Reader quirk: Air Manipulation

*School Bell Rings*

As you hear the school bell ring, you gather your books and lean down to place them into your bag.

"Alright class. Make sure you finish your homework by tomorrow morning" Aizawa states as he opens the classroom door.

Yourself and Bakugou walk home from school together each day. No one really knows that you're dating yet since you've only been together for a few weeks. Kirishima and Sero being the exception. People just assume that you walk home together because you live close by.

"[YN], Come on! You're so slow! We've gotta go!" Bakugou slams a hand down upon your desk, small explosions popping like fire crackers from his hand.

Whats the hurry?

"Yeah yeah, I'm coming! Your brows furrow together in confusion, which then turns into a smirk as you get up from your desk and follow him out.

As you stroll out of class you see Kirishima and Sero smirking from their desks, giving you a wink as you pass through the doors.

That's weird?

Bakugou has always been a perfectionist. There is a reason he works so hard and excels in almost anything he does. Relationships are no exception to this. He isn't typically the most romantic guy, his ego really gets in the way sometimes however he is smart and is able to read situations.

Your walks home are typically silent, sometimes stopping to get a bite to eat on the way home or stopping off by the arcade if Bakugou was feeling up to it. The both of you felt like you didn't always need to verbally communicate to understand how the other was feeling. You just kind of 'got' each other.

You noticed Bakugou was a little distant today. As you both walked down the street you noticed Bakugou was one step ahead of you, hands in his pockets with his head eyeing the floor. You decided not to question it, there was no point in upsetting him further. You upped your pace to walk alongside him as you turned your head to look over at a nearby park.

"Katsuki! ... Shall we go to the park?" You spoke quietly, and with caution as you wrapped your hand around where his blazer sat on his wrist.

"Hmp? N-No, we need to keep walking" Bakugou responded with a slight stammer in his voice.

He sounds nervous

With a skip in your step you propel off the ground glide a few steps ahead, spinning as you land directly in front of him.

Bakugous eyes shift from the ground and up to meet your eyes. A small smile leaves his lips.

"Whats wrong with you today? You want to talk about it?" You are more persistent this time around, you are his partner and want to comfort him.

"Look, everything is fine! I want to take you somewhere. Lets go!" Bakugou immediately leads you on a detour through the park. You could barely keep up!

"Katsuki!! Wait!!" He looks back at you with a smile as he runs up ahead. You activate your quirk and glide as you catch up to him, squeezing his hand to ensure that you kept the same pace. The both of you weaved your way through some trees and high shrubbery until you were met with even terrain and green grass.

"I come here to clear my head when I'm mad, I thought you might like it" Katsuki mumbled as his running stopped suddenly, your hands still intertwined.

Looking around you notice a pristine blue river with schools of small fish swimming through, amazing greenery and high trees that stretch almost as far as your eyes can see. The grass, soft and lush. You're almost tempted to take your shoes off.

Bakugou always seems angry, yet he comes here to calm down? Imagine if he never came here at all, he would probably explode!

"This place is beautiful, It looks like no one ever comes here" You say, gobsmacked by the beauty before you.

"Yeah... Are you hungry? I brought food" Bakugou lets out a small blush as he leads you by the hand over to the river as you both sit.

Bakugou pulled out from his back pack a few of your favourite treats and drinks. He is very attentive. Even if he struggled expressing his feelings, small gestures always reassured you.

"How did you know I like all this?" You smile as you pick up the melon soda and take a sip.

"... Well I am your boyfriend! Of course I know all these things, stupid!" Bakugou becomes slightly irritated. Best boyfriend ever, right? You continue to take sips of your drink, letting out a smirk before responding/

"Of course you do, you're the best boyfriend ever, right!" You smile.

A small blush crosses Bakugous cheeks.

"And don't you forget it!" He declared proudly.

The two of you sat for a while eating and drinking the remainder of your snacks. You could tell by the way Bakugou was speaking that we didn't seem as irritated or nervous anymore. He had calmed down a little bit. The both of you discussed school work and the new techniques you had learn't to better handle your quirks. Sometimes you both train together after school. Bakugou enjoys hearing about your progress and you love the way his eyes light up when he talks about the new moves he has come up with. He then began discussing how his mother and father would bring him to this area when he was younger for picnics. He used to swim in the calm river and chase the fish. He got up and brought you closer to the lake, showing you a hole in the trunk of an extremely old tree.

"I first discovered my quirk while I was jumping into the river from this trunk. As I jumped an explosion came out from my palm and blast a hole into it." The both of you stood over the trunk. At this moment Bakugou had realised he got carried away with his words. He doesn't usually share information about his past but there was something about you that brought out this side in him. Nevertheless he was nervous, his eyes widened and he took a step away from you.

"Thank you for sharing that with me, Katsuki" You take a step towards him and close the gap he just created. Without thinking, you wrap your arms around his waist and bury your face into his chest. Bakugou was shocked at first, however he brought his arms down and wrapped them around you. You felt his soft lips press against your forehead.

"I'm really happy you brought me here" You whisper.

Katsuki pulls back slightly and looks down at you. He notices a piece of hair had fallen across your face so he gently tucks it behind your ear and proceeds to cup your cheek.

Your [EC] eyes gazed into his crimson orbs, you had never been this close to him before, you took this moment to analyse the specks of white, orange and red in the iris of his eyes.

After a few moments, Katsuki closes his eyes and brings gently pulls you in closer as your lips brush against each other. You close your eyes as your lips press together with a little more force. The surprisingly sweet taste of his lips is intoxicating. The grip he had around you had tightened as your lips dance together sensuously. As the intensity of your kiss slows down, you both pull away letting out a slight hum of pleasure and a sigh.

"Thank you for coming here with me [YN]" Katsuki whispered as he pulled you back in to an embrace.

You burrowed your head into his chest and maintained a grip around his waist.

Bakugou was a little awkward during sweet moments, so you took this as an opportunity to be cheeky.

"So this is why Kirishima was winking at us today, huh?" You smirked.

Bakugou immediately pulls away and his eyes widen in shock

"HUH???! Damn Hedgehog Hair!!" He raises his voice as his face turns beet red.

You grab his hand and break out into laughter.

"Don't worry about it! Come on, let's go home!" You smile as you grab his hand.

Bakugou decided to let it go as he let's out a reluctant smile. You both pack up your bags and make your way home.

As Bakugou walks you home he cannot take his eyes off you, keeping his head down so you cannot see his smile through his ash blonde hair.

"Perfect day with the perfect partner" Bakugou thinks to himself.
