Rose's are Red: Part 3 (Aizawa)
I sat outside the dorms building waiting for my mom to pull up and take me to the hospital.
"Hey." Someone said from behind me and I looked to see Mina coming towards me with a bag in hand.
"Hey." I said and she sat down next to me. "What's in the bag?"
"Stuff for after you get out of surgery." She said and showed me what was in the bag. A bunch of clothes, along with stuff to keep me entertained, and some other aftercare stuff while I stayed at the hospital over the weekend.
"Thanks Mina." I said, but she didn't let me take it from her.
"I'm going with you." She told me.
"Mina, you don't have too." I told her.
"Yes I do." She told me, and wrapped her arm around my shoulders. I hugged her, and tried not to cry again. I was really over crying.
"Y/n?" I heard behind me and I looked to see Mr. Aizawa.
"Mr. Aizawa." I said and stood up from the step.
"Are you sure you're doing the right thing?" He asked me, and I watched as my mom finally pulled up.
"It might not be the right thing, but it's definitely the best thing." I told him and me and Mina walked towards my mom's car as she got out.
"Oh sweetie!" She said and pulled me into a tight hug.
"Mom this is Mina." I said after we pulled away and I introduced them. "She knows about it, and wants to come with to the hospital."
"I can look after her while she recovers, if that's okay." Mina said and my mom pulled her into a hug.
"Oh I appreciate that." My mom told her. "Cause unfortunately I do have to go back to work tomorrow." She said and looked at me. "I was planning to come back to bring you back here after you recover from the surgery. As much as I don't want to leave you."
"I get it mom." I told her, and she stroked my cheek. "But I think I'm probably going to want to be alone after this is all over."
"Yeah. You definitely will." She said and hugged me again. "But I'm glad your friend is going to be there with you anyway. Oh is he coming too?" I turned my head to see Mr. Aizawa walking up to us.
"Mr. Aizawa?" I asked, and he introduced himself to my mom.
"Ms. L/n, would you mind if I accompanied you and your daughter to the hospital?" He asked. "I want to make sure my student is going to be alright."
"Of course." My mom answered before I could say anything to stop it. I glanced at Mina, and she gave me a worried look before we all climbed into the car.
Me and Mina sat in the backseat as my mom and Mr. Aizawa sat in the front. I stared out the window, and after a while I got a tickle in my throat.
I started coughing and Mina handed me a bag to throw up my flowers into. I started coughing really hard, and I could feel them coming up. But when they did, they didn't go into the bag.
I grabbed Mina, and she held me.
"Ms. L/n!" Mina said and Mr. Aizawa turned around in his seat. I tried pulling them out of my mouth, but these flowers were attached to the plant in my chest. And with every tug, it felt like my chest was going to break.
"Okay, hold on sweetie we're almost there." My mom said and I tried to stay calm as Mina rubbed on my back and Mr. Aizawa held my hands to keep me from pulling at the plant. But I couldn't breath.
The car stopped and everyone got out of the car. I tried walking towards the door, but tripped as I couldn't breath. Mr. Aizawa picked me up into his arms and ran for the door.
"Someone please help my daughter." I heard my mom say and she talked to one of the nurses explaining that I was scheduled for surgery.
"Are you Ms. L/n?" Someone asked and Mr. Aizawa laid me down on a bed that they brought out.
"Yes." My mom said.
"Okay, I'm the doctor that's going to do the surgery." He said and we started heading down the hallway. "I was hoping we were going to get to talk before going into the surgery, but it looks like we have no choice but to do it now."
"I'm going to need you all to stay here." I heard a nurse said and I lifted my head enough to see she was holding my mom, Mina, and Mr. Aizawa back.
"Sweetie lay still, okay? You're going to be just fine." My doctor said and pressed my head to the bed. I closed my eyes as I choked on the petals in my throat.
"Okay sweetheart, I need you to take as best of a breath as you can take okay?" A nurse said above me after we got into the surgery room and she placed a mask over my face.
But in my panic I was taking short shallow breaths until I passed out. And I was scared cause I couldn't tell if I passed out from the gas, or I was dying.
