Shift: Part 3 (Shinsou)

I opened my eyes to see that I was once again in a white room with lots of lights.

"Stay calm." A voice said and I jumped up and tucked my legs into me. I saw that Shinsou was sitting in a chair next to my bed. He looked exhausted. "How'd you sleep?" He asked me, and I gave him a look.

"I'm not going to brain wash you, calm down." He said and rolled his eyes.

"Fine." I said, and hugged my knees.

"So, what was that last night?" He asked me. I looked away from him and started playing with my hands.

"I'm not supposed to talk about it." I told him.

"Why not?" Shinsou asked.

"Where are those old guys?" I asked him.

"Why you want me to go get them so they can interrogate you?" He questioned and started getting out of his seat.

"No!" I blurted out, and he sat back down.

"Then why can't you talk about what happened?" He asked again, and as much as I didn't want him to go get the other guys I couldn't answer. "What about when you were running in the alley? Who were you running from?"

"My Father." I told him, and shook my head. "I'm not supposed to talk about him either."

"Well why were you running?" Shinsou asked and closed his eyes with his head in his hand.

"Cause I want him to stop hurting me." I told him, and it was quiet. I looked at Shinsou, and he was looking at me.

"What kind of hurt?" He asked me, and his tone changed.

"He sticks a lot of needles in me." I said. "And he keeps me in a cold stone room."

"He was keeping you prisoner?" Shinsou asked me.

"He raised me." I told him, getting angry at his tone towards Father.

"In a cell?" Shinsou questioned and I looked away from him angry. "What did he do with the needles?" He asked.

"Tests." I said. "On me and my brothers."

"You have siblings?" Shinsou leaned forward in his chair towards me.

"We were raised together." I said.

"Are you blood related?" He asked me, and I shrugged. Suddenly the Hawks and Aizawa walked into the room.

"Looks like we found you kid." Hawks said.

"Y/n l/n." Aizawa said. "Your blood work came back, you went missing about sixteen years ago not long after you were born. Your parents were killed and you were marked as missing."

"However there was something interesting that also came back on your blood test." Hawks said. "There's more than just human blood flowing in your veins. So if whatever that was last night isn't a quirk, what exactly are you?" I looked down at my hands in my lap.

"Hey." Shinsou said, and went reaching for my hand. I flinched away from him and he stopped trying to reach for me. "You have to help us, so we can help you."

"Father says I'm his precious little girl." I said. "That I'm his greatest creation."

"And what is that exactly?" Aizawa asked.

"I don't know." I said. "Father hasn't created a name for it yet. But I can shift into a wolf."

"More like a variation of it." Hawks said.

"I can transform as much of my body as I want." I told them. "I can change completely into a wolf, if I wanted to, however it's not very useful when your opponent has opposable thumbs. Father says he's not done with me, he wants me to be more. He says he'll make me perfect."

"Perfect for what?" Shinsou asked me.

"Father doesn't like story telling." I said.

"What about your brothers?" Shinsou asked.

"Your record doesn't say you have siblings." Aizawa said.

"My brothers, they aren't as strong as me." I said. "I'm the strongest out of all of them."

"How many are there?" Hawks asked.

"Father can only afford to take care of six of us." I said. "But when he's done making me perfect he's going to get more, and we will become one big happy family."

"Mhm." Hawks hummed. "Was that one of your brothers last night?"

"Yes." I answered. "My brothers are much more obedient than I am."

"And why is that?" Aizawa asked.

"Father doesn't love them like he loves me." I said. "He wants me to be perfect, and my brothers want him to love them as much as he loves me."

"So they obey." Shinsou said, and I looked at him.

"They have to." I said. "Otherwise Father will find new brothers. Since Father started raising me, I've had many brothers and even a few sisters."

"He's killed children?" Hawks asked, and I could feel as the tension built in the room. I shrugged, I really didn't know whatever happened to my brothers and sisters.

"What sets you apart from the  rest of your brothers?" Aizawa asked.

"I'm the only one that can shift into a completely other body, with absolute no pain or problem." I told them. "Father's working on making it so I can transform into anything and everything. I will one day be the final product."

"You're not an object." Shinsou said, and these words made me jump.

"Father says-." I started to say, but Shinsou suddenly stood up and above me, and I jumped back against the railing of my bed.

"Screw what your Father says!" He yelled at me, and I fell out of the bed. "You aren't some object to toy with!" I quickly backed away from them and tucked myself into the corner.

"I'm sorry." I yelled. "I promise I'll behave! I'm sorry, don't hurt me please!" I begged and started crying. I heard footsteps coming towards me, and I flinched at each one. A hand gently touched my arm. It was so soft, that I was so shocked I barely moved. Shinsou pulled my arm away from my face, and when I looked at him his face was suddenly soft.

"Would you be interested in going to school?" He asked me.
