Rhythm: Part 5 (Sero)
I took a deep breath in, and smelled something wonderful cooking. I also heard some slightly loud snoring, and looked up to see I was resting my head on Sero's chest. I smiled, and carefully pulled myself out of his grip before I changed into some different clothes.
I quietly left Hanta's room and walked down the stairs to find Sero's mother in the kitchen.
"Buenos dias." I said as I walked into the kitchen. His mother turned to me, and smiled.
"Buenos dias." She said back happily. "Did you sleep good?" I nodded to her, and she continued cooking.
"Can I help?" I asked her.
"Of course." She said and showed me what she wanted me to do. She started playing music and we both started dancing a bit while we worked. I hummed along to the song that was playing, as it was the same song that Sero and Maria were going to be dancing to at their competition.
I was dancing on my toes, swaying my hips as I cooked along side Sero's mother. Until I felt a pair of hands wrap around my waist, and I was expecting to see Carlos, since he couldn't keep his hands off of me last night. But instead I saw Hanta as he laid his head on my shoulder.
"Good morning." I told him, and he swayed with me. Our hips moving together in sync, and this is the closest we've every danced before.
"Morning." Hanta said into my shoulder, he was still waking up. He watched me as I cooked, and danced with me. After I was done doing what his mother wanted me to do, I grabbed Hanta's hand and spun him in a circle.
He smiled before wrapping his hand around my waist again and pulled me close to him as we kept dancing.
"Aye, aye, aye! Not in the kitchen Cobron!" Sero's mother yelled and hit him upside the back of the head with a slipper. I laughed, as Hanta ran away from his mother and the devil slipper. Me and Sero's mother finished cooking, just in time for everyone to be coming down the stairs.
We all lined up and got a plate of food before heading outside to sit at the large patio table.
"Y/n! Y/n!" I heard behind me and saw the twins with their little kiddie plates. "Can we sit with you?" They asked me.
"Sure." I said and they both sat in a chair next to me and we talked while we ate. Hanta sat on the other side of the twins, and every time I looked up he didn't look too happy. My guess, was because the twins had all of my attention.
"Y/n, will you dance with us like you did with papa?" They asked me, after we were done eating. Before I could say anything, they dragged me out of my chair and to an open area where the three of us started dancing together.
We were laughing have a good time, until I slipped and fell off the porch. I landed on my back and I was looking up at the sky. Hanta was suddenly above me, and was blocking out the sun from my face.
"You alright?" He asked me, and looked like he was trying not to laugh.
"Shut up." I told him and he started laughing. He helped me onto my feet, but when I started walking I instantly limped and felt like I was going to go back to the ground. "Ow." I said, and gripped onto Hanta's arms.
"What's wrong?" He asked me, and helped support me.
"I think I twisted my ankle." I told him, and tried walking again. "Oh, yep." I hummed in pain. Hanta scooped me into his arms right after, and started walking towards the house. Sero's mother had a happy look on her face, meanwhile mine was burning up.
"Hopefully this won't keep you from going out tonight." Hanta told me and walked me up to his room. He set me down on his bed, and took my shoes off. "I'll be right back." He told me, and walked out of the room.
I couldn't help but smile, and think about Hanta was taking care of me. The door opened and I was expecting to see Hanta, but instead it was his older sister.
"Hey Gabriella." I said as she snuck into the room.
"Hey." She said and jumped in the bed next to me. "Are you ready for tonight?"
"What is tonight? Hanta keeps talking about it, but hasn't said anything." I told her.
"Oh we're going to the a club." She told me and got excited.
"Are me and Hanta even going to be able to get in?" I asked her. While both me and Hanta were underage, Carlos and Gabriella were both old enough to get into the club no problem.
"Oh don't worry about that." She told me. "We've been going there for years, and we always bring Hanta with us. It'll be fine."
"Okay." I said, and I couldn't help but feel like there will be something that isn't fine.
"Gabby, get out." Hanta said as he came back into his room. His sister roller her eyes before getting off the bed and leaving the room. Sero didn't say anything as he carefully wrapped my ankle with a bandage, and put a pillow under it with an ice pack.
"Wow, you really want me to go to the club tonight, huh?" I asked and couldn't help but laugh.
"Gabby told you?" He asked, and he looked disappointed that he didn't get to tell me himself. "Pendejo!" (Asshole!) He yelled at the door, and laid down next to me. "I wanted to be the one that told you. But I think you'll have a lot of fun."
"I'm already having a lot of fun." I told him, and there was suddenly some noise coming from outside Sero's door.
"Puta! You think you can cuss in my house?" His mother said as she stormed into the room with a sandal in her hand. Hanta instantly picked me off the bed and hid behind me. "No uses a tu novia como escudo, idiota!" (Don't use your girlfriend as an shield, idiot!)
