The other students seemed to have been competing with each other to figure out who had the best-designed room, but you got an exemption from the contest for... obvious reasons. It was certainly due to your grandparents decorating your room and not the other issue. You didn't mind how they put your room together though. It looked like your room in your apartment with Tsu. It was certainly going to be a transition from living with Tsu to having your classmates as your roommates.

(Y/n): Haa...

Your tired body flopped back onto your newly made bed, allowing yourself a moment to stare up at the ceiling. Your pajamas felt the same as ever, but your skin itself seemed to had been tarnished to the point of discomfort. You knew the reason of course. The scars on your body, the actions done by that crazed old man... the new Quirk coursing through your vein. You still weren't sure how the doctors managed to not find the Quirk, though you suspected your grandparent's meddling had a hand in it. You didn't know whether to thank them or... a sigh left your lips as you closed your eye. Mei should be working on a replacement since they couldn't find the other orb after the battle between All Might and All For One. Suddenly a knock filled the room, reverbing off the walls as you took a moment to quickly glance at the door. You hadn't expected a guest, especially with the new curfew system kicking in soon, but you managed to pull your tired body out of bed long enough to shuffle over to the door and open it. Your eyes widened softly and your breath hitched as you spotted her...

Mina Ashido

The pink maiden stood before you with a casual smile on her face, her eyes meeting yours as she titled her head to the side. The girl was in her pj's, wearing a cute simple shirt and shorts.

(Y/n): Hey...

Mina: Hey there! Do you mind if I come in?

Your head nodded softly, and you moved to the side, letting the girl brush past you to gaze into your room. She lifted her hand and placed a finger on her lips playfully.

Mina: Eh... I was expecting a lot more adult stuff, though I don't even want to think about Mineta's room...

You both shuddered softly before chuckling, a gentle smile cracking onto your features before once more dropping. 

(Y/n): What brings you here? I thought boys and girls were supposed to stay on their own sides?

Mina waved her hand softly, taking a moment to look out of your window before flopping back onto your bed.

Mina: We're supposed to, but I wanted to check in on my knight in shining armor.

(Y/n): You really gotta think of a shorter nickname, pinky.

Mina: Hmph, I like it! Though I could just call you knight, knighty, or maybe prince? Hmm... you kinda look like a beggar though.

(Y/n): I do not!

Mina: Are you sure? Could've fooled me, hehe~

You couldn't help but let out another chuckle before your smile dropped again. Mina took notice of this and patted the bed next to her.

(Y/n): What?

She didn't speak, simply opting to smack the sheets harder with a hmph. You got her message and slipped into place next to the pink girl.

Mina: There we go, now keep that smile!

Mina pointed at you and you did your best to keep the faint grin on your face. 

(Y/n): I'm just... really tired I guess. I'm tired of... feeling weak, feeling useless, and really doing what everyone else wants to do. I just want to be in my own head for once.

Mina: Your own head?

You froze softly. Yeah, explaining Jack would be hard so let's avoid that.

(Y/n): I'm... I'm just rambling. Whatever All For One did to me just...

Mina took a moment to rest her hand on your shoulder, a tender tone filling her voice as she spoke.

Mina: What... what did he do?

Your body took notice of the contact and allowed your own hand to raise and rest on hers.

(Y/n): I... please don't make me say it.

The broken begging you muttered out counteracted the smile on your face that you were clearly forcing for Mina's sake. The pink girl took a moment to ponder something before lifting her hands to your head and pulling.

(Y/n): H-Hey!

Your head came to rest on Mina's lap, the warmth of her thighs causing a blush to rise to your face.

(Y/n): What are you-

Mina: Shhh.

Your gaze lifted and met with the smiling features of Ashido. Her hands moved to rest on your temples before she spoke once more.

Mina: Just relax! I told you to not act so dramatic when we're together otherwise I would have to act that way too.

Her hands began to softly caress your head, your shoulders relaxing as you settled into place. It wasn't like you could get up, not that you wanted to anyway. You took a moment to think about everything. 

Mina: Ah don't you worry. I'm taking away the bad thoughts so you can smile more.

The pink girl suddenly announced causing your heart to seemingly skip a beat. You gulped and twisted softly in your now-laying form to let your right arm curl around the girl's waist in an awkward hug.

(Y/n): Thank you... you didn't need to do any of this.

Mina: Of course I didn't need to, but I wanted to. If you're not having fun how can I? I mean it's easy to but I like everyone being happy around me. Except for Bakugo, I think he was born angry.

You chuckled once more at her jokes and could finally feel a real grin creep into place. You truly needed this. Mina and her playful nature just seemed like a natural deterrent to your darker thoughts. With the Quirk now flowing in your veins and the dark possibilities it presented, you were glad to have a pink maiden to alleviate the fears of her knight in shining armor.

(Y/n): You make it really hard to not like you?

Mina chuckled, rubbing your hair playfully.

Mina: Ah, just wait until you fall for me, that will make things a lot more fun!

(Y/n): Hmm... I might have to see for myself then...
