Even after multiple hours I still sat curled up in the very corner of my room and held myself. There was a knock on the door, and I ignored it.

There had been a couple of knocks on my door in the past hour, my classmates trying to check up on me. But I hadn't answered the door to them either. I was too embarrassed to answer.

"Y/n, I'm coming in." I heard from the doorway and looked over my shoulder to see light flooding in from the hallway. I turned back around and faced the wall as Tokoyami came into the room. "Y/n? What are you doing up there?"

"Chilling." I answered. I felt a nudge and looked to see Dark Shadow floated up to me. I opened my arms and Dark Shadow snuggled into my arms.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Tokoyami asked as I petted his quirk.

"Not really." I answered.

"I got you something." He said, and I looked over my shoulder at him. He held a bag up, and I rolled myself out of my hammock. I landed on my feet and he handed me the bag.

"You didn't have to get me anything." I told him. I opened the bag and pulled out a beautiful cloth mask. "Thank you. It's very pretty."

"Have you applied anything to your wound?" He asked me, and I sat down on my bed.

"You don't have to worry about it." I told him.

"May I see?" He asked as Dark Shadow cuddled into my lap. I reached up and peeled the bandage section of my webbing off of my face. Tokoyami turned a better light on and moved my hair behind my ear. "It's already just a small mark?"

"My silk has a healing factor to it." I told him. "Most cuts and bruises are nothing."

"And do you have experience with those often?" Tokoyami asked me, and I looked away from him.

"I did." I told him, and my hair covered my face again.

"I'm sorry." He told me, and I laughed.

"Why are you apologizing?" I asked him. "You didn't do anything."

"Because no one deserves to go through stuff like that." He answered and sat next to me on my bed. I stroked Dark Shadow's head and we sat there in silence. "Did you eat?" He asked me.

"I'm not very hungry." I said, right after my stomach growled at the idea of food. I sighed and he laughed at me a bit.

"I'll give you some privacy." Tokoyami told me and got off my bed and walked towards my door. "Come on Dark Shadow." He said and walked away practically dragging him out of my room. I laughed and went over to my desk to eat my food.

I peeled my mask away and decided to change into a nightshirt real quick, as the door stayed open. It was late now, so I wasn't expecting anybody. But I didn't pay attention to the feeling of someone coming towards my room.

"Y/n, how are you doing after din-?" I heard and turned to see Shoji standing in my room. And I didn't have my mask or shirt on. Revealing everything.
