It's Okay to be Gay: Part 5 (Friendship: Kirishima)
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Bakugo yelled.
"We almost lost y/n yesterday!" Mina yelled and started crying, from y/n's bedside. "And all you can think about is that sending her away?"
"She's obviously not right in her head!" Y/n's mother yelled back. "I don't know what you people are doing to her at that school to make her think that's it's okay-!"
"To be gay?" Momo asked, her and a couple of the other students walked up behind them. "What we're doing to her at school is giving her love and support, that you obviously don't care to give her."
"You don't know how I raised my child!" Ms. L/n yelled at the children.
"They don't." Kirishima said and stepped forward. "But I do."
"Kirishima?" She asked, and a small look of panic came over her face.
"She's told me everything you've ever said to her." Kirishima said. "Everything you've done to her. Whether you meant to or not, you're the reason she's depressed! Before all of this. Did you know that she has depression?"
"I-." She went to say.
"No you didn't." Kirishima said and stepped towards her. "She tried talking to you about it, and you ignored her. Every time she tries to tell you something that's going right in her life, you tear her down. You want all of her time, but won't give her a minute of yours."
"That's not true!" She argued back.
"How is it not?" Kirishima asked her. "She was raised by nanny's, because you were too busy with your life to even try to be apart of hers." He took a deep breath. "Five minutes. Five minutes is all it would have taken for you to turn everything around. To tell her you accept her, for being gay."
"But I won't accept it." She said.
"Stop!" Kirishima yelled for the first time during this whole conversation. "Stop all of this right now, or I will take your daughter and I will run away with her. And you will never see her again. Because I don't care if she's gay. I care that she is safe and happy. I care that she is loved, and that she can give her love to whoever she wants."
Kirishima stopped for a second to catch his breath as tears started rolling down his face.
"I won't accept this." Y/n's mom said once again, and this time she was quiet. She tried to walk towards y/n's room, but the entire class stopped her.
"Then get out." Kirishima said, and pointed towards the elevators. "Leave and never come back."
"Who do you think you are telling me what to do?" She yelled and went to hit Kirishima. Before she could hit him, Kirishima hardened his face and she hit solid rock. She backed away holding her hand and Aizawa stepped in front of his class.
"And now that you've laid a hand on my children." He said and waved to the security guard, that had walked towards the shouting. "When you get done getting your hand looked at, you can leave. And don't even try coming after y/n again." Y/n's mother didn't say anything as the security guard dragged her away.
"Guys!" Mina said, and everyone turned around to look into y/n's room. Kirishima walked into the room and up to the bed. Y/n was stirring awake.

POV: Back to you
I took a deep breath, and I felt pain in my chest. I felt something around my hand, and something touching my head. I managed to open my eyes a little bit, but there was a really bright light.
"Do you want the lights off?" I heard, I nodded and closed my eyes really hard. The light went out and I managed to open my eyes all the way. I looked around, and in the dark room I saw everyone from my class.
"Hey guys." I breathed out. Mina laughed a cry and squeezed my hand. I looked at my body, and both my left arm and leg were in casts.
"Hey." Kiri said above me, and he was petting my hair. "How's it going?"
"It's going I guess." I said, and licked my lips, my mouth was dry.
"Do you want some water?" Mina asked me, and I nodded. Mina held a cup to my lips and I managed to get a drink.
"What happened?" I asked, after I savored the taste of ice water.
"Do you not remember?" Bakugo asked me, and when I looked at him I remembered him giving me a dare. I closed my eyes, and the memories started coming back to me.
"Oh god." I whispered to myself. "Oh god, I'm so sorry." I said, and I could feel tears rolling down my face.
"Shh, it's okay." Kiri said and hugged me. I wrapped my good arm around his neck, and as much as it hurt to move like this. I didn't let go of him.
"I'm so sorry." I sobbed into his shoulder, and I felt Mina hug onto me too.
"Wait, where's my mom?" I asked, when Kiri pulled away from me.
"Don't worry about her." Mr. Aizawa said. "She doesn't matter right now."
"How did that parent-teacher conference go?" I asked him and wiped the tears off my cheeks. I couldn't help but laugh a bit, at least until my chest hurt.
"I think it went well." He answered. "Although, I think it was more of students-parent conference."
"Oh boy." I laughed. "I'm so sorry. I was so upset. I don't know what I was thinking." I put my hand to my mouth, and tried not to keep crying.
"It's okay." Kiri told me and brushed my hair out of my face. "Well it's not okay, that you tried to kill yourself. Which I will beat you for." I laughed a little. "But you're okay, and that's okay."
"We're really happy you're okay." Momo said.
"Now that you woke up, we'll let you rest." Aizawa said and started shoving everyone out of my room. He went to shove Bakugo out the door, but he stopped him for a moment before everyone else went out the door and somewhere down the hallway. Bakugo came up to my bed, but he wouldn't look at me.
"Bakugo?" I asked him as he sat in the chair next to my bed.
"I want to apologize." He forced out. I flinched and it hurt, but I couldn't help but be surprised.
"What?" I asked him.
"I made you call your mom." He said, and all he did was stare down at his hands.
"Bakugo, you didn't make me do anything." I told him, and he looked at me. "I went along with calling my mom, because your guys reactions to me coming out made me feel better about myself. I called her, because I thought she was going to have the same reaction."
"That didn't go over well." He said and gestured to me in the bed.
"Obviously not." I said, and we laughed together. "Bakugo, don't blame yourself. I wasn't thinking. . . . Or rather I was thinking too much. Either way, it wasn't your fault. It was all on me."
"No, not all of it was on you." He told me, and gave me an annoyed look.
"Okay, fine." I sighed. "But none of it is on you." We sat there in silence for a minute, until a nurse walked into the room.
She was cute. With long sand colored hair, and beautiful green eyes. She had cute little freckles dancing all over her nose, and the brightest smile I've ever seen.
"I'm going to have to ask you to leave, while I do a check up." She told Bakugo, and he finally stood up.
"Then get some rest you idiot." He told me, and walked towards the door.
"Thanks." I told the nurse and laughed a little. "That was getting pretty awkward."
"Oh I figured, I didn't mean to snoop. But I also didn't want to interrupt you and your boyfriend." She told me and started writing on her clipboard.
"Oh he's not my boyfriend." I said, and laughed a little too hard. "I'm gay." I held my breath and I realized that I had just said that out loud, with no hesitation or fear. I relaxed my body and smiled to myself.
"Oh really?" She asked, and took small glances at me. "You have a girlfriend then?"
"No, I just recently came out to my friends." I told her, and she did a couple of check ups on my vitals.
"Alright, then go ahead and follow your friends advice and get some rest cutie." She told me and winked before walking out of the room. I sat there for a couple of seconds as I tried processing, what just happened.
She flirted with me.
SHE FLIRTED WITH ME!!!
