Appearance// Megumi stands at a height of 5'6 with an even almond skin tone and deep set dark mesmerizing emerald green eyes that tend to seem darker whenever she's angry or in a bad mood, with long thick eyelashes and plump heart shaped lips. She has a very athletic build since she works out constantly with some curves and she has a faint claw-like scar across the bridge of her nose from an accident during a training session when she was younger. She also has a birth mark on her left upper left arm, it being a slightly lighter patch of skin. She has extremely dark brown, practically jet black hair that's slightly curly that reaches around her waist but it is typically pulled up into a high ponytail with a few pieces left out to frame her face. She wears it this way since she doesn't want it falling into her face while she's out in the field or working out which is a lot of the time. However, if it worn down then it typically had a slightly messy look to it, which honestly adds to her ruggish looks and personality along with her slightly sharper than average canines which you wouldn't really know about unless she smiled and piercing eyes.

Megumi has two large pointed ears that stick out from underneath her dark hair, resembling those of a jackal and has faint natural eye bags underneath her eyes that aren't really apparent unless she hasn't slept for a good while. Although Megumi may have ruggish looks, they're typically perceived in a good way and has been described as pretty good looking on multiple occasions though not many people approach her because she also looks quite intimidating. Megumi has a large tattoo of the Egyptian god Anubis that basically covers her entire back along a few faint scars along her back too but her tattoo mostly covers them. She has two lobe piercings in her left ear and it isn't uncommon to see her with slightly shorter hair from time to time(reaching around the middle of her back or even a little past shoulder length) since she cuts her hair pretty often because it grows really fast and she doesn't like it going past her waist.

Personality// If you were to ask anyone that is close to describe Megumi, they would most likely have a hard time describing the dark haired ebony but two of the main characteristics would most likely be mysterious or serious. Whenever it comes to business like work or even just her friends and family, she is not one to play or joke around with. She runs her life with as much attention to detail as possible and remains as stoic and confident as can be, but not too much to the extent where it seems like she seems like a stick in the mud or cocky though she can definitely be the latter at times.

Megumi is extremely family orientated, her family adoring her because they know they she would be willing to do anything, literally anything for them, being a part of the small group of people that the dark haired female with be remotely relaxed with. Megumi is extremely stubborn and hard-headed as many people can tell when they first cross paths with the pro hero, very much preferring to do things her way and by herself, even often finding it hard in herself to apologize whenever she may be in the wrong. She doesn't take likely to being challenged both physically and mentally so she will argue down anything or with anyone even if she knows there's a chance she may lose or be in the wring, she will go for it and give it her best fighting chance. There is little to no changing her mind when it comes to that. The female also hates mixing personal with work and tends to keep her personal life to herself along with stronger emotions like sadness and regret, personally thinking that nothing good can really come from it. If there was one thing that she has learned over her years of training and just life in general, emotions and work do not go hand in hand along with the fact that not everyone will be so receptive and kind when it comes to you expressing how you feel. She was taught to never hold back and don't give mercy, so she pushes down those emotions to do what needs to be done even if many people see it as being h healthy. Megumi's main goal is to do what she needs to do and she will make you move out of her way if you try to interfere, whether it's with force or not.

"Damn, you just don't know when to quit, do you? Well stop it, it's annoying."

However despite Megumi's often cold exterior, she can be one of the best people to have around as a friend when she wants to be. Sometimes she'll even just act like a huge puppy if she chooses to let you see that side of her. She is a very selfless person, usually putting other's needs and wellbeing before her own, doing whatever it takes to make sure that those around her are good and secure above all before even thinking about herself. She hates seeing those that she is close to sad or struggling, and so she will do things to help without them knowing or wanting her to, whether that's coming over and bringing some of their favorite food to cheer them up or just staying quiet listening to them if they need to rant after noticing that they've seemed off for a while. Surprisingly, she has quite a soft spot for children. Well, really just her nephew. She loves to take at least a day or two out of her week whenever she can to spend time with her nephew. However, she doesn't let everyone see this side of her and tends to keep it that way so that she doesn't seem weak. She's also very protective over the small child so if she isn't that close with you, do not expect to get even ten feet close to him or you'll surely be sent walking off against your will.

Megumi hates like the idea of anyone taking advantage of her or using those closer to her as blackmail, and so she tends to keep her family and personal life pretty private. The thought of someone even attempting to use her loved ones as leverage over her is absolutely sickening to her and she'll immediately have you at her mercy with no hesitation. But on a much lighter note, the dark haired female can be quite the tease though, it not being uncommon for her to tease and fluster those around her for her personal amusement, having been called the occasional flirt though she personally doesn't see it.

"I prefer the quiet. It gives my brain a break time to hear only my thoughts and feelings."

However, like everyone else Megumi does have her faults and times where she her personality falters and she isn't the stable and stoic individual she typically is. Megumi is definitely her biggest critique and while others may not see it, she hates how socially awkward and distant she can be at times with people. She has lost friends over her years because of her coldness and unwillingness to let a lot of people in, being quite selective with who she talks to and so she knows that's something she needs to work on if she wishes to have nice and healthy relationships with people. She also has a habit of being a bit self destructive, immediately shutting down and going off into her own world to kind of berate and tear herself down when she feels like she isn't doing enough or isn't strong enough.

This paired with her short temper alone is a disaster in the waiting, not having a good hold on her temper either and so she has lashed out and taken her emotions out on others unintentionally and when she does it doesn't end very well. Since Megumi is quite the analytical person she is able to read people easily, and so with that knowledge of them she comes for their throats with no remorse. Sometimes it doesn't even come out as anger and is just really critical, snarky and even condescending. She doesn't realize that she's done it until it's all said and done and everyone's looking at her with tears in their eyes, anger or disbelief before she or they walk away without another word. It's why she doesn't like working with people all too much and prefers doing things on her own, it's much easier and there's less of a chance of her lashing out.

Flaws// She typically hates getting really emotional with people because she isn't the best at expressing her emotions in a healthy way and doesn't fully trust herself to become extremely open with people in fear of betrayal on both sides. She also punishes herself very heavily when she does something wrong and often has a hard time forgiving herself when something goes wrong and she feels like she could've prevented it. She can also sometimes not be the most emotionally available person and often has trouble sympathizing and working with others because of it.

Backstory// Megumi was raised in a fairly large household being the youngest child of three with two older brothers, her mother being a saleswoman and her father being a pro hero. Despite being in a large household, it wasn't always the most loving one. Her parents argued quite often and while her brothers were doted on and constantly praised by their father for their amazing quirks and accomplishments, Megumi was basically given little to no attention by her father unless it was during training.

She was forced to train much more and her training was a lot more harsher than her brothers' because of the fact that her father didn't think that she would ever be able to keep up with and be as great as her brothers were since their quirks were more physical than hers. And for so long Megumi had tried to make up for her lack of a physical quirk through school and training, being the top of her class in almost every subject and even learning some ways to control and use her quirk while spending hours once she got home training both with and without her quirk, but it was never enough for the man.

Eventually Megumi stepped up her game and devoted most of her time to the challenge, beginning her long road of harsh physical training and confidence building in order to get even the slightest bit of approval from her father. She had even pushed past a training incident where she had been put up to spar against her eldest brother which resulted in the claw-like scar that now sat on the bridge of her nose, not having been fast enough to dodge his attack. Whether it was intense strength training or long enduring sessions of trying to hone and become one with her canine instincts, Megumi pushed through it no matter how hard it got or how much of a toll it was having on her body. This went on until the death of her father when she was sixteen and by then the damage her already been done, the man having turned Megumi into the fierce little fighter she was now but not everything about that was great. Megumi had been taught to show no mercy and that showing it or any emotion that could be used against her in a fight was weakness, even being able to result in her death if she wasn't careful enough.

It was then that her mother had stepped in to assure her daughter that she was more than enough and that it was alright to let her emotions free and to not be a fighter all the time, in which the years to come would bring Megumi along her own journey of
trying to improve her emotional expression and better her social skills with others. Of course she still trained and wanted to be the best, but there was a bit more lenience and certainly less pressure from her family members though those lessons and trainings with her father still impacts her even to this day.

Quirk explanation// With a simple look into her eyes if she's glaring at a particular person, that person will temporarily lose their "will power" and become subjective to her commands and orders, their pupils dilating and turning to a bright shade of blue. However, that person is consciously aware of whatever is happening to them and can still verbally protest but physically their body will follow her orders.

Megumi's quirk can also make someone susceptible to suggestion if she chooses to not fully take their sense of willpower away, though many people can't tell when she's using this part of her quirk unless it's pretty obvious and whoever she does use this part of her quirk on has no conscious sense of her being behind it. Instead of glaring Megumi will mostly only hold eye contact with the person that she wishes to make susceptible, silently putting thoughts into their mind to suggest and push them into doing something on their own accord. Of course this paired with verbal conversation along with flirting would strengthen the effect, naturally having an aura that would attract and distract people from what they're doing but if she doesn't have the time to strike up a conversation then the mental part would have to do.

Drawbacks//•She can only hold a person under her command for a limit of twenty minutes •The more she uses her quirk she'll get extremely painful head and body aches because it takes energy out of her to command someone else •Like Aizawa because her quirk has to do with her eyes, she'll need to use eye drops occasionally •The longer she tries to push past her limits of her quirk she herself will start to lose control over her own free will and become more susceptible to suggestion and becomes easier to manipulate •Because of her quirk dealing with someone's mind and sense of willpower, a downside to her quirk is that she has like a sixth sense that can pick up on people's emotions around her which can get pretty annoying and cloud her own mind and make it hard for her to focus, it being stronger if she holds eye contact with them

•Because of her father having a carnivore quirk and canine mutation, Megumi has some of the physicality and mentality of canines like enhanced senses, her ears, her sharp canine teeth along with being as loyal as one
•Megumi goes to Miruko whenever she needs help picking out an outfit for something big or important like dates or special events
•Megumi loves the scent of cinnamon and chocolate, it reminds her of her mother's baking
•Because Megumi hates to get emotionally invested in someone the most she'll call them is a friend because she's afraid of being abandoned or not being seen as good enough
