My life is a lie...

My jerk of a father signed Sound and I up to leave on an internship than to actually work. Well it was more like relaxing than working. Plus he picked the heroes too, so we couldn't go to the same one. Saying something like 'These heroes specialize in your weaknesses, they'll help you get stronger.' Which ended up with me being signed over to working with Endeavor. Sound ended up getting Fat Gum sadly. So I'm stuck alone dealing with Icy-Hot and Flame-On.

I go to the train station with the other members of the class, making sure to say goodbye to Sound. I go onto my train and see Midoriya and Iida there as well. "(Y/n), I thought you and Sound was staying behind to continue your hero work." Midoriya questions as I walk over and sit next to them. "Sensi signed me up to go work with a hero that specializes in my weaknesses." I sigh out blankly. "Why did you just call your father sensi?" Iida asks, joining in on the conversation. "Cause a dad wouldn't torture their kid like this." I reply, already feeling most of my energy leave my body.

We continue the small talk until the trained got to our station. From there I disappeared into the crowd without a word, heading onto my own path. I read my direction on how to get to his office building. I put the directions away and head on inside. I go in and deal with the people at the front. They kindly direct me to his office, where he'll meet me. I go through the building and towards the office. I see Todoroki standing beside the door frame. "Hey Todoroki." I say simply, walking past him and into the office.

Once I step in I immediately lock eyes with Endeavor. "Copy Cut here and reporting for duty, sir." I say while standing in proper posture. Obviously it's not my first time dealing with the boss of these hero places. He simply grunts and goes to walk past me. "Just don't slow us down." With that statement he opens the door and walks out. I follow behind him, making sure not to get by the doors. The air felt dense. It was quite obvious that the father and son duo had a lot of problems. 'I can't believe I have to stay with these two for a week...' I think to myself. Glad that I at least get to get away from them when I go back to my hotel room.

We walk out of the office building and onto the streets. We just walk around patroing for an hour or two, nothing really happening. It was mostly because Endeavor had a meeting to get to at the office. Which just ended with Todoroki and I awkwardly sitting together in chair's outside of Endeavor's office. I get on my phone, hoping that someone would be on. Sadly though, unlike me, they're actually doing things.

"Why did you come here?" Todoroki speaks up. I put my phone away in my side pouch, and turn to look at him. "My old man made me." I shrug it off. "Where are you staying at then?" He tries to keep the conversation alive. It's a little obvious that he wasn't used to this though. He must have been super bored too. "I'm staying at a nearby hotel for a week." He nods at my statement, he goes back to looking straight ahead.

"We should go do something instead of just waiting here." He gets up from the chair. I shrug and follow his lead, since there wasn't really anything else to do. "Let's go train." With that simple statement he starts walking away from me. "This office has one?" I catch up to him, but instead of walking next to him I walk a little bit behind. He leads us down a hall that had doors instead of the usual rooms just full of cubicles and desks. Which was basically every room except Endeavor's office.Todoroki goes all the way down the hallway and opens the door to the right.

I go and close the door behind me and see a training room. It was an average looking one, it was mostly empty though. It had a few weights on a rack that was against the wall, and a punching bag near them. "You sure this place will withstand your quirk?" He merely nods again, walking further in. I swear I've seen him nod more than talk ever.

He turns around and stands there. "Ready?" I nod at his question, already ready for his ice. Just as I predicted his ice shoots at me. I draw some thick ice up from the ground and stopped it. My skin starts to tint blue as my hair gets engulfed in fire. My genetic components have already adapted to withstand his quirks. I run out and erase his quirk. He runs over and goes to throw a punch, but i grab his arm and flip him. I send ice out right when he hits the ground and trap him.

"I think this round went to me." I smirk while he glared. Heavy footsteps come closer to the room. I deactivate my quirk quickly, and Todoroki melts his way out of the ice. The door opens to show Endeavor. "Which one of you won?" His gruff voice looms over us. "Todoroki surprised me and was able to blind me. I went down quickly after that." I lie easily, making it sound like I wasn't too happy about it. "Well there's nothing else for you two to do today. I'm busy with stuff neither you two could join me on." Endeavor walks out and I turn to face Todoroki.

"Why did you lie?" Like usual he was emotionless, I couldn't really get that much of a read on him. "It's obvious that you and your dad have problems. He would of pushed you even harder. I have more experience, so it isn't really that fair." I explain, I see a small smile appear on his face a bit but it disappears quickly. "I'm going to leave and probably explore a bit." I pull my phone out and check the time. It was only in the mid-late afternoon.

I go to a bathroom and change out of my hero costume quickly. I pack it up in my gym bag and walk out of the building. I pull up my directions to the hotel on my phone. 'I wonder if I can do something as revenge to my dad while I'm here?' I think, trying to entertain myself through the walk.
