" Nithya ? "

Priya was tongue tied after seeing Nithya.

Arjun's ex-girlfriend.

Priya has already seen her in Arjun's instagram, right after their marriage. Of Course Arjun was the one who showed it to her, and then he deleted all their togetherness post's from instagram too. Although she knows Arjun didn't love her, it was just an attraction for him which faded away by passing time, yet facing your husband's ex is a little bit awkward that too in front of your husband.

Looking at her priya understood why arjun was attracted towards Nithya, she is really a sight to get attracted then how can a guy like arjun ignore that ?

Priya was void of words, where Nithya gave a cheeky smile to priya and spoke " it would be better if you help me rather then staring at me "

Priya blinked her eyes several times and bit her lips in embarrassment for being a statue all the time. Priya got worried as she saw Arjun's state, she was beyond confusion. First drunken arjun and second Nithya. These two things weren't fighting with each other, what would have happened ? Priya brushed her all questions and decided to first look after Arjun, later she can ask all her questions by herself to arjun.

Stepping forward priya pur her one arm on Arjun's shoulder and other one on his waist to support his weight. As soon as priya held him, arjun shifted his whole weight on her by leaning on her more.

Managing his weight by difficulty priya brought him inside while taking slow steps where Nithya too helped priya.

Priya made him sit on the couch and bent down to take off his shoes, one by one she took off his shoes in a hurry and placed them aside.

"Arjun what happened ? And why are you drunk ? Where were you till now ? " priya asked him while sitting beside him, arjun didn't reply anything. Instead of it he just laid on the couch curling into a ball like a child. He looked at her with hooded eyes for a few seconds and then closed his eyes not before murmuring something. Worries appeared on Priya's face seeing him like this.

She knew it, she knew from the moment they returned from the hospital his behaviour and body language was changing. He was avoiding eye contact with her which is rare. She thought he would open up to her once he felt the need for it. Above that priya doesn't want to plaster him about something which he didn't want to do. But she never thought he would take this step.

Nithya was watching all these with a blank face, she was totally clueless about what to do next.

She knows he's married, and she is genuinely happy for him. At least one of them got their soulmate. After their break up Nithya went far away from him to start a new journey and she did. She got married to the guy whom her parents chose for her. No doubt she is happy with her husband. But still the feel of losing your first love will never fade away.

After a long time she visited her husband's club just to make sure that everything was going well and suddenly her eyes fell on Arjun.

Nithya never thought that she will meet Arjun after years and that too like this in a club. She herself couldn't believe the drinking sight of Arjun. Yet she made sure it's him only, then she approached him and asked what was the matter. But Arjun didn't reply to any of her questions. Nithya was worried about him, he already looked as if he would break down any moment she couldn't leave him like that on his own hell he couldn't even drive... What if something bad happens to him ? Nithya can't take risk on this matter when it comes to Arjun. After all, she still cares for him. So without thinking further, she helped him to get back home.

She saw the unconditional love and care in priya's eyes for Arjun.

Nithya was pulled out of her thoughts when she heard priya's voice.

" Arjun......" priya gasped looking at his exhausted figure.

" ammm........i think he's not in the state of replying. Let him be " spoke Nithya with some hesitation whether she should speak or not.

Priya nodded at her and faked a smile just to make Nithya comfort.

" What would you like to drink tea or coffee? " Priya asked in order to treat the guest properly.

" No thanks actually i have to leave my husband must be waiting for me " Nithya said pressing the husband part more to let priya know that she is married so she won't get any insecurities after seeing both of them together again. Nithya doesn't want to create any problems between priya and Arjun. The thought of her being the reason for someone's broken marriage will eat her alive.

Although Nithya's husband is aware of her past relationship with Arjun, he never had any issues with it as he always trusts her. In this matter Nithya got lucky. Because she never had to hide anything from him out of fear or insecurities. He's such an understanding husband for nithya. Yet he doesn't know that Nithya met Arjun today and she helped him too. Maybe she will tell him once she gets back home.

" Oh..... " That's all priya can say. She wanted to have a conversation with Nithya. Of Course she wants to know how they met , and why he is drunk. But words were not coming out of her mouth.

After a few seconds of silence Nithya spoke "I just met him today, accidentally..........i saw him in one of my husband's clubs. At first i thought it can't be him.....but later i found out that it's him only. He looked so tense and depressed. He was drinking as if it's the only thing he wanted. I tried to stop him....but I guess he doesn't even recognise me, " Nithya paused, remembering he failed to recognise her. She was a little disappointed when she realised he had moved on from her completely. It's not like she is complaining but it's just........she couldn't take it easy. Coming out of her thoughts Nithya again continued what she left in the middle " he couldn't even balance himself, and i didn't had a heart to leave him like that , after all we were good friends.......so I thought to drop him at home as his phone was switched off due to lake of charge. And yeah don't worry he will be fine by morning.....just give him some headache tablets when he wakes up. '' By the time Nithya finished saying priya gave her a warm smile.

Priya saw the genuineness in her eyes when she spoke, Priya understood that Nithya never had any bad intention.

" Thank you " priya said

" Ohh don't be...... it's fine. And i know i should not be saying this but i just couldn't help actually arjun never drinks..... in fact he hates drinking.......and today when i saw him drinking i felt he's suffering from something, whatever it is sort it out with him......I'm not advising you.....but just felt to say this......sorry if i said anything out of my business " Nithya apologized for interfering in a husband and wife's issues.

" Not it's ok, don't be sorry........I understand your concern. So we will sort of out " told priya feeling a little bit of embarrassment. Getting advice from your husband's ex is the last thing she wanted to happen.

" I'm getting late, let's meet some other day..... I'll introduce my husband and my daughter. " Nithya said in a hurry for which priya agreed.

" And the last thing...... Please don't misunderstand him for seeing both of us together today. I promise it's just happened unexpectedly...." Nithya said in a concern because she won't be at peace if someone's married life is disturbed only because of her.

"We met unexpectedly , don't doubt him for that" Nithya repeated just to make her point clear.

" Don't worry....... I can never doubt my other half " priya said with an assuring smile.

In just one line, Nithya got all the answers to her unasked questions.

Nodding with a wide smile Nithya left from there, priya watched her till Nithya disappeared from her vision.

Leaving a long sigh priya came inside, closing the main door.

Arjun was lying on the couch, his eyes were closed and his chest was hopping up and down due to his heavy breaths. Priya went to him and sat beside him.

Taking his head on her lap she cherished his hairs till his cheekbones. The alcohol smell was making her feel anemic.

Arjun was smelling as if he bathed in alcohol, his shirt was ruined. He really needs to clean himself. Otherwise Priya won't be able to even stand beside him.

" Arjun please get up and take a bath " priya told him, still cherishing his cheeks. But all she got in reply was Arjun's law mumbling.

Not having any other choice, Priya got up and helped him to stand. Arjun put his hands around her shoulder to get some support.

Priya slowly took him to their bedroom by difficulty, as soon as they reached their bedroom Arjun fell on bed being tired.

The alcohol was doing worse on him, he's head was aching like hell, sore throat and weakness not less in this race.

Priya left him on the bed itself and she went to the cupboards to take out his track pent and t-shirt.

" Arjun ....... Arjun " she called him but he didn't even budge from his place.

Priya was feeling like crying, this all is too much for her to handle. Not having any other options, Priya went to him and made him sit on the bed.

Slowly one by one she opened all his shirt buttons and took off his shirt in a swift moment. She didn't hesitate to remove his pent. Being his other half priya has every right to him, it wasn't any romantic moment nor she felt shy to do this. It's a need of the situation and she had to do it for her husband. Only husband and wife can share such a relationship that never has any limitations in it.

Putting her arms around his waist, Priya held him tightly and brought him inside the bathroom. Making him stand under shower priya switched on the shower making the water flow on him.

" Aghhhh priya Stop this " he groaned anonymously. Arjun was startled by the sudden attack of cold water, putri his palm over his head and face turn by turn he tried to stop the water flowing in him. Priya watched all this by keeping a distance from him.

After a few minutes Priya stopped the shower and went to him with a towel.

Arjun looked a little bit human after the cold shower treatment. Gandooo a bathrobe Priya gestured him to wear. Without throwing tantrums Arjun did as she was told.

Holding his hand, Priya again took him out of the bathroom and sat him on the edge of bed, till she didn't speak anything nor did he. He was just doing whatever she says like Robert without any expression.

Priya took the towel and started to dry her hair. Arjun's eyes were on her, she too knew it but didn't bother to give him any reaction as she herself was pissed for some unknown reason.

Arjun looked at her and then again he looked at her stomach. He did it several times and suddenly he didn't know what came into him. He hugged priya with so much force, still in the sitting position, so his face was on her stomach. Priya was taken back by his sudden gesture. She dropped the towel on the floor and placed her hands on his hairs to smooth him.

Wrapping his both hands around her waist, Arjun pressed his face more into her stomach.

" Arjun....." Priya called him with concern.

He didn't reply to her, priya too wrapped her hands around him providing him the comfort he wanted at the moment.

Arjun was mumbai, something against her stomach, priya couldn't understand what he was saying.

In a few seconds she felt something wet on her stomach, stretching her eyebrows in confusion. She parted away from him and looked at his face only to gasp.

Arjun's eyes were bloodshot red with tears.

" Priya, please don't leave me, " he cried out of fear of losing her. His voice held so much pain that he couldn't spell properly. A lump created in his throat making it more difficult for him. The alcohol insight showed his pain and fear which he tried to hide inside him. Pain and fear of losing his LOVE.

Fear of losing his wife and the unborn life which they made with their Love.

" Arjun I'm here with you.....and I'll be always with you.......why would i leave you  " priya spoke in such a sweet tone. She doesn't know why he was having such a thought of her Leave it him may be because of alcohol she thought and consoled him with sweet words.

Where Arjun took her palm in his and kissed it one by one and again hugged her tightly as if his life is dependent on the hug. Priya hugged him.

" No.....yo.........you.. will leave me......if ...if the bab.....baby....aghaaaa " Arjun couldn't complete the sentence as another cry left from his mouth.

Who said man's don't cry ? They do.

Man's cry when it's too much to handle, when they don't find any other options to solve the issue. When they're so damn done with facing all the damn problems. When they feel helpless and pathetic, when they have fear of losing their loved ones. They cry. Man's do cry and it's normal. After all, men are also human beings.

" Arjun..... what are you even saying...... I'm not able to understand it " priya spoke and tried to console him but arjun seemed not caring about it anymore. All he wanted at that moment was cry his heart out, cry till his eyes go out of tears. He just wanted to cry.

Seeing him like this priya's heart ached, she never saw him like this before, he looked so broken, definitely something is eating him alive, pain and fear is visible in his eyes. By this time she knew something terrible was coming for them. Something that is gonna change their life.

Now she is scared too. A part of her wants to know what broke him like this, and the other part of her isn't ready to know the truth.

" Arjun..... Arjun please.....look at me..... don't cry.... please....." Priya pleaded with him to stop crying. She made him look at her by lifting his face with her hands.

" Pri.....priya......our baby will snatch you away from me....i don't want to lose you...i want you in every moment of my life......i want you priya...... please don't leave me..... please.....i can't.......i can't leave without you...... I'll die priya ....... please ...........pri.... priya please " Arjun said with difficulty as his hiccups were not ready to stop.......he voiced out all the thoughts which he had in his head till now.

It took a moment for priya to understand what he said........ continuous tears were rolling through her cheeks from her eyes.

" Arj..... Arjun, what are you saying ? Our....our baby is fine right ? " She asked him with the hope that she would hear the positive answer which she wanted. But the expression on Arjun's face made everything clear to her.

" Arjun...... What did the doctor tell you about sending me out ? " Priya asked him with a questioning face, priya can understand from the time Arjun has a private talk with the doctor he has been behaving so weird. Now all her doubts come true.

There's something wrong with the reports.

Arjun couldn't answer her looking at her face, her eyes killing him thousands of times. He hid her face in her stomach.

Kissing her stomach for numerous times, he conveyed to her that he loves their baby too. Attaching his forehead against her below part of chest he took few long breaths to make himself and her ready to face the reality and he spoke " doctor......she told me that....you can't carry our child.....your uterus is injured from the past events, maybe you had any accidents in your childhood and didn't took a proper treatment. and now it's going to be a hurdle for us. I asked her if we can look for any treatment for this issue but she denied saying it's too late for treatment. If you carried the child then doctors can't give any surety to save both of you at the time of delivery. It will be like you or the baby. And I don't want to lose you. please, please let's abort the baby, please priya.i can't leave without you. nor can I raise our child without you. please......i love our baby.....but i love you more " Arjun was repeating the last part continuously.

" I love our baby.....but I love you more. '' Arjun was repeating the last part continuously.

He doesn't know how to express his emotions, he loves their child....but at the same time he can't take risks with his wife. He loves her more than anything else in this world. Just the thought of leaving without her made him scream in his mind. He can't.

He is at the point of life where he can't even breath in peace without her. It's life she became his strength, his weakness. His everything.

The moment when the doctor told him to choose between his wife and child, his world splitted into two pieces. After leaving priya at home he went out just to thinking of the possibilities to save both of his love and life. But when he didn't found any possibilities darkness shrouded him, he just wanted to get out of the darkness. He wanted to forget Everything but didn't know how. In his life time Many people said that alcohol take you in the different world, so he tried it. Although he knew it's just a temporary diversion. But he wanted that diversion. so he drank. And at the end of the day alcohol is not a solution of your problems.

He waited for her reaction, but all he got was silence. Lifting his head up he looked at her, and found her eyes already on him.

But something wasn't ok with the way she looked at him, her eyes were expressing much more than he expected.

She met him in her school, and they both fell in love. They loved each other enku. God felt jealous of their love, so he thought to play with them. He snatched Adi from priya for seven years. Priya lost the seven years of her life. After a lot of pain and cries she met him after seven years. But he was totally new from what he used to be. Yet she loved him, because Adi or Arjun's name never mattered to her. It's the person that matters to her. Love is when you love a person without any reason. Because after a point of life the reason can change for which you loved the person, but the person will remain the same. So learn to love without reasons. Finally they got married to each other.....it took her a few months to adjust with the new Arjun. And again something happened that hurted her, Arjun misunderstood her. He almost questioned her character, although it wasn't his fault. He himself wasn't aware of his past due to his memory loss. With a heavy heart she explained everything to him about their past. After sharing everything with him, she hoped that from now on they will lead a happy and peaceful life.

But again everything shattered into pieces, this is what happens every time when she thinks that here after everything will be fine and at peace something bad will come from nowhere.

She is tired of facing problems one after one, doesn't she deserve a peaceful life ? Did she ask too much ?

Priya's eyes were stuck in his eyes, both of them shared a lot of unspoken smoothing words to each other through their eyes.

Priya blinked her eyes several times to let go of the unshaded tears, and she suddenly sat beside him breathing harsh. Arjun turned towards her and held her shoulder.

As soon as he held her shoulder Priya hugged him with all her might, she was literally hugging him so tight that it was difficult for him to breathe. But he didn't say anything, he knew right now she needed him more than anything else. She needs him to make sure that everything will be fine soon.

Arjun too hugged her and rubbed her back inorder to console her, but it was the wrong move. Because as soon as he touched her, Priya burst out crying loudly.

She couldn't take this, it's too much.

The pain is too much to bear. She is done being strong.

Hugging him tightly she cried and he did too, it is the time when they can show how much they loved each other, and how much they love each other. By supporting each other at the right time.

Both of them were in the same boat, pain was surrounding them like the ocean. Both didn't know how to get out of the ocean of pain.
