खुशियाँ कम और अरमान बहुत हैं,
जिसे भी देखिए यहाँ हैरान बहुत है।

करीब से देखा तो है रेत का घर,
दूर से मगर उनकी शान बहुत है।

कहते है सच का कोई सानी नही,
आज तो झूठ की आन बान बहुत है।

मुश्किल से मिलते हैं शहर में इंसान,
यूँ तो कहने को लोग बहुत हैं।

Khushiyan kam aur aramaan bhaut hai,
Jise bhi dekhiye hairaan bhaut hai.
(Happiness are less but desires are lot,
Look at everyone they are so astonished).

Kareeb se dekha toh rait ka ghar,
Magar door se shaan bhaut hai.
(From near it just appears cemented building,
But from far it has lot of pride).

Khete hai sach ka koi saani nahi,
Aaj toh jhut ki aan baan bhaut hai.
(It's said there is no love for truth,
But today lies are appreciated and accepted),

Mushkil se milta hain insan sheher mai,
Yu toh khene ko log bhaut hai.
(It's difficult to find such kind person in a city,
But there are lot people to say).
