My Hero Academia: Izuku ½ Chapter 4
Hello everyone and welcome to the fourth chapter of My Hero Academia: Izuku 1/2. With me again is my partner, Tkdboy2000.
Tkdboy: Hey.
So, I have our guest for this chapter.
Tkdboy: Who've you got?
(Just then a portal popped up and out stepped Hansuke)
Hansuke: "Kept ya waitin' huh?"
Tkdboy: Oh. Well. Portals, right. Hey, Hansuke. Welcome to the Greek Chorus.
Hansuke: "Happy to be here. Also, I also made it so Soshi will be next after me, don't ask how I did it... Goddamn fourth-wall breakers and their goddamn op powers..."
Tkdboy: Hey at least it's not... Wait, no, not saying it.
Hansuke: "Let me guess, that red and black idiot merc, that never shuts the hell up?"
Tkdboy: Yep.
Ahem... As much as I'd love for you two to trade stories on that idiot, we still have a story to get too.
Tkdboy: Right. Hansuke?
Hansuke: "Right both Xarazechi/Light He'arth and Tkdboy2000 do not own My Hero Academia, just plot changes and their OCs like me. All Rights to the Manga/Anime belong to the creator of the series."
Tkdboy: Yep.
That seems to be go for me.
Tkdboy: Right. Now, let's start!
On with the story.

Chapter 4: Roaring Muscles of the 1/2 Hero
It was early morning, and Izuku, not Izumi today, was waking to a location he was given by All Might. He was walking with his friends.
Soshi was half-asleep as he walked with them.
"Thanks again for coming with me you guys," Izuku tanked his friends.
"Not a problem, Izuku," Bachi stated. Soshi just yawned and nodded.
"We're a team, and we stick together," Hansuke stated.
"... Yeah. What he said," Bachi said.
They made it to their location... and it was a dump, literally. "Uh... This is supposed to be a beach, right?" Hansuke asked.
"Yeah, it is," Izuku answered.
Soshi just looks around.
"...Hey... isn't this... yawn isn't this where we scavenge for parts...?"
"Ah, I see you arrived early, Young-" The voice of All Might called out, but then saw Izuku. "I'm sorry, I thought you were someone else young man."
"Oh, no, it's me All Might," Izuku told him, turn to and from his girl form.
"... Oh, right, your Quirk," All Might realized his mistake.
Soshi blinked, then yawned. "... Hm..." He heads into the dump to see what he can scavenge. If he's right, then he knows what's about to happen. Better take what he can beforehand.
"Uh, what is Young Shinzui doing?" All Might asked.
"Just getting some parts for our work," Hansuke answered.
Soshi eventually comes back with some decent scrap metal.
"Any good electronics?" Hansuke asked.
"Not much. I found a speedometer, but that's about it."
"Just checking."
"Yeah... anyways, let's see what's going to happen here," Soshi says as he yawns and rejoins the group.
(Minutes later)
Izuku was struggling to trying to move a refrigerate while All Might was sitting on top of it. He was strong, but this was ridiculous to do.
"Hey, hey, hey, it's pretty comfy up her on this fridge," All Might said. "How are you doing down there?" Just then Izuku lost his footing and fell on the sand. "People move these all the time you know, and most of those people don't even have super strength."
"That's truth but... there's an extra 600 pounds with you sitting on top of it," Izuku stated, looking at his hero. "Even if I've trained my body..."
"Nah! I've lost weight," All Might tells him. "I'm down to 560 these days. In this form anyways."
"Great, much better," Izuku said sarcastically.
"...Rounding up generously, Izuku isn't exactly wrong," Bachi states.
Soshi had fallen asleep.
"... Why does he sleep like that...?" Hansuke asked no one in particular.
"Why do you have me dragging trash across the beach anyways?" Izuku asked All Might.
He just laughed and took out his phones taking pictures. "Take a look at yourself," All Might tells him. You may be strong, but you aren't ready for my power."
Izuku looked at the hero with a hurt look on his face. "But I thought you said I was worthy...!"
"I think he misinterpreted that..." Hansuke stated, with a sweat drop.
"Yeah, same," Bachi says, also with a sweat drop.
"I'm talking about your body," All Might tells him.
"Huh?" Izuku asked looking at them in confusion.
"My Quirks One For All is a whole lot to handle," All Might explained to his successor. "The combined power physical abilities of everyone who's every used it creates a hurricane of pure force. An unprepared body can't fully inherit it. Your arms and legs would shoot off if you try to, even though your body is in good shape.
"SERIOUSLY!?" Izuku shouted, turning sheet white at the mental image.
Hansuke had a 'yeesh' face. "I hope Izuku knows what he's doing."
Bachi just nods in agreement.
Soshi stirs a bit when Izuku shouts.
"You awaken now?" Hansuke asked his friend.
"Somewhat... what's he screaming about? The amount of power in All Might's Quirk?" Soshi guesses.
He whispered what could happen to Izuku.
"... Sounds about right."
Hansuke gave him a flat look.
Izuku shock his head. "So this this whole trash this is some sort of hardcore workout to add onto my own fighting," Izuku said. "And..." he looks at the hero, "you're my trainer..."
"You got it!" All Might shouted. "But there's another reason to. I did a little bit of online research yesterday. Turns out," All Might started as he walked back to the of the frig, "this use to be beautiful, but it's been a total mess for the last few years. "He then hit the frig denting it a bit.
Izuku stood up while the others were listening.
"That right," Hansuke said. "Because of the ocean currents anything in the water ends up here."
"People take advantage in that when they are illegally dumping their trash," Izuku explains.
"... And then scavengers like us come by and take away the useful bits, essentially justifying people dumping things here as "Oh, people will probably take things away,"" Soshi mutters to himself.
"Now all the locals avoid coming here," Hansuke said.
"Heroes these days are all about showing off and catching flashy villains," All Might said. He goes behind the frig and started the crush it. "Thing were a whole lot different before people got Quirks, back then heroes were those who helped the community, even if it was kind of boring." And with that he flattened the frig and the trash behind them blew up and away now being able to see the sun. "You will restore the coastline for this entire section of the beach. That is the first step in your path young ones... toward being heroes."
All four kids turn to see the trash behind them.
"All... this...?" Izuku asked, a bit in shock. "That so much!"
"It makes sense," Soshi states.
"Yeah. Wanna build up endurance? Lifting heavy appliances tends to help," Bachi states.
"Young Midoriya" All Might called getting his attention, "you want to go to U.A. with your friends right?"
"Of course, you went there," Izuku said. "So it has to be the best school around. Right?"
"I mean, theoretically, just because the best Hero came from UA, that doesn't necessarily mean-" Soshi started, before Bachi slaps him. "-I mean, yeah, sure, that makes sense."
"I know it's a long shot... even with my own Quirk..." Izuku said, "but still... I'm going to shoot for the moon my friends."
"U.A." All four of them cheered.
"You've got a lot of spirit, fan boy," All Mighty told them. "But as I mentioned before heroing isn't easy, even with a Quirk like yours. It not fair, but that's the reality, and U.A. is the hardest course to get into which means-?"
"I have to prepare my bodies for your Quirks really fast," Izuku said. "The U.A. exam is in ten months!"
"Right," Soshi states," Best get to work now, then. I doubt All Might took talk into account when making your schedule."
"Funny you should say that, young Soshi," All Might said holding papers for Izuku. "I've got him covered, with the help of my handy Aim to Pass American Dream Plan! Follow this to a T and the beach will be clean in no time at all. I even detailed every other aspect of your life while I was at it," All Might explained.
The four friends looked at the schedule and Izuku was a bit intimidated by it.
"Even my sleep is scheduled..." Izuku said a bit nervous. "And even my martial arts classes... How did he know before hand?"
"...What the flying fuck?" Bachi said to herself.
"Oh, so that's why he asked me if you took fighting classes," Hansuke stated, realizing why he was asked.
Soshi just looked at it, shrugged, and yawned. "Good luck, Izuku," he says drowsily before falling asleep.
"If I'm being honest," All Might say to Izuku, "this is going to be super hard. You think you're up to it?"
"Yeah sure we are," Izuku said, determination on his face. "I'm going to have to train harder than other people, because of my Quirk, and how it isn't flashy."
"And we'll be here to cheer you on bro," Hansuke tells him, patting him on the back. Bachi nods. Soshi... was asleep. Bachi slaps him, and he wakes up and nods.
"Thanks guys," Izuku thanked, look at his best friends.
All Might gave him a nod up.

(Mixed Martial Arts Dojo; Evening)
Izuku had made it to his Mixed Martial Arts Dojo to do his training in different types of fighting. He had two friends that where here that the others knew about but haven't been meeting in a while. Izuku saw one of them. A blond with a tail Quirk. Mashirao Ojiro. "Hey Ojiro." Izuku greeted.
Said boy turned and saw the green haired boy. "Ah, Midoriya, it's good to see you. I see you're Izuku today."
Izuku's other friend had arrived early and was in the middle of practicing. The bright orange hair of Itsuka Kendo made her stand out a bit from the other students.
"Kendo's already starting," Izuku stated.
Ojiro nodded. "Hey, why's Hansuke not here today?" he asked.
"His parents need him to help around the house," Izuku answered.
Kendo turns and notices Izuku.
"Oh, hello, Izu..." She took the time to make sure of Izuku's gender to avoid offending him. "... Izuku. How are you doing today?"
"I'm good, and don't worry if you call me ether name by mistake," Izuku told her. He then laughs lightly and smiles at her, "I've made that mistake myself a few times~"
"I see. Well, Izuku, it's nice to hear you're doing well."
"Hey, you going to say hi to Ojiro?" he asked.
Kendo turns and sees Ojiro. "Oh! Hello, Ojiro! I'm sorry, Izuku caught my attention first."
Ojiro look a bit sullen and asked, "Why does everyone seem to not see me...? I'm not that forgettable am I...?" (A/N 1)
"I think it's more that you're a very Zen person Ojiro," Izuku pointed out. "And being unseen at times can be a benefit when fighting villains, they'll underestimate you that way."
Ojiro smiles. "You always know how to cheer up a person, don't you Izuku?"
"He does seem to have an air of perpetual optimism," Kendo notes.
"Perpetual optimism?" Izuku asked, confused.
"Yes. You always believe that good things are going to happen."
"I have to agree with Kendo," Ojiro agreed. "You kinda are."
Izuku was blushing and was pouting. "I just like to see things at a different angle... It's how I do things because of my Quirk, try to be unpredictable..." Kendo chuckles a bit hearing that. "What's so funny?"
"Oh, nothing, nothing. I just didn't expect you to be embarrassed by something like that."
Izuku hung his head down. "Please stop teasing me..."
"Okay, Kendo, you had your fun," Ojiro stated.
Kendo nods as she goes back to training. "So," she starts, hitting a dummy with a fist-palm, not using her Quirk, "how are you going to train today?"
"I was thinking of using my tail a bit more with my style," Ojiro stated.
"Wanting to mix some more styles into my fighting," Izuku answered.
"Alright. I'm practicing training while moderating use of my Quirk. While enlarging my hands is useful, it also makes them a bigger target. So I'm working on timing," Kendo explains as she palm-strikes the dummy, enlarging her hand before the attack connects.
Izuku smiled. "I see you took my idea, like what I do with my Quirk, change to and from genders."
"Right," Kendo states, "It's something similar."
"It really is interesting that you can switch genders," Ojiro stated. "A lot of us have a hard time fighting you when you do that."
Izuku looked a bit down. "There still some that think my Quirk isn't that good, or that I can be a hero with it. Some think I'm a freak of nature and that I should be one gender or the other. What's wrong with me wanting to be a guy one day, then a girl the other? I like being both genders."
"It's just transphobic jerks, Izuku, their words should have an impact on your life," Kendo stated.
"And those who think your Quirk is weak, they just want to put you down to their level," Ojiro added, who was now training with his tail. "Bullies are people who think they'll feel better if people suffer to."
Izuku sighs, doing Tai-chi katas to warm up and loosen his body. "I know, it just irritates me at times. I want them to see me for me. I've helped people with my Quirk before, heck, I helped Tiger of the Wild Wild Pussy Cats."
"Wait, that was you?" Kendo asked, "I thought Tiger said he went to Thailand to handle that..."
Izuku was sheepish. "I went on a trip there with my mom paid by him and his group..."
"Ooooh..."
"Must have been a real grand thing for you," Ojiro stated, smiling. "Getting to meet a hero and go on a trip with said hero."
"It was one of the best days of my life~" Izuku stated, smiling his million-watt smile.
"And there it is," Kendo states, "your happy smile and cheery personality."
Ojiro shock his head, smiling. "That smile of his could rival All Might's I think."
"I can definitely see it," Kendo states as she palm-strikes another training dummy.
"It does?" Izuku asked.
Kendo and Ojiro both nod.
"Well, well, well," came a cocky voice that the three knew. "If it isn't the freak of nature itself~" The three turned to see a punk looking boy, with train sword on his shoulder.
"What do you want?" Kendo asks the boy.
"Why so hostile?" the guy asked, having a smug smile. "I was just wondering why she shouldn't stay a woman, that way she'd be able to be my girl~"
"Please leave Izuku alone," Ojiro told him. "Izuku can be ether gender he wants, and you have no say in the matter."
"Stay out of this Monkey Boy," the boy ordered. "Or do I have to force you~?"
"What gives you a say in the matter," Kendo retorts, "it's his body and his choice."
"Ah, are you jealous of her~ Don't worry~ I can take you as well lovely~"
Izuku got in front of the boy and pushed him back a bit. "Please leave me and my friends alone," Izuku warned, having his determined look on.
Kendo nods. "Like I'd willingly be your girlfriend, jerk."
"Ah, but I'm the best sword fighter here, and my Quirk is powerful enough to be a hero~ Don't you two want a strong boyfriend~?"
"... Dude, having a strong Quirk isn't everything," Ojiro stated.
The boy stiffened, and looked at him, with a pissed off look. "What didja just say Monkey."
"You heard me, there's more to being a hero then just a Quirk," Ojiro stated. "Izuku said that himself."
"Why you no good little-!" he roared, ready to hit him with his bamboo sword, when it was grabbed by someone.
All of them looked, and saw that someone was Kendo's father, and master of the Dojo. "What is going on here...?" he ordered.
"He tried hitting on me," Kendo states, "and tried to say that Izuku... or his Izumi form should be his girlfriend."
"And stay Izumi permanently," Ojiro added.
"Sir, you have to agree that being ether male or female at any time is-" The boy stated but was cut off.
"I don't care if Izuku is a guy or girl, I care for their character," Kendo's father stated. "They are a hard-working disciple that I'm glad to have, no matter what or who they are. I'm not an old man that cares about old traditions."
"But girls are weaker then-"
"What was that?" he asked. "Did you forget that my daughter is one of the top students I have, or are you too arrogant to think otherwise?"
The other students stop what they're doing and turn to look at what's going on.
Another female student pipes up. "They're not the only girls here, he's harassed, sir..."
Kendo's father looked at the boy, asking, "Is this true."
"So what? They all have weak-ass Quirks, none can stand up to mine," he stated proudly.
"You want to test that?" he asked the boy. He then turned to Izuku. "Izuku, would you like to spare with him? You are my best student next to my daughter."
Izuku nods. "I-I don't normally like to spar, but being a Hero is about protecting others, n-not flashy Quirks and shows of power."
Kendo's father nodded. "I understand you don't like sparring that much, but sometimes you can't avoid a fight, but you must choose your battles wisely."
Izuku nodded. "I understand."
The boy just spat. "Heroes need to be strong, that's all that's need. Your weak ass ideals won't hold up in the real world."
"We'll see if that's true when you two spar," Itsuka states.
A few minute later, a sparring mat was set up, Izuku and the boy were at separate ends while Kendo's father was in the middle. "This is a sparring match between Chikara and Izuku. Quirks are permitted in this match. The first to knock their opponent to the ground is the winner."
"Ready to lose and see that your ideals are weak?" the boy, now known as Chikara asked. Pointing his sword at Izuku.
Izuku shakes his head and gets ready to fight.
Just then, Chikara's body glowed, and so did his sword. "If you don't know my Quirk, it's call Enhancing. It allows me to enhance not only my body, but anything I'm hold, to the power it's stronger than steel~"
Izuku just gets ready to fight, already recognizing his Quirk.
Kendo's father raised his hand in the air, then brought it down, shouting, "Hajime!"
Izuku ran at Chikara, fast, but he just smiled. "To easy." He then brought his sword down on him, hard making a gust of wind, but Izuku wasn't there. "What the!? Where'd he-!?" He then felt something jabbing him under his armpit, making his arm spasm, losing his grip on his sword. Izuku had transformed into Izuku, making her Quicker and more agile to fight Chikara. She then transformed back to Izuku, grabbed his arm, and Judo flipped him to the ground.
"Nice!" Ojiro shouts.
"That's Our Izuku for ya," Kendo stated.
Chikara blinked. "W-What the hell just happened!?"
Kendo's father raised his left arm for Izuku, "The winner of the spar is Izuku!" The rest of the dojo cheered.
Izuku let go and Chikara sat up and pointed his finger at him. "How the hell did you beat me?! My Quirk made me stronger!"
"Yes, but your body still has points of weaknesses that make your body spasm, and your body still obeys the laws of physics," Izuku told him.
"The fuck does that mean!?"
Itsuka and Ojiro shrug.
"Izuku's always been good at the finer details," Ojiro says.
"I hit a pressure point in your body and used your own body's momentum and gravity to beat you," Izuku clarified.
"That does make sense," Kendo stated, pounding her fist in her palm. "His Quirk is strong, but that's all it is, Izuku used the Quirk's weaknesses to his advantage."
Ojiro nods. "That's Izuku for you," he says, "observant and capable of finding weaknesses in seconds."
Kendo's father walked over to Chikara. "Now do you see that Quirks are not the only thing you should think are important. Izuku won because they were able to see the weakness and use their own skills to beat you."
"But he still used his Quirk," Chikara stated.
"Yes, but it wouldn't have been effective, if not for their training in fighting and analyzing," Kendo's father pointed out. "Those are their other strengths they sharpened, to use their Quirk to the fullest."
The other students just nod along to the lecture.
Chikara just grumbled and greeted his teeth. He then got up and bowed to Izuku. "... I... apologize for the things I said about you..."
Izuku bows back. "Apology accepted."
Chikara stood back up and pointed his sword at him. "Just know, I'm going to train harder, so I can beat you, with or without my Quirk, ya hear?"
Izuku nods.
Kendo's father smiled at the two.
"D-Did Izuku just change Chikara's point of view on the world?" Ojiro asked, shocked at what happened.
"I certainly hope so," Itsuka says.
Chikara put his bamboo sword out, and Izuku knew what he wanted to do. Izuku put his arm to said sword, making a promise to face each other again. Both smiled, Izuku with his kind smile, and Chikara with his cocky, but now kinder one.
Ojiro shock his head smiling. "He is something else..."
Kendo silently nods in agreement.
To be continued

And that's the fourth chapter people.
Hansuke: "Life happen again?"
Don't ask...
Tkdboy: That means yes.
Hansuke: "Hey, even I need to get out and get inspiration for my work."
... Yeah... That's easier said than done where we're at...
Tkdboy: We're in a global pandemic, Hansuke.
Hansuke: "Oh... My bad..."
Let's just end this chapter, okay?
Tkdboy: Right. Thanks for reading.
We hope you all enjoyed this chapter and hope to see you next chapter.
Hansuke: "See you all next time."
Tkdboy: Buh-bye!
Be safe and see you all next time.
Please R&R.
(A/N 1) I've seen a lot of stories where people seem to forget him or just write him off. Why? He's memorable, to me at least.
Tkdboy: It's probably because his Quirk isn't super flashy. A tail is relatively mundane compared to creating things, Dark Shadow, hyper-acidic sweat, and One for All.
True, but have you seen how useful tails can be from other shows?
Tkdboy: It's still relatively mundane.
