POV: Nobody

"No!" Kirishima yelled as he neared the bridge. He watched as y/n fell, and when he was close enough to where she jumped. He too jumped over the railing.

"Kirishima!" Mr. Aizawa yelled as he watched his student jump the railing. Kirishima hardened himself and dove into the water feet first.

"Holy fuck that's cold." He yelled once he surfaced and he swam after a sheet of ice that was carrying y/n away. He climbed up onto the ice block and saw a pool of blood forming around her head. And there was a spiderweb of cracks that formed around her body.

Instead of falling into the river, she landed on a thick block of ice.

Kirishima carefully picked her up off the block and held his arm up and Mr. Aizawa threw his scarf out and it wrapped around Kiri's arm

Everyone grabbed a hold of the scarf and started pulling, so fast that Kirishima didn't hit the water again. Bakugo and Mr. Aizawa grabbed onto Kirishima after they got him back up to the railing and pulled both of them back over the railing.

"Oh my god." Momo, said and as soon as Kiri had gone over the railing she called 911. Sirens could be heard, making their way towards them.

"Y/n!" Mr. Aizawa said and held her face. He opened her eyelid, but there was no kind of response.

"She's still breathing." Kirishima said and they got her covered up by her jacket.

The paramedics pulled up to the bridge and Mr. Aizawa had to hold Kirishima to get him away from y/n. They started getting her moved to a gurney, and getting an IV in her arm right away and as soon as she was strapped down, they rolled her away to the ambulance.

Kirishima jumped into the back of the ambulance as well with a blanket wrapped around him, and he sat right behind her head where he wouldn't be in the way. But still needed to be rushed to the hospital as well.

"Y/n, you got to stay with us okay?" Kirishima said to her, as the paramedic continued to work with y/n. Trying to keep her breathing, and to stop the bleeding. "You have to stay with us." He held his face next to hers shivering.

Everyone rushed to the hospital, only to be told that y/n had just gone into surgery. Everyone sat in the waiting room, flinching every time a nurse or doctor walked through the doors.

"Should we call her mom?" Mina asked.

"She'll be here tomorrow anyway." Mr. Aizawa said. "Last thing y/n needs is to be dealing with her right now."

"Mr. Aizawa is she going to be okay?" Denki asked.

"I think she'll be just fine." He told Denki.

"This is my fault." Bakugo said as he leaned forward and put his face in his hands. "If I didn't give her that damn dare."

"It's not your fault." Momo said. "It's her mother who said those words."

"But I gave her the dare." Bakugo said again.

"But you didn't call her disgusting." Todoroki said.

"Hey guys." Someone said and they all turned to see Kirishima wrapped up in a blanket.

"Kirishima, are you okay?" Aizawa asked and Kirishima sat down next to him.

"I'm fine." He said. "They got me warmed up fast enough they released me already. The worst thing that'll happen is I get a cold."

"Did you hear anything?" Mina asked.

"The nurse said that she's got a lot of broken bones, and she's in surgery for her fractured skull right now." Kirishima said. "The nurse said that she should be fine."

"Should be or will be?" Sero asked.

"She will be fine." A nurse said as she walked up to the group. "Y/n's fractured skull didn't do any damage to her brain, other than she might have a concussion. She's already moved onto surgery for other bones in her body."

"How many bones broke?" Momo asked. The nurse looked at her clipboard for a moment.

"This says eight so far." She answered. "That includes her skull. But most of them were her ribs, and luckily none of them punctured a lung. However she also has a broken arm and leg, with two breaks in her arm. One in her wrist and the other in her forearm. She also has a dislocated disk in her back, but luckily there was no damage done to her spine."

"You said 'so far'?" Kirishima asked.

"Yes due to the rush of getting her into surgery, the doctor wasn't able to get terribly detailed x-rays. But focused on where it was mostly important so there's the chance that more could be found later, once y/n is more stable. She got very lucky."

"Thank you." Aizawa said and she nodded before walking away.

"Lucky?" Deku asked.

"I should have busted her door open the moment she closed it." Kirishima said.

"Nothing can be done about it now." Aizawa said. "What matters is that she's going to be alright."

"She tried to kill herself." Kirishima said.

"But she's going to be alright." Aizawa said again. "She was extremely upset and stressed. And acted on it."

"Because we weren't right there." Kirishima said, and Aizawa rested his hand on his shoulder.

"We were there, at the right time." He told Kirishima and the rest of the class. "We could have gotten closer, but who knows how that would have ended up. We should be grateful we were there at all."

"She's alive and that's all that matters." Momo said.

"That's right." Aizawa said. "And now all we can do, is wait until we can go visit her. Although we should get back to the school."

"No!" All the kids yelled, and Aizawa sat back in his seat.

"Or not."
