Blindness is Key: Part 16 (Bakugo)
I woke up, and felt around on the bed quietly, but I didn't feel Bakugo. I moved over slightly and touched the wall, only to see him on the floor doing push ups.
I quietly got out of the bed and walked over behind him. I put my hands on his shoulders while he was lower to the ground and he stayed still as I laid down on his back.
"Good morning." I said in his ear and kissed the back of his neck.
"Morning." He said and I wrapped my arms around his body. I crossed my ankles and made sure my legs weren't in his way.
"Am I too heavy?" I asked him as he started doing push ups again.
"Maybe not heavy enough." He said and I snorted. "Ready for training today?"
"Something special happening today?" I asked him.
"We're all sparring today." Bakugo said and the idea kind of sounded fun.
"Are we picking partners or are they being given to us?" I asked.
"Aizawa is assigning us partners." He told me. "I hope I get that perverted douche rocket. I'll squash him like the grape that he is."
"Well that wouldn't be a fair fight." I laughed. Bakugo hummed and stopped doing push-ups. He laid down straight on the ground and put his arms out to the side. "Done already?" I asked him.
"How about you do some?" He asked me. I put my hands on the ground and lifted myself off of him, he rolled over underneath me. I lowered myself down, and he gave me a quick peck on the lips.
"Well in that case." I said and laid back on top of him and hugged him. I couldn't help but laugh and he wrapped his arms around me.
"You guys are so cute!" Mina screamed from the door, and scared Bakugo. I barely flinched as I had seen her making her way down the hall.
"What do you want raccoon eyes?" He asked her and I laid my head on Bakugo's chest.
"Well this is still partially my room, and I need clothes." She said and started digging through her bag. "Which means get out so I can change." Bakugo groaned and I rolled off of him onto the floor next to him as he sat up.
"I'll see you down stairs." He told me and kissed me on the cheek before getting off the floor. He shut the door on the way out and I felt Mina excitingly jump to turn around and look at me.
"Yes?" I asked her.
"You look really happy." She told me.
"I feel really happy." I said and laid there on the floor. "It's been a long time since I was happy."
"Well I'm happy for you." She told me, and pulled me off the floor. "Now hurry up and change so we can go get breakfast."

Bakugo held my hand as we walked to the beach once again for training.
"Y/n, you're going to be sparring first with Kirishima." Mr. Aizawa said from behind me. I heard Bakugo groan quietly to himself and I stepped a little closer to him and bumped my body against his.
"Alright!" Kiri said and he threw an arm around my shoulders. "Get ready to get beat. Just cause you're dating Bakubro now doesn't mean I'm going to take it easy on you. And loser buys shaved ice."
"Bring it." I told him. "If I can kick you ass at a puzzle, I can kick your ass in a fight."
"Hurt her, and I'll kick your ass." Bakugo said on the other side of me, and I smacked his chest.
"Bakugo, I'm a big girl." I told him. "I'll be alright."
"Whatever." He grumbled and I stopped walking right at the edge of the sand. I took a deep breath and held Bakugo's hand a little tighter, and stepped into the sand. We walked a little ways before we stopped and Bakugo let me go, taking my glasses with him.
"Alright ready?" Mr. Aizawa asked, everyone as he placed his hands on my shoulders to guide me to a more open area. I stood still as he let go and stepped away from me. "Start!"
"Wait where is he?" I asked, and got tackled by Kiri. He put me in a choke hold, and I could hear him laughing in my ear. "Oh hello. What the rules?" I yelled.
"No quirks and don't break anything!" Mr. Aizawa said it loud enough from the side so I'd hear him.
"Oh, that means I can get dirty." I said and reached over our heads and grabbed onto the back of Kiri's head and pulled his hair. His head moved back and his grip loosened a bit, which allowed me to crawl away from him and I stayed crouching as I concentrated.
I stayed quiet and waited to hear something other than the ocean and calmed my breathing. But Kiri wasn't making any noise, that I could hear in the sand.
"Hey Kiri if you go down a slide would you be a rock slide?" I asked, and I heard a small chuckle just behind me and threw myself at him. I tackled him, but before I could try and pin him to the ground he rolled us over and put me in an arm bar. "No breaking!" I yelled at him.
"I'm not breaking yet!" He yelled back at me. I reached up and grabbed onto his wrist and managed to pull just enough to get my arm free from his grip. I jumped onto top of him and we went rolling in the sand again trying to fight for each others limbs.
Eventually he put his foot to my stomach and kicked me off of him. I hit the ground on my back and immediately rolled onto my knees and waited for him to attack me, but he didn't come after me again. I steadied my breathing, and listened again.
"Quit circling me like a shark, you ass." I said.
This time I heard a small scrunching sound and turned towards the sound and stood up as Kiri grabbed a hold of me. But because he went to grab me while I was on the ground his grip was lower and I wrapped my legs around his torso and he took us back to the ground.
He tried grabbing onto my arm to try and put me into another arm bar. I fought with everything I had to keep my arms as close to my body as possible, but Kiri was a lot stronger then me. He straightened out my arm, but I didn't let go of him with my legs.
I snaked my leg up the back of his body, and managed to wrap my leg over his shoulder and pushed the back of my ankle around his throat and pushed my leg up straight. At this point it was up to whoever would tap out first. My arm was hurting, but he was struggling to breath.
Then I felt him tap my arm, and at the same time we let go. We rolled away from each other and took time to get our breathing back.
"Nice fight you two." Mr. Aizawa said, and I rubbed where my arm was hurting.
"You okay?" I asked Kiri.
"Yeah, that ankle thing was impressive." He said and I felt him touch my shoulder. I grabbed his hand and he helped me up. I grabbed onto his arm, and hugged his arm to me. "You alright?" He asked me in a panic.
"I can't take not seeing anymore." I said and he laughed at me, as we walked.
"Get off of her shitty hair." Bakugo said and shoved him away from me by the face, as Bakugo wrapped his arm around me. I hugged him and closed my eyes.
"Mr. Aizawa, can I go back to the pavement?" I asked him.
"Sure, Bakugo you're up after this fight." He said and I heard two people start sparring. Bakugo guided me back over to the pavement, I fell to the ground face first as soon as my feet touched it.
"You really got to stop doing that." Bakugo said and sat next to me and I moaned into the ground.
"I can't help it." I said and laid the side of my face on the pavement. I drummed my fingers on the ground and took in the sight of a few cars in the parking lot, and not much else. "You're staring." I said to him, and he ran his finger over my face and dragged hair away.
"I think I deserve some right to." He said, and I could hear the smile on his face. I smiled too, and closed my eyes as I enjoyed the feeling of the sun on my back. "Besides, technically, you're always staring too."
"Good point." I said and laughed a little.
"Alright, you choking cheater." I heard Kiri's voice, and turned to in his direction as he stepped onto the pavement. I sat up off the ground, and he handed me a cup with shaved ice.
"How am I the choking cheater?" I asked him and took a bite of the ice. "You literally tried choking me out in the beginning."
"Yeah yeah. Aizawa said you're up already." He said and sat down next to me.
"Damn, dunce face couldn't hold his own that long?" Bakugo asked and got up.
"Actually Denki won." Kiri said and Bakugo was surprised to hear that. I laughed, and pulled Bakugo down to me by his shirt. I kissed him on the lips before I let him go.
"Good luck." I told him, and he walked away into the sand.
"I don't need luck damn it." He said and I laughed at his stubbornness.
"Are you okay, though?" Kiri asked me as he sat with me, and we ate our shaved ice.
"I'm fine Kiri." I told him with a smile. "You don't have to worry, I said I was a big girl."
"That doesn't mean you can't get hurt." He told me. "And you're arm is bruising too." He said and I felt where the most pressure had been put on my arm. It was tender, but it wasn't that bad.
"Kiri, I'm okay. I promise." I told him.
"Bakugo's going to kill me." He whined and I laughed at him.
"Well like I told Mina before. 'If I don't see it, it doesn't exist'." I told him, and he laughed for a moment.
"When did you say that?" He asked me.
"When she told me you took a picture of me and Bakugo." I told him, and put my hand on my hip. "Speaking of which."
"Uh oh."
