Chapter 16: A Big Lesson for three
Last time on My Hero Academia: The Pirated Legacy of Earth's First Heroes, the Gokaigers faced Ninjaman's old enemies, the Yokai, thanks to Neo Zangyack's help reviving them. However, thanks to the powers of the Kakuranger Keys and old friends from the past, the Gokaigers and Ninjaman were able to defeat the Yokai. With that being said how will everyone return to U.A. after the training camp incident fair?
U.A Academy
It has been a long summer vacation since the last Neo Zangyack attack and supposed League of Villian assault. Things have changed since the incident, and for the better. After that debacle, both hero classes became rivals and allies and turned their toxic rivalry into a friendly one. Things sure change a lot in a year but it just means that things are looking good. Now, walking into the academy was the pro hero Mirko who was seen smiling that she finally got time off to see her rival. Students were shocked to see a top-rank hero in their school.
Mirko: Finally, after getting some time off, I can go see Akira.
As Mirko was walking down the hall the sounds of running could be heard.
Pony: Last one there is an ugly Dorodoro!
Bakugo: Like hell, I am last!
Mirko saw Class 1-A and Class 1-B running down the halls, which made the rabbit hero jump as the kids were moving fast. Mirko then safely landed on the ground and sighed with relief.
Mirko: What the heck was that about?
Nezu: Mirko, a lovely surprise to see you here. Care to tell me why your here?
Nezu being the curious chimera at the rabbit hero.
Mirko: I am here to see Akira for his history class on those Super Sentai.
When Mirko said that, Nezu smiled and understood.
Nezu: Well this is a shocker, we will enjoy the lesson because the students love going to his class. He is only a few classes from the hall.
Mirko: Got it, well see you later.
Mirko then walks down the hall and heads to the class. As she made it down she found the room she was looking for and opened it to see both classes having fun while Bakugo and Benjiro were having an argument.
Bakugo: I am telling you this lesson involves different worlds!
Benjiro: There is more to it than different worlds, Bakugo it must be something more!
Both teens were arguing as they pointed toward the decorations. The room had prisms hanging from the ceiling in the shape of planets. Lining the walls were a multitude of clocks, some analog, others digital. Finally statues of a Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Mammoth, Sabertooth Tiger, and Pterodactyl sat on Akira's desk. Mirko looks in awe at the decoration but then sees Akira and was about to say hello until someone beat her to the punch.
????: Cool, this classroom is really lively!
Everyone turned around to see a girl with blue hair who was excited followed by two male teens and a hero that had a cowboy gimmick.
The blonde teen was Mirio Togata, the blue-haired girl was Nejire Hado, the quiet-looking teen was Tamaki Amajiki and together they were the Big Three of U.A Academy and the cowboy hero was Pro Hero Snipe, their homeroom teacher.
Snipe: You three best introduce yourselves.
Nejire simply gives a playful smile until she notices Mirko.
Nejire: Oh my god you're Mirko I am a huge fan. What's it like being the strongest female pro hero? Do you really go hard on villains?
Nejire started asking so many questions it made the rabbit hero's head hurt until Tamaki stopped.
Tamaki: Nejire, stop you shouldn't just start rapid firing questions like that.....
Mirio: Sorry, about her, she is quite hyperactive.
Mirko: Noted, also I didn't know I wasn't the only one coming to this class.
Snipe: Nezu insisted that U.A's Big Three should learn about these heroes Kurose-Sensei knows so much about. Especially since that Pirate Captain was nearly placed in my class due to his age.
When Mirko heard that everyone looked ar Marvelous surprised.
Pony: Why would he be in the third-year class?
Marvelous: Wait, did none of you realize I was eighteen years old?
When Marvelous said that everyone was shocked except for his crewmates.
Benjiro: I think we forgot to tell everyone that Marvelous was older than all of us.
Class 1-A and Class 1-B: You think!!!
Benjiro hid in his seat, getting angry eyes from his classmates. The door to the classroom opened as Akira walked in, he was dressed in what could be described as medieval style clothing, a pocket watch in the pocket of the gray coat he wore. In his finger was a ring with a noticeable prism in it.
Mirko: Akira is that you?
Akira: Yes, I suppose I never mentioned I enjoy decorating my classroom and of course dressing up when teaching. History is much more enjoyable with visuals after all.
Nejire started to look excited as she was liking this class.
Nejire: So your Kurose-Sensei the history teacher that teaches about Earth's first hero teams?
Akira: Yes, a pleasure to meet U.A's Big Three. You are free to sit wherever you like in class. Today we will be covering three teams. I will get to today's topic once everyone is ready.
When Akira said that everyone was already in their seats which shocked Mirko, Snipe, and the Big three.
Mirio: Wow, these students must love your class Kurose-Sensei.
Akira: I'm just happy that everyone has fun. Now to start today's lesson, I would like to pose a question. If you found yourself in unfamiliar territory, say a different country. Would you lay down your life to protect it as if it were your home?
When Akira said that everyone started to think about that question.
Koda: I mean that is a hard one, Kurose-Sensei.
Akira: That is an understandable response, Koda, however that is what these three Sentai Teams share in common. Despite being in unfamiliar territory here on earth for a multitude of reasons, they were still willing to lay down their lives to protect this planet.
Everyone looked surprised by this and were now curious about the three sentai teams they were about to learn from their Sensei.
Mirko: I don't get it, aren't all the Super Sentai protectors of Earth?
Akira: Yes, but that doesn't mean they are all from earth or in some cases at the right point in time. That second part will make sense as we continue the lesson I promise.
The Class became silent and Akira started teaching the lesson.
Akira: Join me as we travel back to the year 1986 and shine like a Supernova with Choushinsei Flashman!
Akira then pulled up a picture of a Sentai team wearing space motif uniforms with helmets that appeared to have goggles on them.
Manga: So what's their story about this Team Kurose-Sensei?
Akira: This story begins in 1966, twenty years prior to the Flashman's battle. Five human babies were abducted from planet earth by the Alien Hunters. They were going to deliver these infants to the Reconstructive Experiment Empire Mess. An empire that took over countless planets, seeing life forms as fodder for experiments. They would use the DNA of all the species that they conquered to create monsters, all with the goal of creating the perfect lifeform.
Once Akira was finished everyone looked horrified as this team was abducted as infants.
Mirko: What the hell!
Snipe: An entire empire that experimented on countless lifeforms just to create a perfect being? I thought we dealt with some sick individuals.
Akira: The infants however were rescued by the Flash Alien race and brought to the Flash Solar System. The five were raised separately from one another, each of them developing superhuman abilities from their time and training on the alien planets.
Jaws dropped learning that information as that was something they weren't expecting.
Nejire: Wow, so they got their powers by training on alien worlds, pretty sci-fi Kurose-Sensei.
Akira: Yes it is, however when Mess set its sights on earth twenty years later in 1986 they quickly returned to defend the planet they were born on, despite knowing nothing about it and the inherent risk of them setting foot back on earth.
Everyone looked amazed by this information as to why the Flashman would aid them if they had never been to Earth.
Itsuka: They were willing to defend a planet they knew nothing about just like that?
Akira: The Flashmen had two goals in mind. Defeat Mess and hopefully reunite with their birth parents. However they had to be quick as they only had a year to accomplish these goals.
Everyone looked at Akira confused as to why they needed to defeat Mess in one year.
Mirio: Isn't that a little short of time to defeat the alien empire, Kurose-Sensei?
A grim expression spread across Akira's face, this part wouldn't be easy.
Akira: Due to them being raised in the Flash Solar System, Earth's atmosphere was alien to the Flashmen. This led to a condition called the Anti-Flash Phenomenon, if the Flashmen did not leave earth when the year time limit was up, earth's atmosphere would become lethally toxic to them, ending their lives.
Once Akira said that the whole class was shocked and amazed by this information.
Uraraka: They knew the risk but went to Earth anyway to help us?
Izumi: Kurose-Sensei said they wanted to find their birth parents. I guess despite not knowing who their parents were, them being on earth was enough of a reason for them to protect it.
Akira: The Flashmen didn't want Mess abducting anymore children from their families like what happened with them. Despite the risk, the five landed on earth and waged war on Mess. Using their weapons, ability to craft prism weapons from their time in the Flash Solar system, vehicles, and of course their Mecha they combated every monster that Mess sent to attack earth. In between these battles the five would desperately search for clues to who their birth parents were, hoping to at least get to meet who should have been their families.
The class felt terrible for the Flashmen as they did not only try to save their planet but find their families.
Mirko: Those aliens are evil for taking them away from their families.
Snipe: They won at the very least, after all planet earth is still here and governed by humans.
Everyone looked at Akira wanting more answers from him about the Flashmen.
Ibara: Is Snipe-Sensei right Kurose-Sensei?
Akira: Yes, however it came down to the wire. With a single day remaining, the Flashmen executed their final assault on Mess. With each passing hour their bodies got weaker and weaker. Despite this they managed to destroy Mess, however only five minutes remained and the Flashmen's bodies were starting to fail. At the last moment their ship piloted by their robot assistant got them off of planet earth. Sara, Yellow Flash having to tearfully bid farewell to her birth parents, only learning of her relation to them that day. The Flashmen swore to return to earth together one day, hoping to find their families.
Once Akira was done speaking everyone was silent but also found respect for the Sentai Team that was willing to help their planet even if it wasn't their own.
Mirio: Those Flashmen were really heroes, Kurose-Sensei.
Akira: Yes, and they returned to earth again in 2011 to fight alongside the other thirty-three Sentai teams against the Zangyack's first invasion. Despite not being raised here on earth, they were still a part of the legacy of earth's first heroes.
The class smiled and was also thankful for the Flashmen's contribution to their planet.
Mirko: So is that it or is there more Akira?
Akira: Next we will be disguising another team. I'm sure most of you remember when we covered the Abarangers, correct? I stated they were the second Dinosaur Sentai Team. Today however we will be taking a look at the first Sentai Team to harness the power of Dinosaurs.
Everyone looked curious as they were going to learn about the first dinosaur Sentai Team.
Monoma: Kurose-Sensei, how would this team fit the theme of not being part of earth if they were born on our planet?
Akira: Well I suppose falling into a deep sleep and waking up in unfamiliar times would count would it not?
Eyes widened upon hearing that information as this was something they didn't expect.
Kinoko: T-They fell asleep and woke up and the world was different?
Akira: Yes, now join me as we travel back to the year 1992 and hear the tale of Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger!
Akira pulled up a new image, this one displaying a team themed after dinosaurs. The dinosaurs in question were a Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Mammoth, Saber Tooth Tiger, and Pteranodon.
Nejire: Cool, so this is the first Dinosaur Sentai Team they all look incredible!
Akira: Yes, but before we talk about the events of 1992 we must travel back 170 million years into the past. Back in prehistoric times five human tribes peacefully coexisted with the dinosaurs. Each tribe was protected by one of the five Guardian Beasts. However a witch by the name of Bandora started war with the dinosaurs due to the death of her son Kai. Bandora had sold her soul to the powerful Dai-Satan, granting her immense magical power. The five Guardian Beasts managed to seal Bandora and her minions away on the planet Nemesis. However the five tribes were destroyed and the dinosaurs went extinct, however five warriors, one from each tribe, were put in suspended animation. The Guardian Beasts going into hibernation after using up so much power. They would be awakened if Bandora was ever set free from her imprisonment.
Everyone's eyes widened hearing this information but more so that they were kept asleep for that long period of time.
Shoda: 170 million years! How is that even possible for them to not die from old age?
Akira: As I said, Suspended Animation. This means all five were essentially frozen in time, their bodies not aging despite the world around them changing while they slumbered.
Everyone looked amazed by this information but now where curious how they made it to the modern age.
Momo: So how exactly did the Zyuranger awaken in modern times, Kurose-Sensei?
Akira: In 1992, the planet Nemesis once again ended up near planet earth, two astronauts exploring the planet accidentally opened the seal imprisoning Bandora and her minions. Bandora set her sights on earth, with intentions of conquering it. Mysterious Sage Barza encountering the witch entered the underground lair beneath the apartment he was a caretaker for. There he awakened the five warriors, using their Dino Bucklers they transformed into the Zyurangers and began their battle against Bandora, her Dora Monsters, and Golem Soldiers. However the modern world was alien to them, they spent a large amount of time learning how to live in the modern day when not fighting.
Once Akira was done talking, the class was now glued to their seats as they wondered how the five warriors handled themselves in their world.
Tsuyu: Kurose-Sensei, did the Zyurangers have anyone to guide them through the modern world, ribbit?
Akira: Well apart from Mysterious Sage Barza, they had the guidance of Daizyuzin, the combined form of the Five Guardian Beasts that was in actuality the physical form of the god the five ancient tribes worshiped.
My eyes widen hearing that the combined Five Guardian Beasts was the god of the five ancient tribes.
Tooru: Wow, that is a lot to take in, Kurose-Sensei. So did Daizyuzin teach the Zyurangers while working with them?
Akira: He mostly gave them guidance on their quest to become heroes. However the Zyurangers did eventually face a major threat, one that had connections to Geki, TyrannoRanger, the leader of the team. A threat that on more than one occasion defeated all the Zyurangers single-handedly.
Everyone looked at Akira surprised by this information as to who could defeat the Zyurangers single-handedly.
Snipe: Who could do that much damage to these five? Did Bandora cook up some really nasty monster?
Akira sighed before pulling up a new image this one displaying a green ranger, his helmet themed after a dragon, a golden shield on his chest and a dagger holstered on his hip.
Class 1-A and Class 1-B: Another Evil Sentai Member!
Mirko, Big Three, and Snipe looked at the hero students not understanding what was going on.
Mirko: What do you mean, another Evil Sentai Member aren't the Super Sentai heroes?
Akira: Ah yes, well you see the second Dinosaur Sentai had AbareKiller, who was not an ally of the main team, but an enemy. AbareKiller did eventually join the team, but did not start out that way.
The Big Three, Snipe, and Mirko looked shocked by this information.
Tamaki: S-So not all of them were good?
Akira: Well to say DragonRanger or AbareKiller were evil would be a stretch. However there were times throughout Sentai History where villains did create evil Sentai teams to combat the Sentai Team that opposed them.
Once again, Mirko, Big Three, and Snipe were shocked by this information.
Nejire: Kurose-Sensei why did DragonRanger fight the Zyurangers I mean he was in the same tribe as Geki correct?
Akira: Yes, but despite Geki being the prince of his tribe, he was adopted. Geki and Burai share a father, the Black Knight who attempted a rebellion against the Yamato Tribe Leader. He was executed for his crimes. Burai could not forgive this and was exiled. When he awoke from his suspended animation, he had one goal in mind, revenge. Since Geki was the only surviving member of the Yamato Royal Family, he was Burai's primary target.
When Akira finished his talk everyone looked horrified by this information.
Mirko: That is bullshit, it wasn't Geki's fault. He had no idea! Also, what kind of sick person would kill their own family? They are blood, aren't they?
Akira: Someone who lost the only family he had his entire life. Burai defeated the Zyurangers multiple times, allying with Bandora to achieve his revenge. He was the most powerful of the Zyurangers, his shield giving him heightened defenses and his short sword, the Zyusouken that doubled as a flute could play a song that reflected attacks off his Dragon Shield and summon and command his Guardian Beast, Dragon Caesar.
Everyone's eyes widen hearing that while also amazed by the power the DragonRanger possesses.
Mineta: Kurose-Sensei how did the DragonRanger become part of the Zyurangers if he hated them?
Akira: Wielding the Sword Hellfriede, Geki and Burai had one final clash, Geki eventually managing to defeat his older brother. However when Daizyuzin ordered Geki to strike Burai down, he refused. Burai taking the opportunity attempted to strike his brother down, however Geki said if it would quell the rage in his brother's heart, he would allow him to take his life. Burai realizing his brother truly cared about him, gave up on his quest for revenge. Daizyuzin, acknowledging this change, declared Burai the sixth Zyuranger, Burai becoming the first sixth Ranger in Sentai history.
Everyone looked in shock upon hearing this information and smiled as the feud was over.
Nejire: That is awesome I bet together they defeated that nasty witch right?
A sober look spread across Akira's face, he hated this part.
Akira: Burai, was a unique case. Prior to Barza awakening the other warriors, an earthquake hit the chamber containing Burai, killing him while in suspended animation. Daizyuzin foreseeing Burai as necessary to the Zyurangers victory over Bandora made a deal with Clotho, the Spirit of Life. She granted Burai more time to live. Upon awakening she warned him he only had thirty eight hours of life. She took him to the Lapless Room where time did not pass, this is where he resided when he wasn't fighting the other Zyurangers or Bandora after he joined the team. A Green Candle represented Burai's remaining time, when it melted completely, he would die.
The Big Three, Snipe, and Mirko looked horrified while both hero classes looked sad.
Mirko: Why are you kids not finding this horrifying?
Itsuka: AbareKiller died as well, his Dino Minder was unstable and he and his partner Top Gale flew out into space before the explosion could damage the city.
The Big Three, Snipe, and Mirko looked even more horrified as these heroes died in battle.
Mirio: Kurose-Sensei, is death normal for Super Sentai Teams?
Akira: It happened less and less as time went on, but there were those who died protecting earth. However Burai as I said was a unique case, everytime he left the Lapless Room, the timer on his remaining life would start again. Due to Bandora creating stronger and stronger monsters, Burai was forced to leave the room more frequently, whittling away his time. Bandora eventually learned of this weakness, devising plans to force Burai to waste as much of his remaining time as possible.
The class was silent hearing this information and some got angry at the witch's involvement in Burai's death.
Bakugo: That hag how dare she! She used his weakness against him after everything he went through to be forgiven by his own brother.
Akira: This came to a head when a monster disguised itself as Dragon Caesar, forcing Burai out to stop its rampage. Bandora then destroyed the Lapless Room, forcing Burai to use up the last of his time. The other Zyurangers found an elixir to prolong one's life, but it would have no effect on him. Burai, his time running out, begged them to give it to a boy who was supposed to die with him in a vision he had. Burai passed on his Dragon Shield and the Zyusouken to Geki, allowing him to utilize his boosted defense and summon Dragon Caesar. Burai then passed away in his brother's arms. When he arrived in front of the Grim Reaper, he was relieved the young boy did not perish with him.
Once Akira was done talking everyone took a moment of silence to respect the fallen Super Sentai.
Snipe: I didn't think the situation was this bad for them, these guys are made of tougher stuff then a lot of us Pros I would wager.
Akira: Yes, despite the loss of Burai, the Zyurangers pressed on, eventually defeating Bandora and sealing her away once again. With their mission completed, the Zyyurangers ascended to heaven, their time on earth finally was finally over.
The class smiled hearing the Zyurangers winning the battle even with what was lost.
Mirko: It's funny I used to think working with other heroes made you weak but I was wrong. Working with people doesn't make you weak but it helps you grow. So Akira you got another Super Sentai team for us to learn from?
Akira: Yes, this team is another unique case as they are from earth, but a version of earth none of us will see.
Everyone looked at Akira wondering what he meant by that.
Ibara: Are they from a different dimension, Kurose-Sensei?
Akira: Join me as we travel back to the year 2000 at the turn of the Millennium and learn to live for the moment with Mirai Sentai Timeranger!
Akira pulled up an image of a new team, this one had arrows on their helmets and looked rather futuristic in design.
Everyone looked confused hearing the Super Sentai Team's name.
Sero: Timeranger? Do they stop time or something Kurose-Sensei?
Akira: Before we talk about their battle, we must travel to a different point in time, the 30th Century to be exact.
The class was silent for a moment before all hell broke loose.
Everyone: 30th century!!!
The class yelled hearing that the Timerangers were from the 30th Century of all places.
Izuku: Kurose-Sensei, are you saying the Timerangers were Time travelers?!
Akira: In the 30th Century time travel had been outlawed due to a Time Paradox Crisis. The Time Protection Department, a special branch of the police apprehended anyone who attempted time travel. However notorious crime boss Don Dolnero and his gang tricked the TPD into letting them time travel to the 20th Century in a maximum security prison to commit various crimes in the 20th Century. Four Cadets, TimePink, TimeGreen, TimeYellow, and TimeBlue all pursued Don Dolnero in his gang to the 20th century. However their Chrono Changers would only function with five members. They recruit Tatsuya Asami, a martial artist and heir to the Asami Corporation, becoming TimeRed to help them apprehend these escaped criminals.
When Akira said that Momo's eyes widened hearing that name.
Momo: Asami cooperation! They helped the Super Sentai too?
Akira: They did not, Tatsuya's father as a result of the Timerangers and Don Dolnero created the City Guardians to combat the criminals themselves. This special police force never existed until the Timerangers arrived in the 20th century and began their mission to apprehend Dolnero.
Once Akira was finished another student asked a question.
Kosei: Kurose-Sensei, did Tatsuya help guide the Timerangers similar to Daizyuzin?
Akira: Tatsuya started a business with them so they could financially support themselves while in the 20th Century. However the most important thing he taught them was to live for the moment, instead of constantly worrying about the future, in other words the 30th Century.
When Akira said that Mirko smiled as she liked the Red Warrior's ideals.
Mirko: I can get behind that idea. So Akira how exactly did the Timerangers handle the criminals of the future?
Akira: The Londerz Family, named after the prison they transported to the 20th Century was filled with hardened criminals, Don Dolnero would free them from Freeze Compression and send them out to commit various crimes in the pursuit of mass wealth.
Everyone looked at Akira if he was joking as the enemy of the Timerangers cared about wealth.
Mirio: He just wanted to obtain a lot of wealth?
Akira: Yes, he is a crime boss after all. In fact despite the Timerangers defeating the criminal he sent out, he would still make money. One of his most brilliant schemes was disguising as a human businessman, buying the land where buildings were destroyed in battles where Time Robo was needed to apprehend an enlarged criminal. Then he would sell the land at incredibly high prices to companies that wanted to build new buildings there.
Jaws dropped hearing that information but also were surprised at how smart the Don was about obtaining wealth.
Jurota: That is a surprisingly brilliant strategy, even if his other schemes failed, his defeat still netted him profit in the end.
Kirishima: Wait, we glossed over something, everyone. Kurose-Sensei, what do you mean by Freeze Compression? What exactly does that do?
Akira: I don't mean to sound cocky, but Londer Prison makes Tartarus look like an escape room by comparison. That is due largely in part to Freeze Compression, the most effective way of imprisonment.
Everyone looked shocked hearing that information and was now curious to hear more.
Mirio: It was that effective Kurose-Sensei?
Akira: Freeze Compression is a simple process, your body is frozen and compressed down to the size of an action figure. You are then stored in a metal capsule and put on a shelf. Once you serve your sentence the process is reversed and you are set free.
When Akira said that everyone was amazed but also felt terrified hearing that type of imprisonment.
Mina: Talk about hardcore, Kurose-Sensei.
Akira: Of course there were prisoners who were sentenced to never be released from being a frozen figurine. These criminals were known as the Hell's Gate Prisoners, locked away for committing the most inhumane acts of the 30th Century.
Some of the gulps heard this information and were scared to ask what atrocities were committed by the future criminals.
Nejire: What were the charges for these criminals, Sensei?
Akira: First we need to talk about Gien, Don Dolnero's right hand, a human he turned into a robot to save his life, which in turn slowly drove him insane. This will become relevant when we talk about the end of the Timeranger's mission. He had the key to the Hell's Gate and would release these prisoners for his own amusement and to kill the Timerangers behind Don Dolnero's back.
When Akira said that, everyone looked shocked by this information but also felt terrified of the cruel robot.
Mirko: By god that is terrifying, poor bastard got the short end of the stick.
Akira: Yes, well let's use the first Hell's Gate Prisoner to be released as an example. Hell's Gate Prisoner Blaster Mad. Before he was apprehended the first time, he killed 1,030 people. Mostly through the use of explosives in the shape of tops. He ended up killing more civilians in the 20th Century before the Timerangers Freeze Compressed him once again.
Horror once again spread across the class, hearing how much blood was dropped by this prisoner. Mirio gripped his fist hearing the lives lost by this monster.
Mirio: Monster, so many lives taken by that madman.
Akira: He's debatably one of the less crazy ones. Another by the name of Emboss was infected with a fatal man-made virus. He enjoyed it however, he would go around biting people, infecting them with the virus, the ultimate goal being to take as many people with him before the disease killed him.
The class started to get scared hearing more of the criminal's crimes and also their insane personalities.
Bakugo: How sick in the head were these criminals?
Akira: They were sentenced to be forever stuck as a frozen statue, never to see the light of day again. Quite literally throwing away the key after locking them up.
Everyone paled upon hearing that information as those were the criminals the Timerangers were facing.
Mina: I think I am going to be sick.
Akira: However a device from the 30th Century ended up getting lost in the 20th Century, the V-Commander. This device could control another robot developed by the TPD, the V-Rex. Both the Timerangers and Dolnero were searching for the device.
Everyone looked surprised hearing that information but also curious about who found the V-Rex first.
Togaru: Kurose-Sensei, who found V-Rex first?
Akira: Neither, it was found by Naoto Takizawa, a former classmate of Tatsuya's who resented him for not appreciating the life he had planned out for him namely his dad and how hard he had to work to get where he was. Despite Tatsuya's warnings, Naoto claimed the V-Commander, becoming the sixth Timeranger.
Akira pulled up a new image, this one of another red ranger, the arrow on his helmet had jagged teeth lining it, his suit having black instead of the white of the other Timerangers. Clutched in his hand was a pistol that looked like a t-rex head.
Everyone looked surprised seeing another Red Sentai Member.
Pony: I thought there was already a Red Timeranger, Sensei?
Akira: This is TimeFire, a more updated version of the original Timeranger program. Armed with the DV Defender which fires powerful laser blasts, when converted into its sword mode and final mode is engaged it can perform Freeze Compression. Something the Timerangers can only perform with their combined cannon or Time Robo.
Everyone looked at TimeFire surprised by this information but then asked another question.
Jiro: Kurose-Sensei, did TimeFire work together with the Timerangers? You said earlier he resented Tatsuya.
Akira: Naoto fought Tatsuya multiple times but over the course of their battles he gained a new found respect for Tatsuya, eventually working with the Timerangers more frequently to apprehend criminals.
The class smiled hearing that as the two finally were working together.
Snipe: So they were able to apprehend the Don Dolnero and return to the future?
Akira: Not quite, Dolnero was murdered by Gien, the last of his sanity finally slipping away. Gien then created a giant robot and unleashed an army of Zenitts onto the city with the plans of destroying it. TimePink, TimeGreen, TimeYellow, and TimeBlue were called back to the 30th Century for unknown reasons. Leaving Tatsuya and Naoto to fight the army.
When Akira said that everyone in the room looked Grim knowing what might happen.
Mirio: Kurose-Sensei, please tell me that both of them lived.
Akira: Naoto, while retrieving a little girl's pet bird, was shot by a Zenitt and fell from the roof. Tatsuya found him not long after. Naoto with the last of his strength turned control of the V-Commander over to Tatsuya, telling him to change his path in life before passing away in his old rival's arms.
Akira sadly looked at everyone in the class, and everyone felt sad as well.
Mirko: Why do the people who try to right their wrongs end up dying? The guy had made amends and just died.
Akira: Naoto was never supposed to die, I now must reveal the true mastermind behind Dolnero's escape and the disappearance of the V-Rex and the V-Commander. Tatsuya's descendant, the commander of the TPD. He witnessed how he would die six years prior to the events of what we discussed. To save himself, he sent the V-Rex and V-Commander off, so that someone else would become TimeFire whenever it was found.
When Akira said that everyone was silent before anger started to fill the room.
Bakugo: MOTHER FUCKER!!! That bastard used Naoto as a scapegoat!!!
Akira: He tried to convince the other four Timerangers it was for the best. Saying that the destruction in the 20th Century improved their lives in the 30th century. TimeBlue's terminal disease had a cure, TimeGreen was no longer the sole survivor of his race, TimeYellow wasn't banned from MMA fighting, and TimePink's family was never murdered by Dolnero due to him dying in the 20th Century.
The reactions of the others got worse as Tatsuya's descendant manipulated everyone in his plans. Sure, the Timerangers got a better life but at the cost of others.
Nejire: So they just accepted Tatsuya's descendant's offer?
Akira: This team is why I chose this lesson topic. Despite being offered perfect lives, the Timerangers refused to let the 20th Century be destroyed. They struggled to escape, Tatsuya's descendant accidentally dying in the struggle for his gun. The four Timerangers took the Time Jets back to the 20th Century, saved Tatsuya from death at the hands of the Zenitt Army and helped him regain control of the V-Rex. Together they destroyed Gien and his giant robot before they said their goodbyes to Tatsuya before being returned to the 30th century. The status of their lives in the 30th Century is unknown as they once again shifted the course of history.
Once Akira was done everyone felt sad but also happy that the Timerangers saved their planet even with the chance for a better life.
Mirko: I wonder if things worked out for all of them? I mean they are from the future, maybe they lived happy lives.
Akira: The Timerangers returned to help fight the Zangyack in 2011. So I imagine their lives worked out, even if they weren't perfect.
Everyone smiled hearing that as that was enough to cheer the class up.
Marvelous: So those are the other two, I'm starting to see why these three had a hand in the Gokai Cellular's creation.
When Marvelous said that everyone looked surprised by that information.
Nejire: Gokai Cellular, what are you talking about, Marvelous? Also, who are you referring to?
Marvelous: The Gokai Cellular is the transformation device of Gokai Silver, our sixth member. It was created by the Spirits of AbareKiller, DragonRanger, and TimeFire. Their respective team's Great Powers function with Gokai Silver's Mecha.
When Marvelous said that the Big Three, Snipe, and Mirko looked shocked hearing this information.
Mirko: There is a sixth member for the Gokaigers?
Marvelous: Yes, his name was Gai Ikari, a fanboy of the Super Sentai and resident of earth. He joined my grandfather's crew after he was given the Gokai Cellular by the spirits of the aforementioned Sixth Rangers for his selfless act of risking his life to save a little girl.
When Marvelous said that Mirko's eyes widened before giving a look at Akira but he pleaded not to say anything.
Nejire: Wow, he must have been awesome as a Gokaiger.
The bell rang as Akira nervously turned towards the class.
Akira: That is all the time we have for today, I thank you all for listening so intently. Please think about the question I asked at the beginning of class and tell me if your viewpoint changed after hearing the histories of these three teams next time we meet.
Class 1-A and Class 1-B: Yes, Sensei!
Both hero classes then started to leave the room but as Marvelous was leaving Nejire blocked his way.
Nejire: Marvelous, right can I ask a favor from you?
Marvelous: It depends, what kind of favor is it?
Nejire smiles and looks at the pirate captain.
Nejire: Can we be friends?
Marvelous: Friends? I mean yeah if you want, it's not like I turned down any of my classmates who've asked me the same thing.
Nejire joyfully hugs Marvelous which surprises Mirio and Tamaki.
Mirio: Well that is something. Nejire doesn't ask people to be friends unless they are interesting.
Tamaki: I mean he's an alien pirate captain who leads a team of our classmates to fight an alien empire. I don't know a lot about interesting things, but that sounds interesting right?
Mirio agreed while Nejire just giggled and hugged Marvelous.
Nejire: This is the start of a beautiful friendship.
Marvelous: If you say so.....
Everyone then leaves the room and as they did Mirko was the only one left in the room who just stared at Akira.
Akira: Before you say anything, I have my reasons for keeping quiet about all this......
Mirko: It better be good Akira because you hid this from me but also your own students.
Akira: Anan doesn't know either, Great Grandpa only told me when he only had a few days left to live. Who would've believed me, Mirko? Everyone thought my Great Grandpa was crazy for believing in heroes of the Quirkless era. When Marvelous arrived and the Gokaigers were reformed, I chose to keep my connection to Gokai Silver a secret.
Mirko was silent but still looked mad at him.
Mirko: Akira, you and your Great Grandfather were right about everything. You have the power to fight alongside the Gokaigers. You literally showed you have the heart of a hero. Why not act on it?
Akira: Why? Mirko that briefcase on my desk? I'm fairly certain it contains the Gokai Cellular, but I can't figure out the combination no matter how hard I try. Besides when I do get it open, the Key will find someone worthy of inheriting the power of Gokai Silver. I promised to support the Gokaigers, so helping them find their Sixth Member is a top priority.
Mirko was silent hearing those words from Akira. Of all the things to say to her this just made her angry.
Mirko: Worthy.....AKIRA YOU DUMBASS!!! YOU'RE THE MOST WORTHY PERSON I KNOW!!!
Akira was taken aback by Mirko's words but then notices something else sadness in her eyes.
Mirko: I believed in you Akira you were always meant to be a hero no matter what anyone told you. Why can't you see that?
Akira: I appreciate the vote of confidence Rumi, but eventually everyone must face the facts of life. I wasn't accepted into the Hero Course, that's proof enough that I'm simply not cut out for hero work.
Mirko looks at Akira before deciding to walk out of his classroom.
Mirko: Akira, I don't know what to tell you but if that is what you believe then I can't change your mind. However, you knew your Great Grandfather the best, what would he think about your choice?
Mirko then leaves the room and Akira is now alone sighing.
Akira: You never even met him, he would want the Gokai Cellular to go to someone worthy of that power.
Akira sat down at his desk, a stinging sensation in his eyes as he attempted to once again crack the code on the briefcase left by his Great Grandfather.
