Chapter 27: We Need To Talk

It was afternoon and they headed towards the bus. As they do, they looked at their licenses.

Izuku: (teary eyed)

Arcturus: Great work, pal.

Ochaco: Deku, are you crying?

Izuku: Yeah, well, you know. This is a lot. So many people have helped me get to this point, and some of them went through a lot of trouble to do so. Meaning... How do I put this? It's like this is proof I've matured and gotten stronger. And it makes me so happy.

Wanda: (smile) You've definitely grown a lot since we were kids.

Arcturus: And think about. Today, UA provisional license passers. Tomorrow, the world's top pro heroes.

Izuku: (pulls out his phone) I better show this to my mom and All Might as soon as possible.

Ochaco: Wait! Let's all get a group pic together.

Izuku: Oh, uh, sure.

Wanda: Who'll take it?

Arcturus: Let me try.

He readies his camera with Izuku and the girls smiling with their licenses. The moment Arc presses the button, he runs by them, the camera flashes, and Arc catches it and sees him perfectly in the photo.

Arcturus: Ha! It worked!

Ochaco: Cool! I guess for you that's like taking a selfie.

Arcturus: (smiles) Yeah, I guess so.

Hitomi grasped her provisional license in her hands as she followed the class out of the arena, the sky a bright orange as the sun set.

The name "Blue Moon" was in large font at the bottom, making Hitomi smile.

Hitomi: (thoughts) I... can't believe this is real. I really did it.

As she followed the Bakusquad to the buses, she heard her name, realizing they were talking to her. She stuffed her (shiny, new, aaaggh she couldn't believe it) provisional license into her bag, shifting her attention to them.

Hitomi: Sorry, could you repeat that?

Kaminari: Oh, I was just pointing out... (laughs a little) Both you and Todoroki had those Shiketsu students apologizing to you. You guys must've really pissed them off, huh?

Hitomi: It wasn't like that!

Her mind drifting back to Yoshiho again. She'd finally had the chance to search up what the "Koatsu Family Scandal" was on her phone as they were waiting to get their pictures for their licenses taken, and she'd discovered a lot, to say the least.

Like Kirishima had said, the CEO of the Koatsu Support Company had accused his wife of cheating, but there was more to it than just that.

It turned out that Yoshiho was born with a completely different quirk from her parents, and because of that, her father had believed his wife was having an affair. Even though there have been rare cases of genetic mutations resulting in the manifestation of a completely random quirk, apparently Yoshiho's father hadn't wanted to take any chances, filing for a divorce.

There was dozens of news stories about it, many of which called Yoshiho's mother words Hitomi personally thought were too vulgar for the news, while Yoshiho herself was called things along the lines of an illegitimate child.

It explained why people would look at Yoshiho warily, whispering to each other about her with few speaking to her directly.

Because turning out to be the illegitimate daughter of the leader of one of the largest support item companies in the industry was not something many would simply ignore.

Hitomi: (thoughts) That must have been hard, being seen that way.

Hitomi found herself seeking her, spotting Yoshiho's dark auburn hair as the Shiketsu class was approaching the buses. She was at the back of the group, as if isolated, staring at the ground and not talking to anyone.

She looked really, really lonely.

Before Hitomi realized it, her feet were moving towards them, breaking out into a run just as the Shiketsu students began boarding the bus.

Hitomi: K... Koatsu!

The girl in question turned to look at her in surprise. Hitomi slowed as she approached the girl.

Hitomi: I want to asked you something... How did you ever met Y/N exactly?

Yoshiho: Well... it begun back when I was at my old elementary school. As you know, I was supposed to be the girl born with everything. A wealthy heritage, parents who would stick by me no matter what, and I try to the hero world that I'd always dreamed of. But throw an unexpected quirk into the mix, and nothing would go the way I'd hoped.

(flashback)

Yoshiho was lonely at a park, sitting on the grass while curling herself. She was on the verge of tears until...

???: Hey, are you okay?

Yoshiho looked up and saw Y/N kneel down to her level.

Y/N: Sorry, but I couldn't help but notice you were feeling lonely. Did something happened?

Yoshiho: It's... (sniff) It's nothing.

Y/N: (sits next to her) I know it's not true. Were you bullied or abused by someone?

Yoshiho didn't respond, her silence was the answer he needed.

Y/N: I'll take that as a yes. Well, you're not the only one.

Yoshiho: Huh?

Y/N: I've been bullied as well due to me being quirkless and all. And I've got a shitty step-dad who doesn't care about me or mom.

Yoshiho: Really?

Y/N: Yeah, in a way I'm just like you. Hey, you wanna be friends?

Yoshiho: (surprised) A-Are you sure? I mean...

Y/N: (smile) Don't worry, I promise I won't treat you like the people who did. I'll make sure you'll have a better life.

Yoshiho: (surprised, smile) You are a strange guy despite being quirkless.

Y/N: (shrugs) Meh, it's what I am. (offers a hand) I'm Y/N L/N.

Yoshiho: (takes the hand) Yoshiho Koatsu.

Yoshiho: (narrator) He was the first person who didn't see me differently. He cared for me, talked to me, even hang out with me. Even though his heart originally belonged to you, he still consider me his friend. But... when I heard about his "death", I was heartbroken.

(flashback 2)

People were whispering around her again.

As soon as Yoshiho slid the classroom door open, the class fell silent. She felt people's weary stares as she made her way to her desk, plopping down into her seat in a huff. The class resumed their morning chatter as she began to sort through her bag, but their voices sounded quieter, more subdued.

She could see the people around her leaning in to whisper in their friends' ears, covering their mouths and staring at her. Yoshiho bit her lip, squashing down the anxiety that was building in her stomach.

She wasn't bothered.

Not at all.

Girl: Isn't that her?

Yoshiho clenched her fist, her nails digging into her skin as she made her way down the hallway.

Sanzumi: Wow, she looks just like that slut.

Yoshiho: (thoughts) It doesn't bother me.

Yoshiho chanted in her head, keeping her eyes glued to the floor.

Sanzumi: I'm not surprised he wants nothing to do with her. She ignores everyone. She must have been such a pain.

Yoshiho: (thoughts) It doesn't bother me.

Sanzumi: I'm glad he's getting remarried. That woman seems much better for him anyway.

Yoshiho: (thoughts) It doesn't bother me.

Girl: You think she'll be invited to the wedding?

Yoshiho: (thoughts) It. Doesn't. Bother. Me.

Sanzumi: Yeah, right. She's not even his real daughter.

Yoshiho: (thoughts) It doesn't bother me. It doesn't bother me it doesn't bother me it doesn't bother me-

Sanzumi:

She even made a friend with a quirkless loser who committed suicide. Guess he's trash like you.

That was where Yoshiho snapped. Yoshiho let out a guttural scream, swiveling around and tackling Sanzumiwho'd called her trash. They both crashed to the floor, Yoshiho gripping her by her collar.

Yoshiho: YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING!!!

Sanzumi: What the hell?! Lay off!

Her arm turned to liquid before Yoshiho was suddenly shoved to the floor roughly by water, her uniform drenched.

Yoshiho hissed, trying to blink the water out of her eyes as the girl rose from the floor.

Girl: What the hell's your problem?! Leave her alone, loser!

Yoshiho glared at them from the floor, seeing Sanzumi flip her hair over her shoulder.

Sanzumi: Just ignore her, Natsuko. With how much she ignores everyone else, I wouldn't put it past her not to realize she's picking a fight with a future pro hero.

Her gaze shifted back to Yoshiho, disgust on her face.

Sanzumi:

Yoshiho lost all control.

She screamed, giving into her anger and shooting a huge gravity pulse, one larger than she ever had before. The girl, along with her friends and some other people surrounding her, were all launched back, tumbling to the ground. Some windows shattered, glass clattering to the floor.

Yoshiho: Hero...?

Yoshiho muttered once her attack had settled, getting up from the floor as water dripped down her hair.

Yoshiho: You're going to be a hero, you say...? Yeah, right. Heroes don't call people trash.

Sanzumi: (got up slowly, glaring back) Excuse me?

Yoshiho laughed a little, feeling herself smirk.

Yoshiho: Heroes are supposed to inspire people. But with your garbage attitude, I bet the only people you'll inspire are villains.

Some people in the crowd that gathered gasped, whispering amongst themselves.

Sanzumi: (glare) Take that back.

Yoshiho tugged at her collar, pulling away the wet cloth clinging to her body.

Yoshiho: Heroes aren't bullies. Bullies are trash, and only trash can recognize other trash.

Sanzumi's face turned bright red, infuriated. She suddenly dashed towards Yoshiho, grabbing her shoulders in an attempt to shove her to the ground.

Sanzumi: How dare you-!

Yoshiho grabbed her arms, taking her down with her to the floor. She yelped as her back hit the floor, but ignored the pain, placing her foot on the Sanzumi's stomach and throwing her over her head.

Sanzumi rolled across the tile, her uniform getting scuffed. As Yoshiho tried to pick herself up, Sanzumi grits her teeth, springing up from the ground and tackling her.

Insults were thrown around as they pushed, kicked, punched, shoved.

Yoshiho: THE ONLY TRASH HERE IS YOU!!!

Sanzumi: BACK OFF, TRAMP! I DON'T NEED TO HEAR THAT FROM THE DAUGHTER OF A WHORE!!!

They were both using their quirks, water splashing across the floor, more windows shattered, one of the classroom doors was even blown out of the doorframe, cracks left in the walls. Sanzumi swung at Yoshiho's face, punching her square in the jaw before Yoshiho elbowed her stomach, uppercutting her in the chin.

Sanzumi's arm turned to water again, shooting a hard stream of water directly in Yoshiho's face. Yoshiho fell onto the floor, her clothes sopping wet before she made a kicking motion at the other girl, gravity shooting from her foot.

Sanzumi was pushed back, stumbling as she fell on her butt. She scowled, cradling her shoulder.

Sanzumi: Don't get so arrogant just because your dad runs the Koatsu Support Company! Everyone knows you're not his real daughter, you bitch! You're weak just like the quirkless loser!

There was a primal scream as Yoshiho used her quirk to launch herself towards the girl, standing over her in a flash.

Yoshiho couldn't form a single coherent thought, completely driven by pure rage as she used her quirk on Sanzumi.

The strength of her gravity was so strong, so strong the school was rumbling, cracks forming in the floor.

Yoshiho: SHUT UP!!!

The cracks getting bigger and bigger, the entire school beginning to shake.

Yoshiho: YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT Y/N!!! DO YOU HEAR ME?!?!?!

Sanzumi struggled underneath her, the suffocating pressure making it hard for her to breathe.

Yoshiho: NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING-!!!

???: ENOUGH!!!

Yoshiho was cut off as she felt a rope wrap around her, trapping her arms to her sides as she was pulled away abruptly.

Yoshiho was dragged across the floor, struggling against the rope's hold before she felt her back hit someone's legs.

Yoshiho opened her eyes, looking up to see the school principal looming over her, the rope glowing in his hand from his quirk.

Principal: What is the meaning of all this?

Sanzumi:

Yoshiho: Because of that, I got suspended by the principal. And we had to pay for damage property. I couldn't tell the reason why I attacked Sanzumi because it hurts too much to repeat.

(flashback 3)

The walk back to the train station was silent.

It felt suffocating.

Yoshiho's mother didn't say a single word to her, not even breathing in her direction on the way back home.

When they'd finally stepped through the front door of their small apartment, Yoshiho finally mustered up the courage to speak.

Yoshiho: Mother.

Her mother didn't say anything back, simply sifting through one of the cupboards, pulling out a large bottle of wine.

Yoshiho: Mother.

She pulled out a glass, ignoring Yoshiho as she filled it all the way to the rim with alcohol.

Yoshiho: Mother.

Fuuka pulled the glass to her lips, dipping her head back as she chugged the drink.

Yoshiho: ...I'm sorry.

Yoshiho flinched as her mother slammed the glass down on the counter, so hard Yoshiho would have been surprised it didn't shatter if she wasn't worried over what her mother would do right now.

Fuuka: You're sorry...?

Yoshiho gulped, frozen by the doorway.

Fuuka: Do you have any idea what you've done?

Yoshiho saw her mother's grip tighten on the glass, fear building in her stomach.

Fuuka: We're already just barely scraping by. And then you had to go and destroy the school with that destructive quirk of yours.

Yoshiho: I'm sorry, Mother! I didn't mean to-!

She was cut off as her mother threw her cup, the glass shattering against the door only a foot or two away from Yoshiho.

Fuuka:

Yoshiho suppressed the urge to yelp as she was shoved up against the door, feeling pain in the spots where she'd gotten injured during her fight.

Fuuka: WE BARELY HAVE ENOUGH MONEY AS IT IS! AND NOW WE PROBABLY WON'T EVEN GET TO EAT BECAUSE OF YOU!

Yoshiho: I'm sorry, Mother!

She could feel tears pricking at the corners of her eyes.

Yoshiho: I'm sorry! I'm sorry- I- I-!

Fuuka:

Yoshiho's eyes shone with tears as the image of her father flashed in her mind, when he had said the same thing the last time she'd gotten into a fight.

Yoshiho couldn't take this.

She grabbed the door handle, pushing the door open and stumbling out of her mother's grip.

Fuuka: Yoshiho!

Yoshiho turned away from her, sprinting down the stairs as the tears finally fell.

Fuuka: YOSHIHO!!!

She ignored her mother's voice, speeding up as she ran down the street. Her mother's calls became more distant as Yoshiho got further and further away from the apartment, the sky a dark orange dusk.

She didn't care where she ended up.

All she wanted was to get away.

Yoshiho: (thoughts, crying) Y/N... I wish you were here.

(flashback ended)

Hitomi: Yoshiho...

Yoshiho: By the time, I've been avoiding my mother. And I know my father didn't cared about me. Eventually I decided to not go to UA and move onto to Shiketsu instead. But then, I learned Y/N was alive all along.

Hitomi: Back on Kamino Ward.

Yoshiho: I saw him on tv. Part was happy and relief that he was alive, but then I notice something changed. His aura, his personality, he even has multiple quirks which shouldn't be possible. He was with the League of Villains as one of their members, I first thought it was hard to believe, but that's when he did it.

Hitomi: Did what?

Yoshiho: He killed my parents.

Hitomi: (gasped in shock)

Yoshiho: Not just them, but also my old principal and Sanzumi. He came up to them, beat them, torture them, and eventually taking their lives. It was his way of saving me from my pain, despite it being brutal and extreme.

(flashback)

Yoshiho was seen walking back to her apartment as she was still having thoughts about seeing Y/N on tv.

Yoshiho: I still can't believe Y/N is alive and he's a villain now. Did that girl and his bully pushed him that far to become one?

As she opened the door, she gasped in shock when she saw her old principal laying on the floor dead while her former parents and Sanzumi were tied up while having bruises on their as Sanzumi had a bottle on her mouth.

She then also see Y/N inside the apartment with Shin, Berserker, Leviathan, Beros, Toga, Dabi, Twice, and Mr. Compress.

Y/N: Ah, Yoshiho. (grabs Sanzumi by her throat) You're just in time, I was about to give those abusers the punishment they deserve.

Yoshiho: Y-Y-Y-/N....?

Kyosu: Y-Yoshiho...

Fuuka: Help us...

Beros: Sanzumi Makuto. Formerly from the same elementary school as Yoshiho, she began insulting her and her mother which caused a fight between the two.

Sanzumi: (muffed while crying)

Beros: I believe she was trying to say she did it because she thought those with a mutated quirk deserve to be in the bottom.

Y/N: Well that's bullshit. It's like people who bully those who are quirkless. (to Sanzumi, glare) You should know better than to judge someone by their appearance or what quirk they have, you discriminator. It's not a threat, it's just common sense.

Sanzumi: (muffed while crying, nodding yes)

Y/N: Hold on, don't move too much now. That may look like a regular glass bottle, but it isn't.

He stretches out his hand as green markings appeared, then the bottle suddenly got heavy which pushed Sanzumi on the ground, unable to move.

Sanzumi: (scream, muffed while crying)

Y/N: In fact, it's made of dramour ore, the heaviest metal found on Guilst. That's strange, right? It was glass just moments ago, because I just change its gravity to light weight before canceling the effect.

The floor beneath Sanzumi's head starts to crack and break, creating a small crater.

Toga: Oh wow, see him treating those nasty people is so hot!

Dabi: Remind me not to piss him off.

Y/N: So, I heard you were some kind of artist, right?

Sanzumi: (muffed while crying)

Beros: I believe she was saying yes.

Y/N: (smirks) Well, then I suppose a few cuts from the inside of your mouth won't make a big difference, will it?

Sanzumi was terrified as Y/N kicks and breaks the bottle in Sanzumi's mouth which cuts her mouth and she loses a few teeth.

Twice: Yeah! Die you piece of garbage!

Yoshiho: Wait, Y/N stop! This is taking too far!

Y/N: What makes you think what I'm doing to her is too far? (looks at Yoshiho)

Heroes aren't bullies. Bullies are trash, and only trash can recognize other trash. Those are the words you've told her, right?

Yoshiho: (gasped)

Y/N: What I'm doing is for your sake. So you won't have to relive your life of abuse again. Now then...

He then walks over to Kyosu and Fuuka.

Y/N: Kyosu and Fuuka Koatsu. You two are no better than she is. You both made your daughter's life a living hell just because she had a different quirk than yours. How could do that and act she's nothing to you?

Fuuka: (scared) No, you're wrong! I do care for Yoshiho! It's just...

Kyosu: Why should that matter to you?! She's worthless, always getting herself into trouble! A wreck like her doesn't deserve to be my-

He was cut off when Y/N used Rock Arm as he grabbed and slammed Kyosu onto the wall which made his head exploded and caused blood to spay everywhere. Fuuka scream while Yoshiho was in shocked.

Y/N: (looks at Fuuka) Any last words?

Fuuka: Yoshiho, help me! Please! I'm sorry! I'll make your life better than what you currently have! I'll-

She stopped when she noticed Yoshiho had her hair shadowy her eyes while she clenched her fist.

Y/N: She made her decision.

For letting your own daughter to suffer of guilt, bully, and abuse, you deserve to die for your actions.

Using Laser Bullet, he blasted through her chest which caused her to fall on the ground dead.

Y/N: Berserker. Shin. You can have their bodies for dinner. Twice, clean up this mess. I don't want her apartment to look like a crime-scene.

Twice: Understood!

Y/N: (turns to Yoshiho) I'm sorry you have to see this. I know it's a lot to take it-

He was cut off when Yoshiho hugged him by surprised while she was having tears in her eyes. He slowly hugged her back. He may be have been a villain, but to her, he was a hero in her eyes.

(flashback 2)

After Y/N and the villains left and cleaned up her apartment, Yoshiho was seen in the bathroom looking at her reflection.

This was her chance to take the first step towards something new. To move from one part of her life to the next.

Yoshiho held a clump of her long, silky hair up, taking a deep breath before she snipped off several inches with the red scissors. Her hair fell back, now at a length that rested about an inch below her shoulders. She felt like she was in a trance, cutting off more, more, and more of her hair, the dark auburn locks falling into the sink and down onto the floor until it was shoulder-length all around.

She stared at herself in the mirror as she cut off the ends of another clump, watching in the reflection as it fell into the sink with the rest of her hair. Yoshiho moved on to her bangs, pulling them out from behind her ear. She held the scissors up, about to cut them before her eyes caught sight of herself in the mirror.

She really did bear an uncanny resemblance to her mother.

Her eyebrows knit together, hesitating to close the scissors around the auburn locks.

Her face only served as a constant reminder of the woman.

And she didn't want to see things that were a reminder.

Yoshiho pulled her bangs straight down, measuring them against her face. After a few moments of calculating the length, she held the blades around her hair, cutting a large chunk of it off. The bangs fell against her face to now rest right below her right eye, covering half her face. She could still see through the auburn locks, but her new bangs served to hide the resemblance she had to her mother.

At the very least, like this, she looked less like her.

And it was another small step made in moving away from that painful past life.

Yoshiho: (thoughts) Y/N, thank you for everything you've done for me. Now I'll return the favor for you.

(flashback ended)

Yoshiho: And that was it.

Hitomi: I am so sorry... you shouldn't deserve any of that just because you have a different quirk.

Yoshiho: It doesn't matter. It's not like I can change the past. (was about to walk to the bus)

Hitomi: Wait!

Hitomi sets her hero costume case down as she reached into her pocket for her phone.

Hitomi: Do you have your phone on you right now?

Yoshiho's eyes widened in confusion.

Yoshiho: Yes. But why...?

Hitomi held her hand out expectantly.

Hitomi: I just need it really quick.

Was this really happening right now...?

It felt like a prank.

Yoshiho stared at the other girl suspiciously, searching her face for some flaw, a slip-up, an indication she was playing some sick joke on her. A twitch of a smirk. Smug eyes. Something.

But Yoshiho found... nothing.

As Hitomi finally pulled her own phone out of her pocket, staring at Yoshiho expectantly, all Yoshiho could see was kindness. It was a timid kind, an unsure smile, hopeful eyes, and it made Yoshiho's suspicion crumble.

She hadn't seen something like that in years.

Relationships were risky. That was what Yoshiho had told herself for years. The closer you were to someone, whether it was familial, romantic, or platonic, the more it would hurt when they didn't want you anymore. Her parents had demonstrated that perfectly.

But Hitomi...

She'd forced Yoshiho to come to terms with all the resentment and fear she'd been carrying. She'd made Yoshiho realize how unhero-like she'd been acting. And now, she was extending her hand in an offer of friendship.

With a small huff, Yoshiho reached into her pocket, unlocking her phone and placing it in Kanetsukabe's hand. Relationships were risky, but looking at Hitomi now, Yoshiho decided being her friend was a risk she was willing to take.

Hitomi opened her Contacts page, copying Yoshiho's number to her phone while she put her own number on Yoshiho's. Once she saved the info, she handed Yoshiho's phone back to her, scratching her cheek sheepishly.

Hitomi:

She then scurried back to her own class' bus before Yoshiho could object, feeling herself get embarrassed.

Sero: What were you doing?

Hitomi scratched her cheek, looking away sheepishly.

Hitomi: I... uh... I gave Koatsu my number.

Kaminari: Your number, huh? How bold of you, Hitomi!

Hitomi spluttered, waving her hand sheepishly.

Hitomi: : N-Not like that...!

She sighed, her grip tightening on her hero costume case.

Hitomi: I just... I don't know... I wanted to give her someone to talk to, I guess...? I don't even know if she'll keep my number...

Katsuki: Didn't you piss off that paste face or something?

Hitomi: (shook her head) She told me her anger came from a place that wasn't specifically meant for me... and she apologized for it. I just... hope she'll let me talk to her. And that... she'd be okay with talking to me.

Kirishima: Don't doubt yourself, Hitomi! You're the type of person to really grow on someone, not to mention no one can resist that adorable face of yours!

Hitomi felt herself blush at her friend's compliment.

Hitomi: Eh?! I'm not...

Arcturus: Kirishima's not wrong. You may be quiet, but at least you're not constantly breathing down my neck like Pikachu or Pinky.

Mina and Kaminari: Hey!

Wanda: They're right, though, I bet you guys'll be friends in no time.

Hitomi felt her shoulders relax, feeling her heart soar at all her friends' kind words.

Hitomi: (smile) Thanks you guys.

She pulled her phone out of her pocket, staring at Yoshiho's contact info.

Hitomi: (thoughts) I hope... I hope she'll let me be her friend.

Before they leave, Arc goes over to the Shiketsu group to ask about the girl from their group. However, she wasn't feeling well, and took a cab home. However, according to Mora, she hasn't been acting like her self these past few days, which makes Arc actually suspicious about it.

Arcturus: (thoughts) Something's not right about that girl. I was hoping to find out why.

(with Cynthia)

Cynthia and All Might had left Tartarus because All Might had a talk to All For One  on Y/N and Shigaraki.

Cynthia: Got what you needed?

All Might: No. Unfortunately, All For One's keeping quiet on Shigaraki. He's either lying, or genuinely doesn't know where he and the League of Villains are hiding.

Cynthia: Who knows what goes on in that psychopath's head.

Cynthia's phone then buzzes and she checks it to see it's a picture of her kids, Izuku, and Ochaco showing their licenses and smiling.

Cynthia: (smile) Guess who passed their test?

He then smiles proudly at the kids' accomplishments and Cynthia has a smirk of her own.

Cynthia: (thoughts) He's such a dad.

???: So, Arc's still at UA, huh?

Cynthia and All Might gasped as they saw Y/N who was approaching them with Sage.

Cynthia: Y/N... and... Sage?

Sage: Hello, Cynthia.

Y/N: We're not here to fight, we just want to talk to you. (looks around) Let's find a place to chat.

(UA dorms)

Once everyone was back at the dorms, Hitomi decided to tell the truth about Y/N to Class 1A. She told them that it was her fault and the reason why Short Fuse was blackmailing her, the Class is stunned by her words.

Iida: My god... that's...

Kaminari: I don't know what to say...

Izuku: Hitomi...

Hitomi: I know that's a lot to take in, and I can't ignore the things I've done to hurt him. So, I decided that I'm leaving UA high school.

Kirishima: Wait what?!

Mina: Wait!

Shuri: You just got your license!

Hitomi: I know, but I felt like I can't be a hero because of what I did. I'm sorry.

Arc walked to Hitomi as she was expecting a slap from him. But instead, he gave her a hug, much to her surprise.

Arcturus: It's okay, Hitomi. None of us are gonna judge you by what you've done.

Hitomi: But—

Wanda: Arc's right. How Y/N became a villain wasn't your fault.

Robbie: You may have done something you regretted, but you must move past that.

Momo: Besides, when that time comes, I want to help Y/N.

Kyoka: You can count me in.

Mina: Me too.

Soon, the rest of Class 1A encourage her to stay as she begun to cry in tears of joy.

Hitomi: (crying, smile) You guys...

She felt that they've supported her, and so she decided to stay. It was now nighttime and the gang was resting now that their exam was finished.

Kyoka: So, we're back to normal classes tomorrow, right?

Robbie: Yeah, at least until the next crazy event occurs.

Momo: I suppose there's no rest for heroes.

Sato: Man, I could use a vacation.

Tokoyami: I'll not forget this summer the rest of my life.

Shuri: You and me both.

Arcturus was playing with a rubix cube that was surviving for once, but then he notices Katsuki passing by Izuku. Knowing that look, he knew something was about to happen. Before he could question it, Wanda walk by him.

Wanda: Meet outside later.

Arcturus: 'Kay.

(with Y/N)

Y/N was seen at the Farron house with Sage, Cynthia, and All Might in the living room.

Y/N: It's been a while since I last came here.

Cynthia: What do you want to talk about?

Y/N: So, the whole expelling Arc thing was a lie to lure me out? That's pretty sneaky of you.

Cynthia: I've wanted to talk to you.

Y/N: And your plan failed. You can thank Arc for that.

All Might: Young L/N, you're All For One successor, right?

Y/N: What about it?

All Might: Do you happened to know what his plan for Shigaraki is?

Y/N: Unfortunately, no. I don't much what he really wants.

All Might: I see.

Y/N: Anyway, Arc, Izuku, and Wanda passed. They're gonna be great heroes.

Cynthia: Yeah. I'm hoping they'll be the ones to make the world a better place.

Y/N: So, how are Arc and Wanda?

Cynthia: You know how they are — pushing forward no matter what. Especially Arc. I'm worried about Wanda, though. She hasn't spoken much of the kidnapping since we rescued her.

Y/N: I can't blame her. She must be having an identity crisis of being either dad's or Magneto's daughter.

Cynthia: Does she think we're looking at a potential villain in her eyes?

Y/N: Most likely. That's how most heroes think of people, even Lady Nagant considered what the HPSC do to her.

Cynthia: (shocked) How did you—

Y/N: I've read my dad's files about her. I know how was accused of murder and became a villain. Though what I don't understand is that, even though they were partners, why didn't he save her.

Cynthia: Richard tried to help her help.

Y/N: "Tried"? And what happened? Did he failed? Was he blackmailed into keeping it quiet, possibly threatening to have his family killed? She was forced to do it. If you imagine right now, if that company still lives, they would have used Arc or even worse used Wanda cause of her, or maybe because she is the daughter of Magneto. Like seriously... HOW BLIND CAN YOU PEOPLE BE?!?!

Sage: (grab his hand and shoulder) Y/N, calm down. Try to breathe.

Y/N listened to what Sage said and calms down, take a deep breath.

Cynthia: You're right. What the HPSC did to Lady Nagant was wrong. And Richard did failed to save her. He, Claire, and I know that she was your favourite hero.

Y/N: ...

All Might: Cynthia...

Cynthia: That's want... (bows to Y/N) I want to apologize on behave of your father.

Y/N: (pause for a moment, sighs) Okay, I accept your apology. But you have to apologize to Arc and Wanda as well, and better do it fast.

All Might: Why is that?

Y/N: Because and Bakugo are challenging Arc and Izuku to a fight.

Cynthia and All Might: WHAT?!?!?!?!

(with Arc and Wanda)

It was lights out and everyone but four others were asleep. Arc and Wanda were walking out where they were heading to the testing grounds.

Arcturus: Wanda, how far are we going? You know Aizawa's gonna blow a gasket when he finds out.

Wanda doesn't respond but thinks back to her childhood.

(flashback)

Young Y/N: Wow, Arc! Your quirk is amazing! I wish I had a quirk.

Young Izuku: Don't worry, Y/N. When we get ours, we'll be just as cool like Arc, Wanda, and Kacchan.

Young Katsuki: Whatever, Deku. To me, none of you will ever be cooler than me.

Young Wanda: In your dreams, Kacchan. I bet it'll be awesome!

Young Arcturus: Come on, let's go find some bugs!

(flashback ended)

They were soon out at Ground Beta.

Arcturus: The training grounds?

Wanda: This is where we had our first combat training. Where we won and you beat Katsuki. Isn't that right, Bomb Bitch?

Surprised by that, Arc looks to see Katsuki and Izuku approaching them.

Izuku: Arc, Wanda, why are you two here?

Arcturus: Wanda wanted to talk with me, so we came here. But, why are you two here?

Izuku: Same thing with Kacchan.

Katsuki: I don't care what reasons you two have. In fact, this save the trouble.

You three always made me sick. You know that, right? Especially you, Deku. You and Y/N were useless. No power at all. A joke. Always needing these two to protect the both of you. So now you're gonna tell me how you managed to get into this damn school with a brand new quirk out of nowhere.

Wanda: That's actually a good point. And honestly, I'm more mad that you told this self-centered, immature, ignorant moron instead of someone who actually cares for you.

Arcturus: Wanda, don't.

Katsuki: (to Izuku) I didn't understand it back then because it made no sense. But still, you kept climbing higher and higher, always looking so satisfied with yourself. (remembers the Sludge Villain) Ever since that sludge villain. No, it actually started when All Might came to town. Better and better. Until finally, you passed the licensing exam while I failed. How the hell is that even possible?

Izuku: It wasn't a matter of ability, though.

Katsuki: Shut up and listen, you damn nerd.

Arcturus: Back off, Katsuki! He passed cause of his own skills, you failed because—

All the sudden, he was kicked in the face by Wanda and knocked back. The action surprised Izuku and even Katsuki was briefly stunned by the action. Arc recovers and he sees Wanda glaring at him with her eyes glowing red.

Wanda: For once, stop trying to play hero for a moment.

Katsuki: It pissed me off that I was beaten by such a pathetic weakling. But after seeing what happened to All Might in Kamino Ward, I started thinking about it. (looks at Izuku)

I gave it a lot of thought, you got your quirk from All Might, didn't you?

Izuku: ...

Arcturus: Katsuki...

Katsuki: And don't think I forgot about you, Lightning Prick. I'm guessing you knew about it too since you've been hanging out with the nerd all this time. I was the best in school, and the moment I got into UA... You joined in with your sister and Deku, and suddenly you become the talk of the school. The hardest thing I've ever admitted was losing during our match at combat class and in the sports festival, or even get myself killed by Y/N who was supposed to be "dead". You both made me look so small... I then realized that I wasn't strong enough to hold my own against you, or even Y/N. I realized the gap between us, but now... it's not just a gap. It's a 10km canyon between our strengths.

Arcturus: ...

Wanda: ...

Izuku: ...

Katsuki: Regardless of that, I heard about Y/N, or rather his new quirk he had got from that boss villain. Apparently he has the ability to steal another person's quirk and give it to someone else, he once used that in attempt to steal my quirk.

Y/N: I'll take everything from you....and then you will realize what it's like to be me.

Katsuki: Sounds crazy but after one of those cat ladies got her power taken and can't work anymore. And suddenly, Midoriya... you started changing right when All Might appeared in town. He lost his power and had to retire, just like her. It's all connected. I remember what he said after he beat the big bad. We all heard it. Back then, you were the only one who really understood what he meant. There's more evidence too, like how those Nomu monsters had multiple quirks. Even though it seemed impossible. Besides... All Might and that boss villain knew each other. Before the fight. Quirks can move from one person to another. All Might knew the guy could do it, and somehow it's all connected back to you.

He takes a step closer to Izuku as he continues to glare at him.

Katsuki: I asked All Might about it in some way, but he wouldn't give me a straight answer. That's why you're going to tell me the truth, Midoriya.

Izuku looks down as he seems to be stuck in thought. Katsuki even looked at Arc and Wanda.

Katsuki: None of you are denying it. Which means I'm right. So say it.

Wanda: I didn't know until my quirk developed more.

Arcturus: Huh?

Wanda: Like I told Momo during the test, I can now read others's minds here and there. It's not perfect, but I know everything about Izuku and that special quirk. And, I know about your special quirk, too, Arcturus. How it's supposed to one day destroy Izuku's, All For One, and even Y/N.

Both the boys grit their teeth in frustration. A while back, Izuku had kinda let it slipped that his quirk came from someone else, and All Might had warned him about it but it wasn't taken seriously at the time. And for Wanda, they knew her quirk was evolving, but had no idea it would result into this.

Izuku: Okay. What if it's true?

Katsuki: (narrowed his eyes) You and I both wanted to be just like All Might when we were growing up. But I was the one who had the potential. Then somehow, a little nobody like you was singled out by the person I admired most, and I didn't even realize it. That's why we're here.

You and I are settling this. Right here. Right now.

Wanda: As long as you don't kill him, go for it. For me, it's time my "brother" and I have a conversation of our own.

Arc's eyes widen as he realizes exactly what type of situation they were gonna be in for.

Chapter 27 ended.

Done. That was pretty long and one of the most challenging chapters so far.

Here are Y/N's new quirks he got during the provisional license arc: Satan Gravity, Hydro, Cat Leaper, Wormhole, Bloody Armor, Copy of Blood, Radio Waves, Heavy Payload, Strings, and Dreadnaught.

The next chapter will be a fight between Arc and Izuku vs Wanda and Katsuki. Expect some emotional moments.

Also, I hadn't said it in a way: Do you want to have a lemon scene? If so, who do you want us to do it with?

If you guys have any ideas for that chapter, let me know at the comments below. Peace out and enjoy!
