Avni's POV

I don't know where I am.It seems like I am locked in a desolate room.I am finding it very difficult and strenuous to even breathe.I stomped at the door.Recklessly putting in all my force to break it open.I was gasping with need of air.I hate locked rooms.I am claustrophobic.It was as if I was slowly sinking.I was giving up.Suddenly I was transported to a different place altogether.I found myself in a luxurious room in a hotel.Rather I was in front of it.I was taking a lot of time in even opening the door.There was some kind of hesitation as if I knew that something very devastating was awaiting me.I slowly opened the door.My eyes were shut.I opened my eyes to see a scene that ripped my life out of me.I saw Neil and a random slut making out on the bed.Neil was shirtless and the girl had only her bra on which Neil was opening.My world collapsed.Neil broke the kiss and looked at me.He smirked

He said:Hey wifey this is what you get when you love me.I hate you and you are just like a tissue for me.USE AND THROW.oh now you are very impudent.You are disrupting our night.

Neil came towards me.I slowly sank to his knees and pleaded"please don't do this I will die without you.Don't please.

I cried while my head was swirling like anything.I cried helplessly.My cries,the intense pain I was suffering from seemed to have 0 EFFECT ON HIM.

I kept chanting:I love you.Please i LOVE YOU.Give me a chance.

Neil:Awww baby.Seeing you so vulnerable and helpless gives my heart a pleasure which I wanted since you came in my life.I hated you soooo much while you love me unconditionally.THis makes things so easy.I did not have to do anything.Just sleep with some random girl and you are broken.Damn easy.

I clutched his legs and forbade him to go the room.I also gave a run for the girl.I shouted at her and told her to get out but my cries were not heard.Neil took my hand and threw me out.My tears almost blinded me.

I warned Neil:You do it,you betray me and I will kill myself.You would be the cause of my death.

Neil replied:Who cares.I actually wanted to kill you.So you just make things easier.

Neil left for the night while I parted for my last night.

Neil's POV

I kept staring at Avni as if it was the end of the world.Suddenly my phone rang.I went down to attend the call.I did not want to disturb her sleep.After 5 minutes or so I went to the room.I saw Avni tossling on the bed.She looked like she was having a very bad dream.I suddenly noticed that tears had made way through her cheeks.She kept murmuring things.Her hands were on her heart as if it was paining badly.As if she was heart broken or....a scary possibility made shivers pass my spine.What if it was a heart attack.People do die while sleeping.No Avni can't die.Let alone dying nothing wrong can happen to her.I was rooted at the spot she was still holding her chest .Her expressions told that she was in severe pain.Thoughts of even going up to her did not cross my mind.After 10 seconds.The initial shock passed down and I ran to her.I sat down beside her and immediately laid my ears on her chest.The rhythm seemed okay.Avni was still mumbling things.I took her hand and rubbed it.It was sweaty and she had her fist tightly shut.I slowly opened it.I put her hand on my face and kissed it lovingly.I was convinced that it was not a heart attack.I would have almost cried in relief.Okay not almost I did cry.A tear droplet fell right on her face.I quickly rubbed my tears away with the back of my hand.I did not know that I was damn sensitive.Atleast when it comes to Avni.I went up to her lips to hear what she was trying to tell.

Avni:Neil no please don't do this.Please a chance.I just want a chance.

I was the villain of Avni's life as well as her dreams.She is scared of me.In fact she hates me.At least she is FOLLOWING THE PATHWAY TO HATRED.I wanted to take her in my arms and tell her that I won't hurt her.I can never hurt her.Why me no one can hurt her.I slowly shifted her to my arms.

I whispered:We will get across this nightmare together.

I softly placed a kiss on her forehead.she was shivering and suddenly she again mumbled"You will be the cause of my death".those words echoed in my mind.I was the cause of her death.I looked at her with disbelief.No this can't be true.I will never be the cause of her death.Maybe in her nightmares I am no less than a monster but in reality I will protect her.I craddled her in my arms.She was not reciprocating but I still pampered her like a baby.I placed kisses on her forehead.My memories of last night flooded.It was 5 in the evening.It was just 23hrs since we are a married couple but we already had 2 major fights .Suddenly Avni woke up with a jerk.She did not think about anything but just hugged me.I went a little back due to the sudden force.I patted her head and played with her beautiful hair.She was crying on my shoulders.I let her get all her anxiety out,on my shoulders.She was just like a huddled up little baby.

I murmured:Its okay it was a dream.You are okay.

She was sitting on me and she somehow managed to say between her tears:Don't leave me...please don't hurt me.

I dug her face in the crook of my neck and whispered:I will not leave you.(in mind-At least not for now).

She looked satisfied.

she was drifting back to a PEACEFUL sleep.I laid her beside me.After seeing that she was comfortable and was not slipping to a nightmare.I left the room.I wanted her to be fresh.I wanted her to have a few good memories before the media comes.So that she can lie to them in a better way.

END OF NEIL'S POV

Though Neil thought that he was just putting up acts for Avni so she could bring up a good story in front of the media but in reality they were his feelings which he was trying to hide from himself.He just gave it the name of "part of my plan" but they were his outflow of emotions.
