Am I over dressing?

I sighed, looking into the mirror, I was wearing a tight white shirt with black jeans and with a confused look on my face.

I peek out of my door to see my sister reading a book on the couch. Am I seriously suggesting my sister for advice?

My phone buzzes in my pocket, I take it in my hand and look at the bright screen. An unknown number? Who was it?

I opened the chat,

+777-363-8888: It's me, Momo!! ^_^

A smile widens on my face, of course she would use such a cute emoji.

Me: Hello, Kamanari said you will be going to the movies with the three of us.
Momo: Yeah! It'll be a lot of fun. I'm walking there right now, I'll see you then! :)
Me: Okay,

I sighed in happiness, I've been so happy these last couple of days it must be because of her.

Speaking of which I should probably head to the movie theater. I grab my jacket then open the door and walk pass my sister, "Bye, I'm going out."

Fuyumi looks back at me, "Hold up. Why are you, trying to dress all fancy?"

What does she mean trying? Am I really that bad? I stop in my tracks. "I'm just going out with a couple of friends." I say rolling my eyes.

She smiles, "Who? Momo~" her tongue slurring through the letters of her name.

My face starts to turn red, "That's none of your business! Plus, have I ever digged into your relationship with Hawks!?"

It was her turn for her face to flush into a red color. I could almost feel icicles melting in this atmosphere. "THERE'S NOTHING TO DIG THAT'S WHY!"

"OH~ SO YOU ADMIT YOU GUYS DO HAVE THAT KIND OF  A RELATIONSHIP!"
"SHOUTO, I'M GOING TO FREEZE YOU TO DEATH, YOU HEAR ME!?"

I look both ways before crossing the street, the sun was just starting to set. I hope I'm not late, I don't want to keep everyone waiting.

I reach to the address Kamanari had sent me. When I got there, Momo was already waiting. Her hair was pulled back into her usual ponytail and had a white strap dress reaching above her knees and a black bag hanging on her shoulder.

She looked, beautiful...

I walk towards her, and saw she had a phone in her hand. Whoever Momo was talking to, it seemed she was in distress.

"I understand, however they're my friends. I just want to spend time with them.... Yes father, I'll make sure to be back early.." she says then turns around to see me and our eyes meet. Momo whispers, "I must go, goodbye father." Then smiles at me when she puts down her phone.

"You look beautiful.." was the first thing I said when I walked up to her.

Momo giggles, "I think I overdressed."

"That was the exact thing I thought." I chuckled looking down at my clothes.

"Well in the end, at least we both look great!" She smiles.

I sighed, "Yeah.."

Not taking our eyes off each other, I coughed. "Um, was that your dad earlier?"

"Oh! Yeah, um.." Momo touches her arm then looks down, a thing she does when she feels uncomfortable. "He doesn't really approve of me, y'know hanging out with friends. To be a perfect heir you need to study all the time!" She says sadly.

My eyebrows knit together, "Yeah, I have my fair share of that.." remembering the days when I was forced to train as a kid, isolating myself from my siblings. "But we need to remeber.. that we aren't, what are parents force us to be.."

Momo looks up at me, I smiled at her glance. "We are so much more."

She gasps, why does she look suprised? "Thank you.. Todoroki~ kun. I really needed someone to tell me that.."

I smiled back at her,

"Yooooooo!!! Todoroki, nice to see you man!!" Kamanari walks up with Jirou waving at us.

Jirou laces her arms around Momo's. "Ready to watch Crazy rich Asians, I heard it's hilarious."

Momo smiles, "Can't wait, I'll buy the popcorn okay!" She says to the rest of us.

"Yeah, leave the movie tickets to us!" Kamanari says patting me on the shoulder. "Operation double date!! Is a go!"

Momo's cheek turns red, mine's too I'm lucky I didn't turn into a human torch. "Wait this is a date!?"

Jirou sighs, "Don't get me wrong, you two are dating we are just third wheelers." Pointing to her and Kamanari.

I could see Denki's pained expression on his face. "Ouch..." he replies.

I chuckled under my breath, been there.
