Ugh....

I almost fall into my locker trying to keep myself balanced.

Recovery girl used alot of my energy trying to heal me... which worked however made me very tired... how am I even supposed to stay awake for this training excercise.

I punch myself and the guy's around me start staring at me but I don't care it helps me stay awake.

I put on the rest of my costume then left the boy's locker room and saw Momo leaning on the wall.

When I saw her I immediately rush back to the locker room catching my breath as my face turns red

Now I'm starting to remember how I ended up in the infirmary

The other guys start looking at me red weirdly. One of them named Kirishima eijirou says "uhh.... Todoroki? You okay there?"

I relax and say "yeah..." I exit the room. Momo not here. She must've left. I breathed in.

Now I remember...

The whole class went quiet with me stunned as I put my hand over my mouth, my face turning bright red.  Yaomomo's face was red too.

"Pervert!!" she screamed. An axe coming out of her hand.

You probably know what happens next... I got knocked with the flat side of the axe. Though.. it happened so fast...

Yet why did she call me the pervert when Bakugou started it first... I said sighing as I rub my head the place where she hit the axe.

"Todoroki..." I looked up and saw Tokoyami the bird faced boy called me "You're going to be late to training if you don't come now.."

"Of course.." I responded. Following him outside. 

When we got outside All might was standing there with the others.

"Great everyone's here!! Now let me explain today's training!!" He said.

"Today each of you must unarm a bomb hidden in this large building you see here. But the real test is.. who will do it first? There will be challenges my friends!! There will be robots you've seen in the entrance exam trying to block your way from getting to the bomb.All of you will be working alone!! So it's everyone for themselves!! Remember!! You are not here to help others!! You must be independent!! The training will show how well you work by yourself!!" He said smiling.

Everyone had different reactions
Some were scared..
Some were excited...

I was neither this was a training I was gonna do well in...

"Well what are you standing around for!! Begin!!" All might yelled

All of us ran to the building including me. Some ran to the front entrance.. others were smart climbing into the windows so they could avoid the crowded area, I used my ice to get me to the roof top. Below me I can already hear the complaints of others.

"Hey!! That's not fair!!" One person said.

"Life isn't fair!!" I yelled back.

I'll start at the top and work my way to the bottom to search for the bomb.

I was about to walk to the door when I almost fell down trying...

Agh...

I'm too tired.. I must've used to much energy building that big ice wall to get up here... to make matters worser... I still haven't recovered my energy I lost when being healed by Recovery girl..

I'll be dead if I bump into one of the robots.

As I make my way down I lean on the wall for support. Trying to stable myself.

I peer over the side and spotted some of the robots over the corner.

I sighed. I walked over and stomped my foot allowing the ice to freeze the robots before they could even start attacking me.

"AGH!!" I fall to my knees clutching my side.

I start to get sleepy. As my eyes almost shut.

No... I must keep going.. I try to stand up but end up falling to the wall. I'm so useless.. I breathe trying to figure what to do next..

As I wander aimlessly through the corridors and the hallways I stumbled to see a robot.

Oh no...

The robot spotted me and started rushing to me.

I put my hand on the wall trying to freeze him but my ice turned into water instead.

Crap!!

The robot punches me in the stomach sending me flying across the hallway then finally letting my back slam into the wall.

"Agh!!" I say trying to get up but falling right back down...

I can't even move...

The robot hover over me pointing his gun at me.

I close my eyes...

Blam!! blam!!

I breathe... no pain? Is this what dying feels like?

I open my eyes. And see someone standing there putting a shield in front of herself and me.

She turns back

"Momo..." I gasp.
"Todoroki-kun.." she smiles.
Ok I don't even care right now if I die I just saw the most beloved thing in the world!!

"I will save you!!" She says turning back to the robot.
I groan clutching my back "That's not part of the training..."
"YOU ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN TRAINING!!" She yells as she charges at the robot attacking it with the sword she created.

A wave of redness fills my cheeks. And in 5 minutes the robot turns into just metal parts.

She catches her breath. "Todorki you should've told All might you weren't feeling alright." Holding out her hand.

I blush as I take her hand...so soft... it's just a friendly gesture don't do that thing where you overeact and your quirk goes al-

My left side bursts into flames....

I kick myself don't do that...
"Ahh!! Of course!! Todoroki-kun must test out his quirk to make sure he's alright!! Yes!! yes!! How smart of you!!" Momo says.

At least she didn't get the wrong idea..

She puts my arm over her shoulder holding me up as we walk down the building where she says she's taking me to recovery girl no matter how many times I complained.

We were mostly silent when we walked... so to break the silent I say

"Earlier... you said that I should've told All might that I wasn't feeling alright... how did you know.."

She looks at me "Well mostly when recovering from Recovery girl's injuries you're supposed to rest for at least 1 hour. And when I came to check on you Recovery girl said that you disappeared to training. And you didn't look alright when you came.."

I look at her..
"Momo... before..I'm sorry.. for saying.." this is going to be awkward...
"Its not your fault.. you were just trying to stand up for me but said the wrong thing at the wrong time.... that's all...." she said giving me a weak smile.

We reached to the bottom of the building and saw All might standing outside.

"Young Todoroki and Yaoyorozu I thought I told you this was an independent assignment!!"

Momo sighed "Sir!! Todoroki was tired and hurt, as a hero I couldn't just stand around and do nothing!!"

All might puts me over his shoulder so I couldn't really see Momo.

"I see..." All might says "however this doesn't mean you get full credit for this assignment... but you get an A for effort!!" He said putting up a thumbs up "Now come a long hero Momo!!"

I was put in Recovery Girl's office where she gave a big lecture about how resting was important and that you shouldn't act so recklessly when using your quirk and so on...

Once I hit the bed I immediately fell asleep.

When I woke up I looked at the clock I slept for 2 hours..  was I that tired?

However I felt great!!

I look next to me there was a note
Recovery girl on lunch break!!

There was a knock on the door. I opened the door to see Momo standing outside.

"Todoroki may I come in.." she said.
"Of course..."

We sat at the chairs in silence.

"Momo... I just want to say... Thank you for everything.. I could've died backed there but you saved me and even got a bad grade for it... is there anything I could do to repay you..." I said.

She looked stunned.

"Well... there is something..." she said smiling mischievously.

I gulped please don't tell me she wants my dad's autograph...

"I want to see you smile!!" She said then putting on a smile of her own.

What.....

"You could ask for anything but you rather would want to see me smile..." I said.

She nods her head excitedly.
"But didn't you see me smile... in the first day of school.." I said.
"You were smiling? I just saw you make a weird fa- oh wait...." she said.

My face flushed "I guess I don't know how to smile.." I said.
"What!! That's impossible!!" She said.

She put two fingers on the tips of my mouth trying to push it upwards just to have it fall back down to my usual face.

She tried again the same thing happened.

"Ok now my face hurts..."
Momo giggles "lemme get something..." she walks over to her bag until she trips and falls down.

"AHHH!!"Momo says as she falls down face first.

"Pffffttt"

I laugh. Then Momo looks at me I start to think that maybe she would start yelling at me to stop laughing but she says "pause"

I smiled trying to contain my laughter "what?"

She puts a hand on my cheek

"There.. that's how you smile.."
