They all had to stand there as they watched the building finish crashing down. And when the broken cement settled, Tokoyami didn't wait for the dust to settle as he managed to escape Shoji's arms.

He ran through the dust towards the crumbled building. He climbed up on top, just in time to watch the League of Villains escaping out of the backside of the building.

Kurogiri had managed to free himself and the others from y/n's webbings. While Dabi, Toga, and Shigaraki were still paralyzed for the most part. The Nomu that had dragged y/n down the hole, was now dragging its masters into a portal.

Tokoyami didn't have time to say anything before they disappeared. So the moment they were gone, he turned his attention back to the wreck that used to be a building.

"Y/n!" He screamed as he started tossing shingles from the roof around. He pushed and shoved at the boards that were once the roof, but once he got to the beams that once supported the entire building, he couldn't.

"Y/n answer me!" Tokoyami yelled into the rubble.

"Tokoyami-." Shoji tried to talk to him.

"No!" Tokoyami yelled at him. "There's no way! We have to find them!" Shoji tried to talk to him more, but Tokoyami just ignored him. 

Tokoyami was suddenly smacked to the side, hard. When he landed he rolled over onto his stomach, pissed, thinking Shoji or one of the others that had hit him, to stop him. He hurried to his feet ready to fight, with Dark Shadow by his side ready for the same. 

But Tokoyami flinched as he realized that it was the spider that had shoved him out of the way. The spider climbed up onto the pile of wrecked building and grabbed the beam that Tokoyami was struggling with.

With barely any effort the spider tossed the beam over its head, and people, both hero and citizens, scrambled to get out of the way before they were crushed. The spider clicked and chattered, as it dug further into the rubble. Beam after beam and slabs of brick were being thrown out of the way.

But suddenly the spider wiggled its butt and lowered itself into a small hole that it had made in the process to dig. And when the spider came back up, it had a body dangling from its fangs.

"Y/n!" Tokoyami called out as the spider turned around, and lowered itself again so it could crouch down. Tokoyami took y/n from the fangs of the spider and collapsed to the ground with them in his arms.

"Y/n please open your eyes." He said and moved their hair out of their face. It was slicked down by blood and dust. Tokoyami lowered his head to their chest and listened for y/n's heartbeat.

"There's barely a heartbeat." He said frantically as he laid y/n down on the ground. He started CPR before he and the others were pushed out of the way by the spider.

The spider stood close to y/n's body. And lifted one of its legs high into the air. It screamed loudly, almost like a battle cry. All before the spider punched its leg down towards y/n's face.

Y/n's eyes flew open as the foot of the spider stopped only a couple of inches from y/n's face.

Y/n took in a breath, as the spider moved its leg away and the students and hero's raced forward.

Tokoyami was the first to make it to y/n and as soon as he grabbed y/n's arm, they let out a giant breath of air. They shook a little as the fear in their body was still racing through their veins. 

The spider had used y/n's spider-sense against them and got their body to react by pumping the adrenaline that it needed to start up again.

"Y/n." Tokoyami said, and they only blinked in response.

"They're in shock." Uraraka said and a set of paramedics rushed over with a Gurnee. The paramedics got y/n up onto the rolling bed, and Tokoyami walked y/n over to the bus. But when they tried to tell Tokoaymi that he couldn't ride on the bus, y/n grabbed onto Tokoyami's jacket as hard as they could.

The paramedics tried getting y/n to let go, but it took Dark Shadow coming out to make them back off. Tokoyami sat next to y/n, and held one of their shaking hands. Y/n was in so much shock that they weren't able to form words still, but that didn't stop them from trying.

"Rest for now y/n, I'm right here." Tokoyami said, and Dark Shadow lightly crawled into y/n's arms.

The last thing y/n could see was Dark Shadow crawling into their arms with Tokoyami right there beside them.
