Violet's are Blue: Part 5 (Aizawa)
I knocked on the door, and it was a couple of seconds before the door opened.
"Wow." Mr. Aizawa said after he took a moment to look at me.
"Is it too much?" I asked and looked at my dress.
"No, no." He said and moved out of the way so I could walk in. "I just wasn't expecting you to look so beautiful."
"Thank you." I said. "You look nice too." I told him and he looked down at his clothes and laughed.
"I should probably change." He said.
"No." I told him, and admired how tight his long sleeve shirt was. It hugged onto his sides nicely and he hand the sleeves pulled up his arms. And to top it off his hair was tied back in a ponytail. "I like it."
"Really?" He asked, and I nodded. "And might I ask what that is for?" He pointed to my overnight back, and I sighed.
"My mom is ditching me tonight, for a date of her own." I said and set my bag down on the couch. "I'm sorry, I just found out as she was leaving me."
"No, it's not a problem." He told me and walked into his kitchen I followed and saw that there was a large pot on the stove. "I hope you like pasta."
"I'm going to be honest, I didn't think you knew how to cook." I told him and leaned against his counter.
"Honestly? I started taking some lessons a couple of months ago." He told me.
"Really?" I asked and I couldn't help but smile.
"Well I didn't want to just have take-out. I figured you'd want something more than that." He said and started dishing up the pasta.
"I mean, I'm not against take-out." I told him and he walked over to his small dining room table that was decorated with candles and a bread basket with garlic bread.
"Would you prefer take-out?" He asked, and pulled a chair out for me. I sat down and he scooted me in.
"No, this is perfect." I said and he sat down across from me. I took a bite of his pasta and was surprised at how great it tasted. "This is really good." I told him.
"Well I'm glad my lessons have paid off." He said. "I suppose in more than one way."
"How's that?" I asked him, and he smirked.
"Well I actually got to graduate the entire class from 1-A." He said. "What kind of plans do you have for the future now?"
"Well, I was planning to work at UA for a year." I said, but that was already known. "And after that I'll be looking into different agencies, I already have a few offers. But I was also thinking that maybe I might want to go to college."
"Really?" He asked.
"Not full time." I told him. "Probably some online classes here and there, during this next year. Nezu said he'd give me a scholarship to assist with it, if I did end up taking the classes."
"What are you looking into studying?" Aizawa asked me, and got a look on his face.
"Well, I was thinking a little bit of everything." I told him. "A class or two of psychology, communication classes, and definitely some medical classes. Just some stuff that could help me out in the field."
"That's smart." He said and wouldn't stop staring at me.
"What?" I ask. "Do I have something on my face?"
"No, I'm just watching your eyes." He told me. "I can tell you're really passionate about this." I didn't know what to say, and looked down.
"What about you?" I asked him. "Looking forward to the new students?" After the year he had with us he was going to be moving back to a first year teacher in the fall.
"I'm not looking forward to it, no." He said, and I laughed. I couldn't help but remember when I was a first year.
"Well if they turn out anything like we did, I think you'll be fine." I told him, and he smiled.
"Only thing is, that you'll have to see how bad you really were." He said and that made him chuckle. "That and the others will also get to see."
"They'll also get to see us." I said, and he looked at me. I nodded to him. "They know."
"You told them?" He asked.
"Just Bakugo, Kirishima, Momo, Jirou, Denki and Sero." I said.
"Is that it?" He asked sarcastically
"Me and my mom were in a call with Mina on the way over here, and they were in the background." I said.
"And?" Aizawa asked, and he didn't seem bothered by it.
"And they didn't seem to see a problem." I said. "Kiri thinks your a man."
"So they made jokes?" He asked, and laughed a little. But he wasn't mad.
"A few, but they didn't seem to mind." I told him, hoping he wouldn't get mad at me.
"Well I don't really care if they mind or not." He said, and I was taken aback for a second. "I plan to take this seriously, and I for sure wasn't planning to listen to whatever everyone had to say when we announce it."
"Really?" I asked. I honestly didn't think that he would say, let alone think, something like that.
"You didn't think I was going to take you seriously?" He asked me.
"I don't know what I was thinking." I told him and thought for a second. "I'm not going to lie, this whole time I thought that we were going to fall out of love or something like that before we even got here. Or that you'd change your mind."
"But you wouldn't change yours?" Aizawa asked.
"Well I knew I wouldn't change my mind." I said again. "Mostly cause I'm inexperienced, and just got excited about going on a date in general."
"Well I hope it lives up to your excitement." He told me.
