Yoshiho launched another gravity pulse at Hitomi, the bluenette diving out of the way as she tried launching a force field at the girl. She rolled onto the ground, stopping just by the river as Yoshiho dodged her attack.

It went on that way for a while, where Yoshiho would launch an attack at Hitomi, she would dodge, Hitomi would try launching her own attack, and Yoshiho would dodge. Yoshiho was yelling at her all the while.

Apparently Hitomi had said something that had pissed her off.

Yoshinh: IT'S PEOPLE LIKE YOU I HATE THE MOST!!!

She then launched herself towards Hitomi this time. Before Hitomi could even react, Yoshiho had her pinned to the ground, an erratic look on her face that threw Hitomi off for a second.

Hitomi: You don't even know me!

Hitomi used a force field to get Yoshiho off of her and put some distance between them.

Yoshiho: I know enough. I know that you're weak, and doubtful, and unbelievably unsure of yourself, and yet... and yet...

Yoshiho's voice came out strained, as if she was about to cry.

Yoshiho: ...Why do you deserve the love and support of your parents when you can't even do anything?!

That caught Hitomi off-guard.

Hitomi: (thoughts) What do my parents have to do with this...?

Yoshiho: Talking about how your parents will always be there for you... how you didn't think you'd be here without them... It disgusts me.

Yoshiho was looking down at the ground, as if frozen in place. Hitomi only stared back at her, the test momentarily forgotten.

Yoshiho: You have friends, and no one looks at you as if you're a mistake...

Yoshiho launched herself at Hitomi again, screaming as she flew towards her.

Yoshiho: YOU'RE NOT BLAMED FOR YOUR BROKEN FAMILY!!

Hitomi narrowly avoided her, diving out of the way and making a path for herself to cross the river. She crawled along it, making her way to the forest. As Yoshiho skidded to a stop, she glared at Hitomi from the other side of the riverbank.

Yoshiho: You were blessed with a quirk that matched your parents'... and you can't even use it to fight me.

She stumbled slightly, her gaze falling to the ground as she held onto one of her gauntlets.

Yoshiho: You're so weak. If I can beat you, it'll just be another thing that I can use to prove them wrong. I'll get my license, become one of the greatest heroes in existence, and finally make my scummy parents eat their words.

Hitomi faltered, processing what Yoshiho had said.

Hitomi: (thoughts) Scummy parents...?

Yoshiho: So...

Yoshiho looked back up at Hitomi, her eyes so filled with rage Hitomi would say she almost looked murderous. 

Yoshiho: Stop running away like the useless person you are, won't you? Make this fight actually worthwhile.

Hitomi flinched at her words, taking a step back.

Hitomi: (thoughts) She has family issues, just like Todoroki.

Yoshiho: But what really pissed me off about is what you did to Y/N! 

Yoshiho aimed her fist at her again, a gravity pulse shooting from her hand. Hitomi narrowly dodged it, seeing it destroy some of the trees.

Hitomi: (thoughts) She's too strong!

Yoshiho: He was the only one who truely helped me and made me his friend! Overtime, I even had feelings for him and I confessed only to hear him say his heart belonged to you! But I saw how you treated him and how you didn't value him! Then I heard you had sex with Bakugo as my hatred grew. Once she found he died, my hatred with notion and didn't went to U.A because you and Bakugo are on it. And once I found out Y/N is alive, I would've join him. 

Hitomi: (thoughts) She knows all of that? And she had feelings for Y/N?

Yoshiho launched another gravity pulse at Hitomi, the bluenette having no time to dodge. All she could do was make a force field and let herself get pushed back into her own wall, feeling as if the air was knocked out of her lungs.

When the attack finally settled, Hitomi fell to the ground, panting. She stared at the ground, her eyebrows furrowing as she felt herself get annoyed.

There was only so much Hitomi could assume. But if what she'd figured turned out to be true, and this whole situation was what she thought it was... Hitomi wasn't just gonna let herself be someone else's punching bag.

Hitomi: Who cares what your parents think?!

Yoshiho: Of course someone like you would say something like that! (clenching her fists) You spent years living in a blissful lie! Always getting told you were worth something! 

You didn't live with the weight of your parents telling you would never amount to anything! 

Hitomi's hunch was confirmed, the girl getting up from the ground as her fists clenched.

Hitmoi: (thoughts) She's hurt. Just like Y/N. Those two do have something in command, they both have hard lives with terrible parents. 

Hitomi couldn't even begin to imagine what Yoshino's life was like. Hitomi's eyes glowed, the air getting warmer as she launched a force field at Yoshiho. The Shiketsu student jumped out of the way, launching herself with her quirk and leaving some cracks in the ground.

Hitomi: And you believe all that?

She saw Yoshiho flinch slightly, the girl fumbling her landing. She stumbled a little bit, looking surprised for only a moment before she shook her head, her eyes narrowing. 

Yoshiho: Why would I believe it?!

Yoshiho launched another gravity pulse at Hitomi, Hitomi diving to the side as she felt her hair billow behind her. She rolled on the ground, sliding along the dirt. Hitomi groaned, before staring back at Yoshiho, a look of realization in her silver eyes.

Hitomi: (getting up) ...Because you're scared. 

Yoshiho froze, her eyes wide in bewilderment. Hitomi took that chance to attack, forming a large wall and blasting it at the Shiketsu student. Yoshiho recoiled, having no time to dodge and holding her hands up in an attempt to block it. The force field hit her hard, pushing her back as her feet slid across the ground before it finally dissipated.

Yoshiho slowly lowered her arms, a hateful look in her eyes. 

Yoshiho: Why would I be scared?

Hitomi gulped, feeling as if she was prying into matters she knew nothing about. In a way, that was exactly what she was doing. But there was something in Hitomi that made her continue.

Hitomi: You're scared... because you're afraid it's all true.

Yoshiho balked, dashing forward and catapulting herself towards Hitomi.

Yoshiho: DON'T TALK SO MINDLESSLY ABOUT THINGS YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT!!!

Hitomi made a force field around herself on instinct, seeing the soles of Yoshiho's boots as the girl landed on top of the barrier. The cuffs around Yoshiho's wrist glowed, right as Hitomi felt herself get pushed into the ground. 

The world was rumbling around her, Hitomi getting pushed deeper and deeper into the soil. The immense pressure was making it hard to breathe.

Yoshiho: 

Hitomi was struggling, gasping for air as she heard the ground crack beneath her. Somehow, though, she found the voice in her throat to speak. 

Hitomi: You... you're afraid. You're afraid they're right... you're afraid you really are worthless.

The gravity increased, Hitomi sinking deeper into the ground. She needed to get Yoshiho away from her. Hitomi drew in more heat, the air getting hotter as her force field expanded rapidly in size.

Yoshiho was launched back, landing on the other side of the river as Hitomi sat up abruptly. She panted, taking in deep breaths as she could finally breathe again. Hitomi got up from the ground, albeit wobbily, stumbling slightly. 

Hitomi: You were right... I did ruin his life, I... I failed to protect him, let alone save him. Just like I failed to save Nari... But, I was blackmailed into doing it. Did I broke Y/N's heart? Yes. Did I regret it? Yes. Because it made me feel like I was the villain who created another. But... Despite that, I want to make things right. I want to apologize and tell him how I truely feel. I want to be a hero so I can save him, and I guess that's also another reason you want to be a hero, right? 

Yoshiho: ...

Hitomi: You're scared, (cradling her arm) that you're useless... You're scared... that they'll look at you, and realize they're right. 

God, how ironic. They were both afraid of the exact same thing.

Hitomi took a deep breath, finally finding the courage to look back at the other girl. Yoshiho was scowling at her, the shadow of her hat giving her a dark look in her eyes.

But to Hitomi, at least, there was something that told her it was fake. There was something that told her... that Yoshiho's hateful resolve was slipping.

Hitomi: I don't know why you have it out for me so bad... (backing into the forest) or what your family's scandal is... I don't know what they've told you... or the things you've been through...

Hitomi wobbled, placing a hand on one of the tree trunks to balance herself.

Hitomi: But, whatever your parents did to you...

She backed into the shadows of the trees, stepping over the roots.

Hitomi: ...you're more than what they say you are.

With that, she turned and ran into the forest, disappearing into the trees as she left Yoshiho to stare at her in shock.

Hitomi: (thoughts) I'm not strong enough to go up against someone like her. It seemed like she has some personal issues she's struggling with, but... I have a test to focus on first. 

(time-skip) 

Hitomi made her way back to the reception room, breathing a sigh of relief. After her run-in with Yoshiho, Hitomi managed to find two people in a secluded area, trapping them in force fields and tapping their targets. 

She had done it while there was only 20 open slots left to pass, and hoped the rest of her class had made it through.As she put her targets and bag onto the return shelf, her mind drifted back to the auburn-haired girl.

Hitomi: (thoughts) I wonder if she was able to pass... If she was a first-year skilled enough to participate with the second-years, and is on the same caliber as that Yoarashi guy, who's supposedly better than Todoroki, she should've been able to, right...?

Even though Hitomi could tell the Shiketsu girl pretty much hated her, it was obvious there was more behind that hate. The girl had mentioned her family, and based on what she'd said to Hitomi...

There was way more to them than Yoshiho had let on.

(with Arc) 

Meanwhile with Arc's group, he, Izuku, Ochaco, and Sero fight the group near the, and knocked down a few people by having Arc and Izuku luring them in and had Sero restrained them and Ochaco using her quirk to lift them and knock them down.

Arcturus: Good work, guys. Time to score points.

Examinee: You guys are first years, right? C'mon, can't you give us a break? We have to earn our provisional hero licenses this time around.

His plea falls on deaf ears as Arc takes his targets out and the others do the same to their opponents.

Arcturus: Sorry, but so do I. It's nothing personal, but I can't afford to wait.

Their markers glow blue and were informed to head to the meet up spot. Once they arrive, they see most of their classmates were there.

Arcturus: Hey, gang!

Shuri: There you are. I thought you'd be one of the first ones here.

Kaminari: But check it! UA representing!

Ochaco: You know it!

She and a couple others start dancing around and Arc notices Katsuki passing by Izuku and the boy looking shocked.

Arcturus: You okay, Izuku?

Izuku: (nervous) Y-Yeah. I'm fine.

Hitomi: (arrived) You made it!

Arcturus: I'm glad to see you did too! How did it go? 

Hitomi: (scratched her cheek, looking away) I actually ran into someone from Shiketsu...

Kirishima: Woah, no way! Me, Kaminari, and Bakugou did too! Were you by yourself?

Hitomi: Ah, yeah... I ended up running away, actually. I wonder if she's here...

Hitomi glanced around the room, looking for a Shiketsu hat and auburn hair. She found her, leaning against the wall with her arms crossed, not talking to anyone. Kirishima followed her gaze, his eyes widening with recognition. 

Kirishima: That's Koatsu... she's one of the first-years, right?

Hitomi: Yeah... she's really strong, and that's why I decided to run away. But, uh... can you tell me what exactly that whole... 'family scandal' thing is all about?

Arcturus: Now that you mention it, I'm also curious about it as well. 

Kirishima stared at the girl from across the room for a moment, before he turned back to Hitomi and Arc. 

Kirishima: Well, I'd feel weird talking about it when she's right there, but... I'll give you the short version. Y'know the Koatsu Support Company?

Hitomi: No... 

Arcturus: I do. (eyes widened) Wait. Don't tell me she's...

Kirishima: (nodded) Yeah. She's the daughter of the CEO. Well, supposedly, I guess.

Hitomi: Supposedly...?

Kirishima: (glanced at the girl again, looking wary) Basically, what happened is that there were accusations of cheating between the CEO and his wife, and because it was the husband doing the accusing, his wife and daughter got the short end of the stick. It was a big thing when it happened a few years ago, and there've been tons of rumors and speculation over whether she's really his daughter or not.

Arcturus: So his CEO accused his wife of cheating him and left both her and his daughter? What an asshole. (thoughts) It reminds of Y/N's abusive step-dad.  

Hitomi stared at the auburn-haired girl, thinking back on their fight.

Yoshino: You're not blamed for your broken family!

There was still so much Hitomi didn't know about her, but now Hitomi had an idea of what those words meant.

As they walk in, Arc sees Wanda.

Arcturus: Wanda, hey! Glad to see you passed.

Wanda: Had some help from the others. Not surprised you're late as usual.

Arcturus: I haven't been in a while, so this is a first. Are the rest of us here?

Wanda: Not yet. Only 9 are missing.

Arcturus: Well, nothing we can do now but just hope they're okay.

Arc then notices Wanda still looking off.

Arcturus: Is everything alright?

Wanda: What's it to you? You're actually caring for once?

Arcturus: What's that supposed to mean?

Wanda: Nothing. (walks away) I'm gonna catch up with Izuku. I'm glad that he's made that quirk his own like he promised.

That sentence makes Arc stop and looks shocked by that. 

Arcturus: (thoughts) What did she just say?! Don't tell me Izuku told her!

Wanda: He didn't. (Arc's eyes widen) If you wanna know, let's meet at the training ground when this is over.

She leaves and Arc was still left in shock. 

(short-timeskip) 

After a bit of people holding their breath, the rest of the students passed and all of UA passed. Everyone who didn't passed was sent to the bleachers to watch the rest of the test. The 100 who did would now be ready for the next round of the test. 

To their surprise, the entire testing arena exploded and they were told that they would partake in rescue excises to save people in the area. This round of the test would help the students demonstrate their rescuing capabilities as though this was a real scenario.

They then saw people dressed as children and elderly entering the area. These are from the Help Us Company (HUC) and are professionally trained to help sell the idea that this is a serious situation and people need help. 

They'll also serve as a way to judge the students on how they keep them safe. And finally, they'll be scored points, and if they have more points than the benchmark by the time the exercise ends, they pass the exam. They have 10 minutes before it begins.

As Arc was hanging out when all the sudden, Mineta and Kaminari charge to him.

Mineta: What were you doing while the rest of us were just trying to stay alive, you bastard?!  

Kaminari: Was this entire test nothing but a joke for you?!

Arcturus: Both of you calm down! Why are you oppressing me?!

Mineta: Don't play stupid with us! (points to the girl from before) What devious things were you doing with that uber hottie?!

Said girl was just staring at them for a moment before she giggles and waves at Arc.

Mineta: (shrieks, crying) The casual greeting exchange between a man and a woman whose sexual relationship has advanced several bases! 

aminari: (irritated) Just how Plus Ultra did you end up going with her?! 

*WHAM! (x2)*

Both the boys were on the ground with smoke coming from their heads and Arc looking extremely irritated.

Arcturus: First off, screw Sero for phrasing it like that. Secondly, that was her quirk and she was trying to get me to fail.

They then notice Shiketsu students were approaching them.

Mora: Bakugo.

Katsuki: What?

Mora: I think you met Shishikura in the test. My classmate with the flesh-molding power?  

Katsuki: Yeah. I took him out.

Mora: I thought so. I'm guessing he may have acted rudely, or perhaps offended you. He has a tendency to try and push his own values onto others. He probably couldn't help it in your case, since you're pretty famous. I apologize for him. I'd like to build a good relationship between our schools.

Mineta: I-I guess he wants to be friends.

Izuku: So he says. But the way they were fighting, it didn't seem that way.

Mora: Anyway. That's it.

They then leave, but not before Todoroki calls out to Inasa.

Todoroki: Hey, you with the collar. Did I offend you somehow?

Instead of the usual excitement he has, Inasa glares at Todoroki with pure hatred.

Inasa: Oh, no, I'm sorry. Did I hurt your feelings? Well, the thing is, son of Endeavor...

Todoroki: (small gasp)

Inasa: I just can't help but hate both of you. You've changed a little bit since the first time our paths crossed. But you definitely still have your father's eyes.

Todoroki gasps again as he's once again reminded of his connection with his father. And based off of this guy's behavior, it sounds like Endeavor did something. Before something could happen, Mora calls Inasa over and they leave.

Arcturus: You okay, Todoroki?

Todoroki: My father's eyes...

Girl: (to Arc) See you out there.

Arcturus: Yeah, you too.

The girl leaves and Kaminari and Mineta were about to question him again.

Arcturus: (without looking) I will put you both in body casts if you speak.

They were smart enough to get the message. Just then, Arc, Izuku, and Wanda looked at the screen which changed and reveals a strange figure who is a girl that has a white hair with red strike that it's covered her right eye, her eyes were changing colors between red and blue.

Izuku: What the...

Wanda: Who is that? 

???: Congratulations, Deku. Lightning. Crimson Sorceress. My name is Sage, and I am proud to see how far you three have become. 

Then she brings some kind of a diamond shape piece. 

Izuku: What is that?

Sage: I hope that one day, we will meet each other again, Izuku Midoriya. Arcturus Farron. Wanda Maximoff. 

Then the video ends with an egg man symbol.

Arcturus and Wanda: Who was that?

The next thing they knew, the bell goes off and the announcer tells them the test is starting. The whole room breaks like the first one, and they all stand ready. And as soon as he said began, everyone runs out to begin rescuing.

Cynthia, who was watching back at home, widen her eyes as she recognizes the symbol. 

Cynthia: So you finally showed up. But who or what did you made this time?

Elseware, the cloaked figure was calling to someone, and the person who ended the call was Dr Eggman.

He smiled at a photo of him and his frenemies, Arc's parents: Claire and Richard. 

Dr. Eggman: Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. And I hope you can find him, and protect him no matter what... my full-blooded daughter Sage.

Chapter 25 ended. 

That was chapter was emotional and intense. Yoshiho's life is similar to Y/N's. And that battle pushed Hitomi to becoming a better person for not only herself, but Y/N too. 

The reason why I added Dr. Eggman and Sage it's because since the character Shadow and Maria are in it. I figured, why won't they appeared in this story as well?
