Rose's are Red: Part 7 (Aizawa)
"Mr. Aizawa." I said into his shoulder, as we sat on my hospital bed. "I . . . . I'm going to be honest, I don't know what to say."
"Neither do I." He told me.
"What should we do?" I asked him. "Are we supposed to break each other's hearts or something? Or . . . ."
"I don't know." He said and held me a little tighter. "I do know that I don't want to hurt you."
"And I don't want you to get in trouble." I told him. "We can't date. Not now at least."
"Not until after you graduate." He said.
"Is that something we want to risk though?" I asked him and grabbed his jacket. "Is that something you want to risk? If we start dating after I graduate, and someone makes the accusation that we were together before I was at least of age . . . . . You'd lose your job as a teacher and hero, your credibility-."
"I don't really care about that." Mr. Aizawa told me and I pushed him away from me.
"But I do." I told him. "I don't want you to ruin your life, because I had one dirty thought."
"Oh so it was naughty?" He asked and put my face in my hand and he chuckled at me.
"That's not the point." I said.
"I know." He said and again we sat there in silence.
"I think you guys should do it." Someone said from the doorway and we both jumped.
"Mina." I said, and she was closing the door behind her.
"Well at not right now at least." She said. "But you should at least try. I mean we are graduating this year, and your birthday is just before graduation. You guys could start dating then."
"But what if someone tries to make accusations?" I asked.
"Maybe find a way to work at the school for a while." Mina said and shrugged. "You could work with Mr. Aizawa, and then after a while of working together say that you two just kind of clicked."
"You've been thinking about this for a while haven't you?" Mr. Aizawa asked and I couldn't help but laugh.
"A love strong enough to cause y/n to have Hanahaki disease, especially at the rate that it was, is definitely something I think is worth fighting for." Mina said and hugged me.
"Alright then." Mr. Aizawa said and stood up. "Then you and me should get dinner the night after you graduate. To talk about your future plans of working at UA." He held his hand out to me, and I shook it.
"It's a date." I said and smiled.
"I'll let you rest now." He said and walked out of the room. Mina sat on the bed next to me and squealed as she hugged me.
"I'm so happy for you!" She squealed.
"But you still told my mom!" I yelled at her.
"But she wasn't mad." Mina said and put her hands up to defend herself. "She was actually really happy for you that your love didn't get taken away."
"I know, but still." I said and put my hands on my cheeks. "What am I going to do?"
"You're going to continue to be Mr. Aizawa student, until we graduate. And then follow through with the plan." She told me.
"What if we fall out of love?" I asked her. "What if he changes his mind?"
"Well, I don't think he will." She told me and threw a bag of chips at me, before turning on the TV and sat in the chair. "And if he does before we graduate, then I might get suspended. Possibly even expelled." I couldn't help but laugh, despite the slight pain in my chest.
"And what if it doesn't happen until after we graduate?" I asked her.
"Then I'm gonna need you to bail me out of jail." She said and started snacking as we both laughed.
