With one knee already pressing into the mattress, I stood there staring at my sheets, wondering what was the point? 

Getting with these classmates, pulling at their heart strings. Only for them to pull right back on mine. 

Thinking back to the sexual mess that we were earlier. Mina had wanted me to kiss her, she wanted me. And Denki kissed her instead, stole it away from me. Recon, he probably wasn't paying attention and didn't mean to steal it. He probably thought that she actually wanted to kiss him and that he was giving her what she wanted.

And he did. She came on me, realizing the taboo that was their kiss. Their friendship possibly put on the line, in either a positive or negative output.

But, as is life, and as is love.

And my jealous ass has caught feelings. In a relationship where we were supposed to stay professional about it.

But when they care. When they swoon. When they give back.

I can never not fall for it.

My nightmare was there to remind me of that. There's no way he was able to be here. I left him behind with every other problem I had in my hometown. I was free. I was safe. I can't hurt others because of that.

I sighed and put my slippers on and grabbed a spare blanket.

"Hold the elevator!" I called as I left my room and saw the doors almost close with Tenya inside. His hand quickly grabbed the doors and pushed it back open as I ran down the hall to hop in with him.

"Y/n please don't run in the halls." He scolded me lightly, letting the door go at the same time.

"Sorry Sir." I said in an innocent voice and looked at him. "What do you prefer I call you when we're not intimate or it's not your day?"

"I suppose my first name would be alright in those scenarios." Tenya said after thinking for a moment. "Not to mention it would be much more appropriate in public."

"Gotcha." I told him and the elevators opened. We both walked back down the hall together and I knocked on Denki's door.

"Hey bubs." Denki said excited to see me back. 

"Can I come in?" I asked him. 

"Of course." He said and stepped to the side to let me in. "Do you want to come back Iida? Maybe to finish the movie at least?"

"That's alright." He said waving his hand in dismissal. "I should be getting to bed soon, we'll have to rewatch it some time. Since I don't much remember most of it."

"You got it dude!" Denki laughed and we said goodnight to Tenya. He swooped in to give me a goodnight kiss, and he winked at me before stepping into his room.

I stepped further into Denki's room to see Mina pulling on one of Denki's oversized shirts and a pair of his boxers. She looked super-hot in his clothes, and I was definitely checking her out.

"I didn't make you mad, did I?" Denki started asking, pulling my eyes away from Mina's version of boyfriend's clothes esthetic. "Mina said you might have gotten mad cause I kissed her instead of you doing it. Like I told her, I didn't mean to intrude or cross a line. We were just feeling good together, and I didn't see her ask you specifically, and I thought it'd be nice."

"And it was." Mina told him. "I'm just not interested in getting into anything serious with someone else than y/n." She clarified, and it almost felt like my chest was mending.

"Yeah, me either." Denki agreed. "Although having casual sex maybe with someone else in the future might be cool. But I don't feel ready to take that step yet."

"It's not about that." I told them and they sighed. "I just have some past stuff, that I don't want to get into or bring up in the future."

"Did we do something wrong?" Mina asked and they both sat side by side on the bed. I swayed a bit side to side, trying to figure out what to tell them. I didn't want to bring up things that don't matter anymore, but it is important for them to know things.

"You guys did nothing wrong." I told them. "My ex-boyfriend, was just not a very nice guy. And I've got a little more baggage than you would think."

"Justin?" Mina asked, recalling a conversation I've had with her before.

"What happened?" Denki asked. 

"Nothing that matters anymore." I told him. "It's behind me, I've moved passed it. But when I passed out, it just brought up past stuff. And I just needed a minute to clear my head."

"That's okay." Mina said and they both sighed. "We thought you were mad at us for something we did during the foursome, or even the foursome itself."

"No, you guys did great. Before and during the foursome." I told them. "You handled it extremely well with everything. Communication and respect. You guys did amazing. And you guys are amazing." I sat in between them holding my blanket around me tightly as they snuggled into me.

"It was defiantly great." Mina commented.

"I would have liked a little more action." Denki remarked and I could hear the sarcasm.

"You came more times than any of us did." Mina snapped baffled he could keep going.

"I'm a horny bastard, what can I say?" Denki shrugged.

"Isn't that how you hurt your dick?" She snapped back as we all started laying down on the bed. I curled into Denki's side and Mina cuddled me from behind, while throwing her leg over my hip and across Denki's legs with mine.

"I'm never going to live that down." Denki sighed, while me and Mina started laughing.

"Sir Dick-hurts-a-lot." I whispered, recalling the name Mina had given him at lunch the last time she brought it up. We all started laughing and sighed, and just enjoyed the cuddle pile that was us.

"We love you y/n." Mina said, and I could feel my body tense up. My chest, not sure what to do. Cave in on itself or explode from happiness.

"It's true." Denki said. 

Idiots.

"I love you guys too." I told them and as much as I knew I probably shouldn't have said it, I said it anyway. I was just as stupid as they were to let the feelings fester.

But at the same time, flings might not be so bad after all. Not all relationships are supposed to last. But that doesn't mean I should be afraid of them if they do.

I can enjoy this too.
