Back to Normal?

Finally, these darn internships are over. I thought the awkwardness would never end between Endeavor and Todorki. If you think being a third wheel while the couple is fighting is awkward then multiply that by 100, and you'll have what I went through.

I walk over to Sound and I's meeting spot that we usually head over to, so we can walk to school together. It's weird but I'm suddenly becoming social and I don't like it, I got my low social battery from my dad after all. When I arrived at our spot, I could already see him there waiting for me. "Yo! How did your torture go?" He pipes up, which makes me shiver at the thought. "Never again. Also, we can't leave our classmates alone because I swear all three of the ones I saw during it only shared one brain cell." I remark, causing him to laugh a bit. "Yeah, I totally heard what happened over there, I didn't know about our classmates being involved though? You gonna spill the tea sis?" He slings an arm around my shoulders while smirking.

We start our route towards the school, and eventually, I get the clingy guy off of me. "You know I can't do that. Especially when a lot of things are hidden from the public. We're just lucky that no government agents got involved." Sound shivers at my words and nods quickly. "Yeah, I remember them.  I wouldn't mind not ever seeing them again though, mostly her though." I chuckle a bit at his antics, I forgot how scared he was over that girl. To be fair though she was crazy strong. "With a good therapist, we will hopefully forget about it."  We both laugh out loud, stopping outside the gates as we almost fall over from laughter.

After a few minutes, we finally recover from our laugh season and make our way into the building. "So aren't things kinda normal now? We have like nothing hero related for quite some time other than training." I nod at his words, silently hoping that meant a small break for us. We head into the classroom, and I got immediately to my seat.

"(Y/n)!" I turn my head and see Midoriya, IIda, and Todoroki heading towards me. "Hey guys, good to see that you three are alright." I nod at them while staring up towards them. "We just wanted to thank you for everything back there." Midoriya says while the other two nod. "Yes, thank you for help stopping me and your encouraging words," Iida says, man, he must feel really bad about that whole thing. "It's only the truth, now we shouldn't discuss it any further. You three have already caused me enough trouble this month." They nod, Midoriya and Iida leave, but Yodoroki stays behind. "What is it Todoroki?" I question, wondering why he didn't leave with his friends. "I wanted to apologize for what you had to deal with during the internship. My father and I don't have the best relationship and I saw it caused you discomfort as well." I raise an eyebrow immediately at Todoroki's words, I wasn't expecting an apology at all. Heck, I didn't even think this kid picked up on how other people feel through body language. "It's fine, I just didn't want to get into your family business." I smile a bit, hoping it would ease his worries. Of all the times I could have used an extrovert, this was the time. "No, it's not okay. How about I make it up to you after school? We can go get some cold soba or something." I nod my head a bit and agree, because who doesn't like free food. That seemed to have satisfied him, and he left for his seat.

After a couple of minutes of everyone else talking about their internships, the bell finally rang. Causing everyone to sit in their seats, right before my dad walks in. Classes continued normally, which allowed me to zone off. Eventually, it was lunchtime, and like normal, I went to go eat in the teacher's office. You can't really blame me since who wants to be near annoying, loud kids anyway. oh wait present Mic is in there, maybe I should rethink this. I go into the teacher's offices and sit down at my dad's desk. "No." I turn to see my dad staring down at me. "You can't do this to me, I wouldn't hurt you like this," I state while trying to plead my case.  "You can't keep eating in here, I need to get some of my work done." I raise an eyebrow at him, knowing the truth. "Don't you mean sleep?" He sighs and rubs his eyes. "At least go eat in the teacher's lounge then." I get up happily, glad that I won. "Thank you dad, your the best," I claim while walking past him.

I go to the teacher's lounge with my bento in hand. This is going to be great no annoying kids or president Mic, just me. I open the door and see All Might and Midoriya sitting down and having lunch together. "And then the transferring quirk were fused..." All Might said right before noting me. They both froze immediately, pailing a bit. "So that's why you both have similar quirks. You passed it onto Midoriya huh, All Might." I step in and close the door behind me. "W-what would give that idea young Aizawa." All Might says quickly, too quickly. "I'm not stupid. I literally just walked in when you said something about a transferring quirk. Plus you both have highly similar quirks, and fighting styles if someone didn't constantly break his bones all the time. It would explain why you seem to focus more on Midoriya when it comes to students and their progress as well." I sit down on the third couch while I rant, opening up my bento box. "I honestly couldn't care less about it, but I will keep your secret if I can keep eating here. I rather tone just two people out than a whole cafeteria." I start to eat quietly. "Thank you (y/n). It'll be nice to have someone to talk to about this sort of thing." Midoriya pipes up while smiling, I just nod in response.

It must be strange for him though, having to go through who knows what and not be able to tell anyone. I guess I could be a good 'friend' and hear him out every now and then. It also doesn't help that I'm a pro hero as well, so I can see it in both stances in a way.

All Might and Midoriya continue on with their conversation, while I'm lost in my own little world of thoughts. Sadly though my peace and quiet came to an end once again when classes started back up. Of course, that didn't stop me from zoning out except for a certain topic that I hated. "Summer is coming up, and it would be irrational for you all to have a whole month off so we'll be doing a summer training camp." Oh, my dad just said my worse fears. Being stuck with everyone for a month. Goodbye my social battery, see you after summer so we can recharge.  I can't even hideout in the woods since my dad will be there. Oh, what a great way to think about summer.

The bell soon rings after dad's announcements, freeing us from the child prison. Todoroki walks over to my desk. "Let's go enjoy some cold Soba." I nod and grab my bag. "Sure, I never had it before." This causes him to look at me like I'm crazy. "Look, you can now show me which soba is the best one. It's a win-win."
