(Many Years ago)

Enji: How pathetic can you be!

We see a young Shoto kneeling on the floor while coughing from the extreme training that his father forced him to do in hopes for him to be the number one hero in the future.

Enji stood over him, looking down at him with disappointment only for someone to rush over and bend down to Shoto and that person was his mother.

Rei: Shoto, are you okay?! Enji how could you do this?! He's just a boy!

Enji: Shut up! I want him to get stronger so he can be the number one hero in the future!

Rei: Just leave him alone!

Enji: (anger) How dare you!

Slap!

Shoto has been dealing with this throughout his childhood, never get to be a child, meeting friends or have a happy life like any other children would. He was trained throughout his childhood life by his cruel and selfish father, a few times he get sick, a few times he passed out and when ever his mother try to protect him, she gets hurt but his father which hurt her both physically.....and mentally.

One day Shoto enters the kitchen and sees his mother boiling up some water while he can see her hands shaking while she was staring at the wall as Shoto approached her in worry.

He got in behind her and look up at her as he open hid mouth and then ask.

Shoto: Mum?

She then slowly turn to face Shoto and fear immediately appear on her face as she immediately move the boiling water at Shoto and then.......all he can hear was his mother screaming, finally snapped.

(Present day)

We see Shoto sitting down at the changing room and reliving the moment he got his scar on his face, a mark where his mother pour on him to show that he will end up like his father but he will not let that happen.

Soon a knock can be heard and Present Mic open and peak inside and telle Shoto.

Present Mic: Hey kid, your up, time for the final round.

Shoto: Yes....I'll be there.

He shuts the door while Shoto gets up and walks over to the door as he thinks to himself.

Shoto: (thought) I'll show you father. I will defeat Y/n, without using your quirk.

(Meanwhile)

We see Yagi at Nezu office since Yagi wants to talk to him something important and once there, Yagi takes q drink of water and then set it on the table while he tells Nezu.

Yagi: I had a nightmare that felt soo real.

Nezu: Well you can talk to me, I'm sure it was just a normal nightmare.

Yagi: It's not what you think. It felt soo real but yet......I don't know.

Nezu: Well how's about you tell me about this nightmare you had?

Yagi: Well......in this nightmare....I've seen the world in ruins, mysterious aliens robots patrolling the planet and fallen Hero's everywhere. It looked like a huge battle took place and then.....I was in a cell and was in chains as I was off the ground and that's when I met him.

Nezu: Who?

Yagi: A villain named Lord Keres, he looked like a extremely powerful villain and he torture me, given me what he thinks was "punishment" for what I did.

Nezu: That does sound horror.

Nezu grabs his drink and takes a drink when Yagi tells him.

Yagi: That's not all. He removed his helmet and I saw his face and I couldn't believe who is behind the mask. It was......it was.......Y/n.

Nezu spits out his drink in shock as he start to cough and then ask.

Nezu: (shocked) Y/n is Lord Keres, are you sure? Could he not be fake?

Yagi: I wish but it looked like him and he was completely different and blamed me for killing her.

Nezu: Who is he referring to?

Yagi: I don't know. But whoever he is referring to it cost him to snap and turn evil. Plus, he was all red and not blue.

Nezu: Could it be his quirk? Still I could just be a nightmare right, Y/n is a kind the most powerful student we could ever have who saved the planet, there is no way he would have turned evil.

Yagi: I guess but still.....I have a feeling there is more secrets to his quirk then we may lead to believe.

(Meanwhile)

The final round was about to begin with a crowd of people cheering as they can't wait to see who will win the final round and who will win the whole festival.

Class 1-A and other students sat down as Shoto enters into the area while at the same time Y/n appear at the other side as the two step onto the ring and then look at each other.

Midnight: This is the final round! We will finally get to who will walk out victories!

The crowd cheered once more while Shoto looks over to see his father as he glare at him, wanting him to win.

Y/n: Hey Shoto!

He turn to Shoto as Y/n smirk at him while he tells him.

Y/n: (smirk) Show me what you can do Shoto, don't hold  anything back!

Shoto just stare at him and ready himself as Midnight wave her flag up and then pulled it down and called out.

Midnight: Begin!

Shoto starts off by slamming his hand onto the floor as a trail of ice race towards Y/n but he smirked and stomped his foot, costing the ice floor to break, once that Y/n dashes towards Shoto and lands the first punch at Shoto, he was sent flying back but he land on his feet and immediately moved his right hand upwards as a swong ice wind blows and hits Y/n, his body freezing up a bit and then Shoto rushes towards him and then lands a punch at Y/n's stomach and immediately freeze him into ice.

He was stuck in thin ice as Shoto things he won when suddenly Y/n disappeared in front of Shoto which shocked him and the crowd. He looked around and turn suddenly Y/n strikes a blow at Shoto, costing him to be sent back and then Y/n launches shooting stars at Shoto which he creates a ice wall and blocks the incoming stars.

Y/n: Come on Shoto, i know you can do better then that!

Shoto doesn't know what he is talking about but soon his ice wall starts to crack ams soon breaks, shooting stars fly through his wall as he leap back to dodge them.

He looked up to see he is about to go through a black hole so he creates a ice circle around the black hole and lands onto the ice and look down at Y/n and then he launches towards Y/n.

He reach out his left hand but realised what he tried to do so he stop himself but this cost Y/n to strike a punch at Shoto in the face and he land hard on the ground.

Shoto slowly gets up, wiping the blood off from his mouth as Y/n tells him.

Y/n: Find your flame Shoto.

Shoto then look at Y/n while he stare at him and then gose on to say.

Y/n: Light up the flame inside of you and show me what you can do. Show me what that other half of you can do.

Shoto slowly forms a fist and let's out a yell and blasted Y/n with ice as Y/n dodges his attack and then Shoto leap towards Y/n and swings his blows at Y/n while he tells him.

Shoto: You don't understand what I've been through! You could never understand what my father has done to me for years, you can never understand why I hate his quirk!

Then Y/n grab his arm and then strike a headbutt and then he kicked him. Shoto slide backwards as he grab his stomach while Y/n look at Shoto and then tell him.

Y/n: Yes, I do understand what you have gone through. But if you wish to be a better hero like your father, them you need to show everyone what a true hero can do.

Shoto looked over at Y/n as he gose on to tell him.

Y/n: It doesn't matter if belongs to your father or mother's quirk, they are your quirks within you. True they bring you to this world but you have both of their quirks for a reason. Your father was cruel and selfish man who give you his quirk which is fire right? Well, when a old fire gose out, a new one will light up. Your father abuse his quirk to be selfish but you can use your own for good. I never cared about being the number one hero, second or even last. I wish to make lots of friends and help many people and make them happy. If you wish to make others happy, then fine your flame and light it!

Shoto was stunned for a bit as Y/n rushes towards him and start striking blows and blows at Shoto while he realised that all his life he worries he will end up like his father and so he never use his quirk ever again but....he maybe think that Y/n is right, it is his quirk and he can do better things then his father.

Then Y/n strikes a blow at Shoto which he stumble back. Y/n walks towards him whne suddenly Shoto left arm lights up and he immediately shoots flames out of his left hand. Y/n was shot in flames but he summon a shield to protect him.

He smiled as Shoto find his flame and then he slammed his other hand, shoot a large ice pillar, sending Y/n up in the air while Shoto slammed his fire first onto the ice pillar, shattering it into many pieces as it start to fell.

Y/n starts to fall as he smirked and then he flies down and the two clash as they get into a massive battle as Shoto shoots out both his fire and ice quirk at Y/n which hits him but doesn't put him down as he strike some galaxy blows at Shoto as the two continue to battle each other.

Midnight: (surprised) Look at this ladies and gentlemen, looks like this final round has gotten heated up right now!

The crowd cheered as both Shoto and Y/n continue their battle. Soon Shoto combine both his ice and fire quirk and fired both elements at Y/n which he catch his attack as the impact cost Y/n to slide back and nearly at the line as the crowd watched very carefully.

Y/n holds Shoto's combine attack and then Y/n takes a few steps forward and then fired his Galactic beam at Shoto as both attacks clash at each other as both of them struggle to have both of their attacks hit each other.

Suddenly there was a huge explosion that cost everyone to take cover as they duck down. Soon the crowd gets out of cover and there was only dust but soon it started to clear up and soon they see Shoto and Y/n still up but.

Midnight: We have a winner!

Shoto and Y/n sees that the match have won and then Shoto looked down and realised that......he is outside of the ring which means.

Midnight: (smile) The final round is over and the winner and champion of the sport festival is.........Y/n!!!!

The crowd cheers for Y/n win as he smiled and wave to everyone while Shoto couldn't believe that he had lost and looks over and not see his father there. He then start to walk away which Y/n noticed and soon we see Shoto walking through the hallway when Y/n called out to him.

Y/n: Shoto wait!

He stopped while Y/n catch up to him as Shoto stood there and then ask Y/n.

Shoto: Why do you wish me to use my left hand? Why?

Y/n: Because....I know you don't want to be like your father but you can do so much good with both of your combine quirks. (Smirk) I mean you were pretty cool back there.

Shoto: Still.....what should I do now? My father my not talk to me for a long time.

Then he felt a hand placed on his shoulder which is Y/n's hand as he tells Shoto.

Y/n: There is one you can talk to. I know your afraid of meeting her but she is the only one she cares and love you. I know she will never think you will end up like your father, I'm sure of it.

He then remove his hand from Shoto and turn to walk away while Shoto look down ans started to cry and then turn to Y/n and called out.

Shoto: (tears) Y/n!!

He turn back to see Shoto in tears as he called out to Y/n.

Shoto: (tears) Thank you! Thank you for finding my flames and I hope we can be friends again!

He the smiled as he node to him as he turn away while he said to Shoto.

Y/n: Now go, She would wish to see you after soo long.

Shoto: (tears) I.......I will.

(Sometime later)

The news talks about how Y/n won the sport festival and was given a golden metal who his victory with Shoto Silver while Izuku browns. Still they have a good time as the crowd cheered for them. However that was  two days ago and we see a women watching the news before she turns it off and then there was a knock at her door.

???: Come in.

The door open and it was Shoto as he walked inside and look at the women on the bed and then said.

Shoto: Hello....mother.

We then see Rei as she's looking at her son and at first Shoto was not sure she wants him here but to his surprise, she smiled and then said.

Rei: (smile) Hello Shoto, I'm so glad you came to visit.

Shoto: Mother.....

He then start to tear up and then approaches her and tell her.

Shoto: (tears) I'm so so sorry. I'm really am sorry.

Rei: (smile) Oh Shoto don't cry.

She then wipe a tear off from his scar face and then look at her son with a smile and tell him.

Rei: (smile) I'm so proud of you and I'm so sorry for what I did to you years back. No matter what, you will be a proud hero.

Then for the first time ever, Shoto smiled to his mother, glad that she is proud and the two start to talk. Even though he may have lost the sport festival tournament, he did find his flames and see his mother for a very long time.
