Um. So. I might get some backlash for this one, but I do not ship this at all, honestly. It confuses the ever-loving fuck out of my little tiny peanut brain, so maybe it's on me and said little tiny peanut brain for not getting it, but my point remains. It doesn't make any sense, in my not-so-humble opinion.

They only fight, I've never seen them genuinely get along. They've had moments where they exist in the same space without screaming at each other, but they never actually have positive interactions. Maybe this is the enemies to lovers trope people (myself included, in very specific circumstances) love so much at play, but I don't see it.

Platonically, I can see them being buddies— they both have mommy and daddy issues all in one (Enji and Mitsuki's abuse— because let's be honest, what Mitsuki does is abuse— and Rei and Masaru's passiveness and allowance of the abuse), and I think they would have a shit ton of fun training together. But romance? No. At the same time, I've DEFINITELY seen much, much worse.
