Kasumi stands at a height of 5'3 with an smooth and even ivory skin tone and lower-back length auburn brown locks with a few strands of hair that frame her face and serves as bangs that tend to fall into her face and covers her eyes, most of the time the teen leaving it that way unless the wind blows it out of her face or she decides to style her hair and pull it up away from her eyes. She has plump cherry red heart shaped lips and is fairly petite with a few curves, weighing in around 123 pounds but her weight tends to flunctuate slightly from time to time.

Kasumi has honey toned eyes with long thick eyelashes along with three horizontal black lines on the bridge of her nose which is just an added detail because of her quirk, resembling the stripes of a tiger. The brunette has a beauty mark on the back of her neck and on her cheek and has three piercings in her right ear, along with an industrial piecing and two lobe piercings in her left. She also has a dimple but only on her left cheek. Kasumi typically either wears her hair in two small ponytails in the front with the rest of her hair down or she wears it down in a slightly messy and puffy manner, the second hairstyle is the one in which her eyes are typically shielded by her hair though she can clearly see through it. She has rather dainty hands though her hands are slightly softer than the hands of others because of her quirk and like Uraraka her fingers have faint pads on the tips of them though they tend to have a faint grayish glow whenever she activates her quirk and touches something.

"You wanna know the most useful way I've learned to use my quirk? It's creating one of my bubbles around a bag of potato chips or some cake. It'll will never get stale."

Personality| Kasumi is quite the nysterious girl when you first meet her, not being known to really talk or hang around too many people when they first meet. She is noticeably more reserved in comparison to other students in her class. Don't get it wrong, if she feels as though something being said is pretty important or she just wishes to voice her opinion then she will certainly speak up to say it without hesitation. She tends to be a bit closed-offish when she first meets people and usually comes off as intimidating to people, just somewhat having this slightly intense aura despite her innocent looks, but she also gives off some nonchalant vibes, which gives people the idea that she doesn't really care which doesn't do anything really but confuse people when she first meets them. She had been described by Aizawa as a 'silent but certainly deadly type,' not be underestimated, once describing her initial rather innocent and harmless nature before the storm finally rolls in as she finally strikes, her rather innocent looks aiding in her little act. It also isn't uncommon to the brunette staring off into space or out of a window, her gaze seeming to be entranced and focused yet her mind is somewhere else in her own little world and because of this she has gained the title of being class 1-A's 'daydreamer.' But when she does get used to a person and open up to them which tends to take a while since she is always pretty cautious and alert or those around her, the female can actually be quite the tease and a bundle of fun when she's in a good mood. She's a lot more open and sociable when she's around people that she's comfortable with.

While she may not seem like it and while her quirk wouldn't suggest it, the teen secretly loves physical affection and that's her biggest love language along with gift giving. While you may not notice it, Kasumi is watching and observing everything and everyone around her and is taking mental notes on how they interact with people and their reactions with certain things. Allergic to peanuts? Kasumi has probably noticed it and will make sure that if she were to give you some sort of gift or food that it was made without peanuts or made with any peanut byproducts. If you are her friend she will make sure to do right by you no matter what and will always put you first and check in on you even if you're doing fine.

Despite all of this, Kasumi is a very determined and driven girl who will let no one or anything stand in her way whether that means politely asking you to move or making you move on her own accord. She prefers to do things her way rather than strictly by the books, marching to the best of her own drum. She believe that if it gets the job done, then why try and fix something that's not broken? And because of this she can be a bit stubborn and even a bit of a handful to work with at times, being one to work hard for what she wants rather than it being given to her and having trouble asking for help even if she's in desperate need of it. However, despite her stubbornness and and pretty standoffish nature, she isn't at all a workaholic. Sure, she'll push herself to do her best and stuff but the next minute she can be pretty lazy and in the middle of a mid-day nap on the sidelines of training waiting for it to be her turn for sparring. For a lot of things she'll need some sort of motivation to get her to get involved in something that she personally doesn't care too much for, whether it's bribing her with food or her own self motivation of wanting to continue to improve and get better.

Kasumi can be quite careless at times and will do anything to prove herself worthy or a point, even if it does result in a few scratches and injuries here and there. But usually she is quite level-headed and tries her best not to become stressed or angry under any situation, though she does have slip ups here and there where she will gladly tell you off with some very unheroic language. But do not be fooled, when this girl is complimented or even flirted with its like there's an entire different side of her. She becomes this easily flustered and nervous person, harboring a slight stutter who will rush off in an instant or turn away to try and hide her embarrassment and flustered state, going completely in denial about what's going on.

Flaws// One of her biggest flaws would be her trust issues with herself. She doesn't completely trust herself when it comes to making hard decisions or making friends, fearing that she'll hurt them in the process or make the wrong choice which is why she prefers to work alone. She can also be a bit reckless when her thinking process isn't clear, relying more on emotions in that instance and with that logic at times it doesn't always end with good results. Another flaw of hers is that she will sometimes overwork herself to the point where she'll stress herself out and shut down emotionally. She puts a lot of pressure on herself whenever she makes a mistake and punishes herself for it. The brunette is also terrible at asking for help and would much rather help others in order to distract herself from her own issues.

Backstory// Kasumi was adopted only a month after she was born because her  birth mother wasn't able to financially support both her and her newborn child, wanting to give the child the best chance at a good life. Kasumi was thenadopted by a lovely young couple who were physically unable to have children, the young child being raised in a loving home with her two parents. Despite her parents loving her to the best of their ability and providing her with everything she needed, she couldn't help but to feel as if she owed them no matter how much they disagreed. They had taken her in and supported her through thick and thin, helping her with her homework or cheering her up whenever she made a mistake with her quirk or playing with her hair whenever there was a thunder storm to help her get through it. So, she bowed to herself that she would prove her worth and make them proud by making it to the top, no matter what it takes.

Quirk explanation // Her quirk allows her to deoxygenate or remove the oxygen from things. Any organism that respires, she is able to remove the oxygen surrounding them with a simple touch, converting it into energy for her to use. However, taking the oxygen away from matter will either result in them suffocating(or die if it comes to that). She can also create an encapsulation bubble void of oxygen and control the amount of oxygen in a certain area of space or being, increasing it or decreasing it. For example, if used on a tree and she decreases the amount of oxygen being taken in or inside the tree she would increase the amount of carbon dioxide in the air surrounding the tree. Another exanple, if she was to increase the amount of oxygen in a particular area of space then she would decrease the amount of air pressure in someone's lungs, making breathing easier for them despite being a harsh environment where the air pressure is usually high.

Another part of her quirk is her ability to release a potent gas whenever her quirk is activated and she exhales or touch someone through physical contact, the gas causing dizziness and nausea in a person but first feels like a sickly sweet feeling. This ability is initially confused as an aphrodisiac until they get past the initial sickly sweet nature of it. Due to the dangerous nature of her quirk she doesn't like to use it often. Her quirk allows her to breathe without oxygen for periods of time lasting from a few minutes to a whole hour, making her ideal for missions in which the air has been filled with toxic gases. The amount of time she has her hands on the object or person reflect how much oxygen she increases or decreases in on around the object.

•toxins/chemicals: because of her quirk her tolerance to toxins and chemicals either in the air or by touch is lowered so if exposed to toxic or disgusting fumes for long periods of time then she will get extremely nauseous and lightheaded which can result to her passing out easily so she can only be exposed to toxic fumes or areas for at most fifteen minutes before feeling her drawbacks
•overuse of her quirk can result in trouble breathing for herself and painful sensations in her chest like heartburn since every time she uses her quirk because it puts restraints and pressure on her own lungs
