Appearance// Yumiri stands at a height of five foot two with an athletic build with slight curves. She has a porcelain skin tone and has luscious, flowy raven black hair that stops a little bit past her shoulders, it sometimes growing past it and even falling into her face when it grows out. She has piercing blueberry blue eyes with thick eyelashes and a button nose with heart shaped plump lips with a cupid's bow.

Her skin is relatively smooth and she doesn't really have any visible scars unless you really take a look at her, especially her hands and her eyebrow. She has a faint scar across her left eyebrow from an incident when she was younger and she has a few scars across her hands from when she's usually constructing new support devices and occasionally scratches herself here and there. She has a beauty mark at the nape of her neck right underneath her hair though it usually hides it and she had a few piercings, three upper cartilage piercings in her right ear along the standard in both ears. She also has a tattoo the lower part of her back of two koi fish.

Personality// For most people that initially come across Yumiri and were told to describe her personality it would essentially boil down to the same thing: a sullen, arrogant and undeniably short tempered perfectionist which isn't completely wrong though of course is just what they see and the surface of her personality as a whole. Yumiri does often tend to come off as pretty sullen and a snarky individual, not having the most social skills and certainly doesn't like putting up with many people and their shenanigans. If there's one thing this female hates the most it's wasting time and you'll almost never see her wasting time. There's always something to do, somewhere to be with her and she isn't one for her schedule to be getting messed up and all out of order because some idiot wanted to mess with her. She honestly doesn't take very lightly to people especially strangers and heroes and if she feels like you have no importance or relevance to her life then she'll ignore your complete existence and keep on her way. She is quite blunt and straightforward and will never beat around the push. If she has something to say or something she wants a person to do then she'll say it aloud without an my hesitation, often coming off as a bit bossy. Many people find this as a terrible quality of hers but she just sees it as being cautious and spending her time well.

She usually has a quiet, composed and analytical aura to her, usually not really getting very excited or fired up about things unless it's around people she's truly comfortable around and has known for a while along with a few exceptions of things like technology/her gadgets, cute animals or the mistreatment of certain groups of people. However despite this reserved nature, Yumiri is one to voice her opinions openly and truthfully, having absolutely no shame in insulting someone or dragging something down if she feels a strong way about them. She is never really afraid of what people say or think about her, having grown out of that insecurity a while back and will do whatever Yumiri feels like doing and saying whatever she feels like saying. She hates being a suck up and trying to please people because in all honesty she truly just cares about herself and her cause. She had no reason to try and please people who she knows honestly doesn't care about her and she refuses to do it. Her reserved and rather sometimes aggressive nature prevents her from being seen as approachable and because of this she has a hard time making friends, not like she likes having many anyways. Sarcasm is her first language and her smarminess and attitude is her main defense system against other people and she honestly doesn't see that changing anytime soon. She often gets a good read of people when she first comes across them so within at least two minutes she'll probably have already decided whether or not she really cares for you enough to be in her life.

However, when getting to truly know Yumiri you'll learn that she isn't really just this unemotional and rude person, all the time at least. She like everyone else has some redeeming qualities and one of her biggest ones is her persistence. Honestly, at this point it seems like persistence isn't enough of a word to truly capture her essence. She has been punched and kicked to the ground numerous of times over her lifetime, both literally and physically and every time she'll get up, dust herself off and continue on as if nothing had happened. She will never give up until she reaches her goals and even then she'll do above and beyond. She isn't a quitter and will never be one, being a firm believer of continuous growth and improvement yielding great results no matter how many failures you have. Another quality of Yumiri's personality is that she isn't completely heartless and emotionless. While she may not openly express many emotions, when around those she's comfortable around she's more relaxed and she's actually quite expressive, actually being a bit of a tease and liking to poke fun at situations and people. She has a strong sense of confidence and so she has no problem approaching people whenever she feels like it in order to get what she needs or just to socialize however she wants. She was a strong sense of loyalty but only to a select few of those who have proven to be worthy of it and if you have that loyalty then she automatically has a strong sense of respect for you. Yumiri is also quite the independent individual, preferring to work and go through life solo since she doesn't really like depending on people. Most times where she's depended on people or have let them grow close she was always let down or betrayed somehow which leads to her inability to trust easily. She knows she has a better chance of getting things done the right way by herself so a lot of them time she'll just handle things on her own and won't even reach out to other people for help even if she needs it.

Now, one of her lest redeeming qualities is her short fuse. She is an extremely short tempered individual and while she usually tries to keep her cool and keep in intact, after a while of poking her buttons she's completely done will take of the situation her way. She could honestly care if she hurts your feelings or even physically hurts you, it's your fault for pushing her to this point when she's probably given you a warning or two to stop before which you ignored. She goes from zero to one hundred within a matter of seconds and has no sense of chill or self restraint when she's angry. She's also quite vindictive so when you've pissed her off and crossed her don't think you'll get away with it without some sort of scratch or lesson being taught. She hates being disrespected and will put you in your place without hesitation and that often involves some sort of revenge for what you've done. And a lot of the time it won't be a quick revenge, no, she'll come up with an entire slow burn scheme and get you when you're not expecting it. She likes having control of the situation and having the power to manipulate it because she hates being the one that's manipulated and if anything's going down, she'll know about it. She's quite observant and if she even has a doubt that someone's trying to plot against her she'll handle the situation immediately and make sure that they know who's in charge and why. She likes to be feared and respected and so she'll do anything to keep up that image and control.

Backstory// When Yumiri's parents had found out that they were pregnant with a child they were beyond ecstatic. They had been trying for months to get pregnant and had almost lost hope until they finally took that one pregnancy test and it came out pregnant. Throughout the pregnancy they were thinking of all the possible different quirks their child should have considering that they had two very strong quirks and were just overall really excited to welcome their daughter into the world. However unlike they had thought, Yumiri was born without a quirk and wouldn't develop one even around the age of four or five when most children would, finding out the news after a doctor's visit.

"I've been told what I can't do ever since I was born but now I'm taking that back and proving to everyone what I'm capable of."

Regardless they still loved their daughter so much and didn't think much about her not having a quirk, the news not even really being that devastating to the small child. I mean, how different could she really be from other children without a quirk? Turns out very much and throughout her school years while everyone else practiced and played with their quirks she was just there as a quirkless student and because of her lack of a quirk, she was often the one that was picked on by most if not all of her classmates. They would taunt and make fun of her because she didn't have a quirk and wonder what was she good at, sometimes even roughing her up with their quirks to the point where it wasn't uncommon for her to come home with a cut or two here and there. Her parents had tried multiple times to reach out to the school to point out the bullying their child was being put through however the schools never really did anything and just simply said 'kids will be kids.' However as Yumiri grew up she began learning to defend herself and stand up to her bullies, not even caring if it resulted in more bullying. She wasn't just going to sit there and let them make fun of her over something she couldn't control and realized her own strengths which was her intelligence and interest in technology and decided to take that further.

She soon grew fascinated and more interested in support tech that heroes had and even drew some of her own designs for tech ideas that would suit the quirks of different pro heroes and thought that maybe she develop tech for pro heroes as a future. It was the closest she was going to get to hero work and she dove into her passion, eventually getting an internship at a hero agency where she would help develop tech support items for the heroes there. However, working there she became very aware of how quirked people, even pro heroes treated quirkless people terribly. They treated them as if they were babies and pretty much berated them for 'not being able to protect themselves.' It was clear they were viewed as inferior and seen as essentially nobodies and the last straw for her was when she was saw a villain attack happening and could've done something to help but was held back and told not to interfere because the pro heroes would show up and take care of it. The person that was in danger sadly didn't make it and from them on she grew to resent hero society as a whole. It was so corrupted to think that they needed to rely only on heroes to do everything and honestly sickening now quirkless people were viewed and she wanted to change that. A quirkless people could be just as heroic, dangerous and feared as a quirked person and there should be equal treatment across the board and so she quit her internship and began branding herself as a villain in order to bring down to the corrupt nature of hero society.

However, this device can be broken up into two pieces, essentially turning into nunchucks with blades

Yumiri Headcanons
•She's a total robin hood style villain despite what most people think. It's mostly heroes that see her as a villain while quirkless people and other villains tend to see her just trying to set things right
•She was initially a vigilante at first, having gone to a high school that had a pretty amazing martial arts program and gymnastics which first got her into her combat training and she went on to learn more styles of fighting along with using weapons
•She kind of sees herself in Midoriya and has come across him a few times and surprisingly she doesn't dislike him. She does hate his mentor and school in general though but not him
•Yumiri is quite selective with her assassin jobs and only accepts the jobs of those who she sees as the scum of the earth and truly evil people. She has morals after all, she may be a villain but she's not heartless
•Yumiri does not see her as the romantic type at all considering she's not all that affectionate unless it's with her family and romance hasn't ever been a priority of hers, though that may change with her significant other
—> she also just has trouble with dealing with people so she's a bit socially inept
•She is a big fan of horror and crime shows and movies and will literally binge watch them all of the time
—> secretly likes romance movies but will never admit it aloud and will threaten anyone who even thinks about telling someone
•She is extremely protective over her parents and loves them to death. She visits them quite often but they have no knowledge of her profession
•Out of all of the members of the league of villains, she's the closest to probably Toga and Kurogiri. He's like an uncle figure to her and Toga has just grown onto her and she's very interested kn her quirk and canisters for it
—> Kurogiri admires her for her wanting to change hero society and is quite protective over her
—> She looks out for the LOV constantly, they're like a second family to her

•Can be quite the flirt whenever she wants to though it isn't often. She really likes to tease people though
•Weighted blankets are somewhat of a comfort thing for her, she doesn't know why
•She's an insomniac and whenever she can't sleep she'll just be up in her inventions room and will just be working up a storm in there
•She had a habit of biting her lip and sometimes she won't even notice she's doing it until she feels she feels a bit of blood trickling down from it
•Despite having quite a confident air to her, there are definitely times Yumiri does have her doubts and that's often whenever she's without her support items. There are times where she feels like she's nothing without them but reminds herself that her support items are her and will always be her strength
•Can be so cold hearted and sadistic towards people who have done her wrong and has no problem with showing them why they shouldn't cross her
•She loves to cook and will be the type of person to make sure you have eaten even if that means going out of her way to make sure you do or her pulling you along to get something to eat
—> she's slightly aggressive with it and will just shove a bowl of food towards you and make you eat
•She will stare/glare down anyone who messes with you in an attempt to get them to back off
•Surprisingly she would be pretty blunt and straightforward when telling someone she likes them so that it doesn't drag on and so that she can just get it off her chest, so you may not be able to tell it she's being truthful or just awkward in that way
