisfaction of him getting his karma nowhere near matched your guilt.

An hour later, you took it upon yourself to finish Bakugou's homework since he was still recovering from the transformation. Luckily he had the homework halfway finished and now you can copy it for yourself for tomorrow's lesson. Still hurts that Bakugou was zoning in and out, you can't even remember the last time you transformed someone else into a hybrid which means the effects on others was next to foreign for yourself. Then again it's not like you touched a rat or monkey, a dog is extremely different than that to their human counterparts. Bakugou had to grow a set of ears and tail, gain increased sense of hearing, smelling, and dulled eyesight. Not to forget that this quirk also alters the target mentally, explaining why you bit Bakugou's arm on instinct. Which in Bakugou's case might not be all that bad. Dogs are naturally loyal and loving, this transformation might just be what you need in order to deal with this blonde tyrant for the next seven days.

"It's late Katsuki, there's no way around it we're sharing the bed," you smiled gently at the blonde, sitting atop his plush bed. His crimson eyes never left your form, he still must be holding a grudge from earlier. Again, he brought this onto himself and shouldn't be mad at you. But oh well, he'll get over this eventually.

"You're sleeping on the floor..." Bakugou let an animalistic growl vibrate from his chest with bared teeth. Upon this realization, Bakugou stopped his actions with shock. He was part dog for sure.

"I'm not sleeping on the floor," you pout.

"Dogs sleep on the floor. Leave me alone Furry," yup, he's still holding a grudge.

"Would it really hurt for you to be nice to me? And hope you realize that you have no power over me right now, you can't even move a muscle! If anything I can kick you onto the floor and sleep in the bed," you crossed your arms with a playful smirk. To prove your statements wrong, Bakugou attempted to move, anything, even a finger would suffice, but nope. He could only move his eyes and mouth. "Can I please sleep in the bed Bakugou? If you seriously don't want me to I can at least cover you with a sheet or something," at this point you gave in. It's Bakugou's room afteral, and it's his rules. He's stubborn as hell.

You expected Bakugou to turn you down right out from the gate, instead he lied there in deep thought. Was he actually thinking about letting you sleep with him? "I guess..." He huffed. "No sense in dragging around deadweight tomorrow if you couldn't sleep."

"Oh! Oh thank you!" You perked up.

"Wait..." Bakugou blinked rapidly. "Are you wearing my clothes?"

"U-Um... Yeah," your lips pressed into a line. "Only because you can't move and I needed night clothes," at the moment you were wearing a pair of Bakugou's sweatpants, the drawstring pulled to it's tightest, and a really baggy t-shirt of his.

"Oh whatever... Fair enough," Bakugou gave in as well. Much to your delight, there was no more bickering. You flipped the alarm switch on the digital alarm clock and turned out the lights. The moon peering in through the curtains provided minimal lighting as you crawled upon the bed, making yourself comfortable over Bakugou's limp body. Your body blanketed onto his comfortingly warm body, melting into every curve, resting your head upon his chest with two hands that found his canine ears once again.

Whenever you're a dog, you feel the absolute need to curl up against something or someone, and since you didn't have your body pillow on hand, Bakugou will substitute. Bakugou wasn't on the same page. "Bitch-"

"Why yes I technically am a bitch," you snickered.

"Bitch!" Bakugou repeated. "Get off me!"

"Just deal with it," you yawned. "You've treated me horribly all day... It's the least you can do."

"Fine..." Bakugou was stunned by how easily he gave in. Something about you lying on him felt all so nice and comforting. This must be how dogs feel whenever they sleep with one another. To be with their own kind and be there for the other, a sense of belonging Bakugou has never felt before. No, this is just the quirk talking but he cannot deny how unwilling he was to interrupt you. Therefore no other words were shared. The steady intakes and outtakes of breath left his nostrils in a peaceful fashion. Soon enough, you too were being embraced by the arms of Sandman.
