Blindness is Key: Part 5 (Bakugo)

"Alright everyone! Gather around!" Mr. Aizawa called out, and I followed Bakugo with my hand on his shoulder as he guided me.

"We're going to be traveling out of town for a couple of days and having training days." Someone explained, I hadn't heard his voice before.

"Who is that?" I asked Bakugo.

"Mr. Mic." He said, I nodded.

"During the next couple of days you'll be able to focus directly on enhancing your quirk and combat experience." Mr. Mic explained. We then all started walking towards buses that were going to take us to our training grounds. Bakugo helped me get my bag in the carrying compartment, and we went to get on.

I stepped up onto the first step and stopped, grabbing onto Bakugo's arm.

"What's wrong?" Mina asked, she was right behind me. Her hands rested on my hips.

"I can't see the steps." I said, and Bakugo was in front of me and grabbed my hand and they both helped me up the steps. Mina pulled me into a seat next to her, and laughed as Bakugo got mad at her.

The bus started and I grabbed onto the arm rests, hard. Mina put her hand on my arm.

"You okay?" She asked me.

"I don't like travelling." I said. "I can't see anything, and I'm supposed to trust that a shaking piece of metal is going to keep me safe."

"Well we've got you." Mina told me and took my hand, as Kiri put his hand on my shoulder. He was right behind me.

"Thanks." I said and let my head rest against the seat.

After about an hour, I had finally started to relax. We were traveling and I suddenly had a bad feeling in my gut. I sat up in my seat and tried focusing on the feeling.

"What's up y/n?" Kirishima asked, but I didn't answer him.

"Mina, can you open the window?" I asked her. I heard it click open, and I stood up. I reached my hand out the window and I shot a small pillar of the road to hit my hand before it went back into the road.

And what I could see scared me. And we were about to be going over a long bridge any minute.

"Y/n, can you please not cause trouble?" Mr. Aizawa asked, and I started panicking.

"Stop the buses!" I yelled.

"What are you talking about?" Mr. Aizawa asked, and I started running towards the front of the bus.

"Stop the bus!" I yelled again, and I shot forward all of a sudden and fell in the aisle. The bus stopped. I picked myself off the floor and threw myself down the stairs. I pushed the doors open and fell to my knees again.

"Idiot are you trying to get us killed?" Bakugo asked and he pulled me out of the way of a car. I didn't get off the ground and tapped the ground with my hand.

"Y/n, what are you doing?" Mr. Aizawa asked me, and I felt him step onto the highway with me. We were on a large highway that merged before being condensed into a few lanes back and forth on two separate bridges.

"There's an earthquake coming." I said, and picked myself off the ground. "A bad one." I took off towards the bridge. Everyone yelled and started following me. I ran towards the bridge and every time there was an opening I set up a earth barricade to keep cars from going towards the bridge.

Finally I got all the cars going towards the bridge to stop, and I could feel the ground starting to shake. I ran across the way and started running against traffic.

"Y/n! Get back here!" Mr. Aizawa yelled, but I ignored him and it was almost like everything changed in an instance. I stepped foot on the bridge and it reminded me of the time I held a worm in my hand. Flailing around frantically. But I didn't stop running.

The bridge was going to snap. And I could feel exactly where it was going to break.

I heard the crack before I could feel it. And I dove for the ground, just as the bridge started separating. I pulled with everything I had, and ended up getting dragged a little bit. I dug my fingers into the road, and held onto both sides of bridge with my legs swinging between the gap.

And I was the only thing keeping it from completely collapsing, as I dangled between the split road.

"Idiot, what are you doing?" Bakugo yelled and I felt his hands on my arm.

"Get everyone off the bridge." I said, I could already feel cars on the far end already getting off the bridge. "I can hold it, go! Get everyone to safety!" I could feel the muscles in my arms stretching.

"Are you sure you can hold it?" Mr. Aizawa asked me.

"Not with stupid questions like that." I choked out. "Hurry up and get everyone off the bridge, I've got it!" I said and everyone jumped to the longer side and started running to get people off the bridge.

Pulling men, women, and children out of cars and making them run for the far end of the bridge.

"Well, well, well." Someone said as they approached me from the other side, the same side I had come running from. "What do we have here?"

"Looks like a damsel in distress." Someone said, and I flinched. That was Dabi's voice.
