On the day that we met
I thought you'd just be a friend
But as days passes by
I feel the love grow deep inside.

Our time of acquaintanceship
Is not too long to know we more
But those moments that we have shared
Are memories, I'll keep forever.

Everytime I'm reading your friendly missive
My days are filling with laughter
My troubles are vanishing away
Cause I'm treasuring it so much.

You're treating me only as a friend
Yet I'm hopeful for more
Cause you're so dear my friend
And I'll keep our friendship all my life.

But why do I love you so?
Though I'm aware that we'd just friends
It's a hurtful truth that I needed to accept
Maybe someday, the reason will be revealed.
