Gulf's POV

"pleased to meet you, I'm Gulf Kanawut" I introduced myself to Mew's friends who was sitting facing us in the living room

"I'm Luke and this is Noah"

"thank you for letting us in"

"you should have called me" Mew said looking a bit anxious

"we wanted to surprise you, we called your father and he told us that you are living here, we never expected to find you living with a roommate" Noah said

"hey Mew are do you look worried? We shouldn't have come right?" Luke asked

"yes! You should at least have stayed at some hotel"

"Mew don't say it like that, you explain everything well to them while I prepare smth for them" (A/N Gulf called him just Mew since in English countries they don't use any prefix) I said going to the kitchen, when I came back with the tray

"that's so serious and dangerous, what is the police doing until now!!" Noah exclaimed

"they are searching for them, well if the boss is caught the rest will be easy"

"still, with my experience, smth like this won't make you this worried Mew, me and Noah are used to those things, there is smth more serious right?" Luke asked surprising us, Mew told me about his friends, Luke is an amazing detective in the Crimes investigation division while Noah is a prosecutor, it's not weird for them to notice this, Mew looked away thinking

"actually, there is another killer who is after me, but I'm keeping it a secret from everyone else, only Mew knows about him, I'm really sorry, you even came all this way to meet Mew but things are so serious and you may even get targeted by this murder, that's why Mew is so worried about your safety" they glanced to each other than back to me as well as Mew

"thank you for sharing your secret with us but as a detective I think you really need to tell the police about him"

"I will but not now, I want the police to completely focus on finding the group first so I can be assured of my parents' safety then I will see how I will deal with that psycho"

"you mean how we will deal with him" Mew said making me smile

"of course" his friends looked surprised for a moment

"wow Mew, it's rare for you to get along so well with someone, you made a huge change" Noah said

"we are so proud of you" we giggled while Mew was glaring at them, we enjoyed talking for a while about random things than helped brighten up the mood, his friends are really great and fun to talk to, after eating dinner

"hey Mew, do you know any close hotel, we actually rushed here thinking that we can stay at your place" Noah said

"so please take us to a close one where we can stay"

"why? You can just stay here if you don't mind" I said

"Gulf is right, considering the situation I should be kicking you back to London but since I know you are strong enough you can just spend your time here, both of you can use my room and rest there"

"thank you, both of you" after taking a bath, they both went to sleep, Mew who just finished his bath came and laid on my bed

"tomorrow, go take your friends and show them around" I said

"are you stupid? I won't leave you alo-"

"don't worry, I'm safe here at my house, you can't keep your friends locked here, they came all the way from England to have fun, so just go take them around"

"then you come too" I shook my head

"you'll be restless all the time if I tag along and even your friends would be nervous and concerned, they came here to take it easy, don't worry about me, it's not like the first time" Mew thought for a while

"alright but you hav-"

"I promise I will lock myself home and won't even open the door to anyone and I will keep my phone with me and charged and call you if anything happened, so make sure to enjoy yourself with P' Luke and P' Noah" Mew agreed and kept nagging me not to do anything and just stay quietly, that night I was both happy and worried, I'm so glad that Mew got an amazing friends but I'm also worried about them so it's better if they stay away from me as much as possible

Aside from everything, It felt weird sharing the bed with Mew, it's actually my first time sleeping with someone, we were silently laying back to back, when I suddenly heard moving behind me I couldn't help but peek a little to find that he was already sleeping soundly, he must be used to having someone sleep with him, seeing his sleeping face and made me to also fall asleep

The next day, after seeing them off, I sat studying a little about my internship post, then did a video chat with Ram teaching him some English, after eating lunch I sat watching a TV series, it was an interesting on that got me fully concentrated, when my phone rang I just answered without even looking while trying to pause

"hello" I said waiting for someone to talk but there was only silence, I finally looked to the screen to find an unknown number, I talked again but it was completely silent, I waited for another minute and since I didn't hear a thing I decided to hung, just when I was about to tap the red button

"my Gulf~~" a faint barely audible voice suddenly was heard that made me quiver almost dropping my phone, for me it's an unforgettable voice, I couldn't say anything as I kept looking to my phone, there was another minute of silence

"my lovely cute Gulf~~" he said again as fear had already build up inside me but I managed to stay sane

"I'm not yours!!!" I finally yelled

"I will get you and we will have a long life together... my beloved Gulf" he said then hanged up straight away, I sat there still looking to my phone that displayed a message about the call recording have been registered in xx file, thankfully I added this feature and any call is automatically recorded, this man finally contacted me, I was waiting for this but it's still frightening, I breathed calming myself, he obviously still into me and is planning to get me

I know I should share this with Mew but I don't want to bother him when he is having so much fun with his close friends so they came back by night I acted so normal like usual, they kept showing me the pictures they took and everything they bought, thankfully things went smoothly during the four days they spent here except for the phone calls I kept receiving once a day, on the day they were leaving, we accompanied them to the airport, Mew went to check for their plane and that's when they got me

"stay safe Gulf and be strong" Luke begin

"I will thanks"

"rely on Mew completely and keep fighting, I'm sure everything will be over soon"

"I already trust Mew more than anyone else, I'm sure we will be fine"

"btw Gulf, we have an important question to ask" Noah started

"go ahead ask me anything"

"do you have any feeling for Mew?" he asked

"feeling? You mean romantic feeling?"

"yes, answer us honestly" Luke said making me look widely at them

"of course not!! Mew is a trustworthy friend I can depend on that's all!"

"then why don't you start falling in love with him" Noah said taking me aback

"euh... I don't know how to react to what you just said, why are you so focused about this?"

"as you may have noticed, Mew is bad at dealing with others so we believe that he may never get a lover but since he got close to you, it will be great if you both fall for each other and we won't have to worry about him growing up alone anymore" Luke explained

"I understand but it's impossible since we are both men"

"so what? Mew is a Bi and if you seduce him he may even become gay just for you"

"HUH?! That's completely messed up! Besides love can never be forced and I'm sure Mew thinks the same"

"don't worry, Mew will surely fall for a an attractive kind and friendly young man like you, he just need a few pushes and you'll get him" Luke said

"he can be dense sometimes so make sure to seduce him well and show him your feelings"

"but I don't love him in that way"

"you will, Mew is a great man and anyone will fall for him, just open your heart for him" Noah said making me so stunned by the way of their thinking, just when I was about to talk back, Mew came back telling them that they should already head to their plane

"so it's a promise Gulf, do your best and contact us for any advice"

"we will wait for a good news!" they said and quickly left after saying their goodbyes to Mew leaving me dumbfounded, on our way back

"what promise did you make with them?" he suddenly asked making me flinch

"no-no-nothing serious"

"just tell me already"

"they want me to help you get a lover" I blurted the first thing I thought of

"those stupid friends, please don't listen to them, they always push me to get a lover while I'm not interested"

"yes, I know especially now, ah, but I also agree that you should start dating after everything is over" he glanced to me for a moment then back to the street

"don't start becoming like them"

"I won't, I just want you to have a happy future with someone you love"

"thanks, I will think about it some other time now let's focus on what you've been hiding for the past four days

"how did you know?!"

"did you think you can foul me with that amateur acting? I just didn't say anything in front of my friends and now we are alone, you must tell me everything

"I see, well either way I was going to tell you everything, I won't hide anything from you P' Mew" I stated making him smile

"good boy" once we got back I gave him my phone as he listened to all the disturbing and disgusting recording for the calls I got, he became so angry and even began cursing him

"what a crazy bastard spouting all this nonsense, just ignore him Gulf and forget about everything he said"

"don't worry, I never paid attention to him in the first place although I can't deny that I still fear him and can't help but get overworked when I hear his voice"

"next time he calls make sure to give it to me" but strangely, that killer stopped calling since Mew's friends left, it seem he will only contact me when he is assured that I'm alone which mean that he is watching me.

I already started my internship starting from November, Mew accompanied me around all day, it makes me so relaxed since both me and Mew will be safe from that psycho, the police really worked hard and they finally managed to find the Boss who almost shot me, they kept chasing him around until they finally caught him trying to illegally ran out of the country using a boat.

When he got caught, his group got so worked up and even started attacking us in public, unfortunately Mew got hurt a few times while protecting me but since he was carrying guns he managed to catch three of them thus only one is left, I can't describe how happy I was knowing that this criminal group is finally caught and that my parents will be safe from now on and now me and Mew can only focus on the murder

After farther investigation, we learned that the last man had already been killed a month ago by some unknown man who I only know of course, they confessed that they have been hunted by that man and it was his fault that they even got caught by the police, apparently the day the police found the boss, he was actually running away from that psycho, the boss was found badly injured, if the police didn't arrive in time the boss would have been killed and his body would have vanished

We also discovered that the boss was in fact Anong distant cousin who wanted to marry her but she kept rejecting him, he got so angry and was the reason that Anong ex-husband got caught while cheating, everything was planned by that cousin, when he thought he can get Anong, she decided to marry my father which made him even more furious since it was hard for him to manipulate anything concerning my father so he started harassing us and was even planning to kill me and my father and then kidnap Anong and take her outside of the country

My stepmother kept apologizing day and night even though it wasn't her fault, I heard about people going crazy and doing unacceptable things because of love but never knew that it can get to this extent, the news and social media was filled with our story but no one focused on the unknown killer which is better this way, I would hate myself if innocent people start getting hurt because of me, with this the criminal group case is finally closed.

In reality, this group is nothing compared to the real dangerous murder who is roaming around the streets freely, except for how he looks, I don't know any single thing about him, I'm not even sure if he look the same as before, he may have done some facial operations and changed his face, this thought is enough to make restless since I won't even recognize him even if he approaches me but I know that everything will be fine since Mew is with me.
